ashley-blesseddaily - Monday, 24 November I have made a decision.........to keep myself from obsessing I am going to limit myself to this site! I need to compromise with myself and find a happy middle point. ( I realize I sound like a addict lol) For whatever reason my cycles are messed up and I am thinking it is b/c I am stressing and wanting to conceive so badly. So from now on......I will only be on here while I am at work. ( I am sure my boss would love to hear this! lol) But the truth of the matter is when I am at home, I need to focus on my Family and I refuse to allow TTC to take away from them anymore! I think this is a good middle point, after all I still will be talking to you WONDERFUL ladies 5 days a week. (most weeks that is) Mon-Fri 8-5 and the rest of the time I am going to try and keep TTC off my mind. Wish me luck! : )
ashley-blesseddaily - Monday, 24 November I have a question ladies, have any of you ever experienced a missed period without being pregnant? I am currently on CD46. (My cycles are usually 35 days since getting off the pill 5 months ago.) I am wondering if maybe I will just skip a month and go back to normal next month. has anyone done this before? If that is the case then I would be on CD11 and be ovulating in a bout 10 days or so, does that make sense? I did see my doctor last week and he told me to come back in 2 weeks if AF doesn't show up for another PG test, but I am most certain I am not prego. Any thoughts........
SheilaInWicklow - Monday, 24 November Beckybear- so sorry about the m/c and best of luck with TTC. I read your comments on the forum. I work with a woman who has 8 year old identical twins and she was 49 this year! So yes you can certainly happy healthy babies at your age (which by the way is NOT old) Only thing- I have heard the chances of twins increases in their 30's.
roosa - Sunday, 23 November Thanks for taking the survey and also thank you for guiding me to firstime's blog. I am always looking for such information. There are some great resources online if you just do a search on 'pregnancy loss what not to say'. I am definitely going to use some of all that information in my pamphlet. However I also want to build the information in the pamphlet on my own research (hence the survey) - which basically confirms everything I read online. It is just good to have that to back it up with. It is also interesting to see the percentages in my survey. It only goes to show that people have very different experiences also due to different personalities and so I think the conclusion is: just ask! Ask what the person needs. If they want to talk or not. What bothers them. Etc etc.
Thanks again and take care! Karin
bubba - Sunday, 23 November Good Luck, I hope it works out. I used OPK's and have a fairly regular cycle but the month I got preg. I stopped testing a week after I should have O'd because I never got a pos. I must have O'd later though! Keep BDing, you never know! Let me know how it goes!
