Thank you for the comment about my photos! It was fun to take them, I would definitely have your hubby take some of you while you still have the cute belly! The swollen fingers were pretty awful, I ended up having to get my rings cut off.. At least they are repairable (as opposed to the finger had I left them on)!!

it's no myth... there are certain accupressure points in the back of your heal that are known to stimulate contractions.... google accupressure and labor together... or you could call a local salon and ask if there is anyone who is trained in those certain accupressure spots... i had two pedi's done when pregnant with my daughter... no so much luck, but i learned about them in school... i'm a licensed cos. good luck.

Thank you...I do have an indoor pool I can use on campus and we have a big lake where we live....just the thought of putting on a bathing suit!!! My oldest son keeps telling me that I ONLY have 18 more days...if he only knew!!! I am pretty desperate right now...so I may have to swallow my pride and dig out the swim suit.

Thank you very much! I was originally due July 26th. But because I have a previous full term loss my Dr did an amnio to check for lung maturity. The amnio came back that his lungs were ready and I had a a c-section on June 26th!
Thank you again....and I hope your pregnancy is going good. I hope you have a speedy delivery!

I too have been experiencing the itchiness. I had it with my last pregnancy and all my doctor said was that it was probably a yeast infection or hemorrhoids. I tried both over the counter drugs for those and nothing helped last time. this time i am getting it again and am horrified that i wont get any relief. thank you so much for the info, i will ask my doctor about it asap!!!!!

MelisaK - Thursday, 3 July
Thank you...it would be great if I could sleep in one.

Thanks for the advice Carolyn! It has been hard for me to pick what kind of music to bring because I know there are different stages of labour and I don't know whether I will want slow, more meaningful music, or music that takes my mind off of what is going on! I'll try to pack some slow and up tempo CD's so that I can switch things up if I need to!

Thank you that's my little princess Diva.

You are totally welcome on the DVD advice. Seriously this DVD is worth it. Even if your baby doesn't develop colic those fussy days will be null and void once you use the techniques they teach you. So I completely recommend it.

good luck sweetie. Can't wait to read your birth story.

Thank you for the name suggestions!! I really like Elizabeth but I can't get my husband to go for it!

Oh wow I didn't realize there were strings hanging out of the Mirena, that would take some getting used to I suppose. So how often does it have to be taken out?

Janellemarie - Tuesday, 1 July
I hear ya! My father-in-law always tells me I need to make Dan help me out more and I just laugh and say no its fine. When really most days I could use his help. Its hard though cause some days he will be perfect hubby and help me with everything....but usually its fishing first or a buddy is coming over or something else. Grrrrr. I just wanna make it through these next 3 weeks sane!

Mommad - Tuesday, 1 July
Girl, I feel ya! I too work fulltime and sometimes overtime, take care my 9 yr old, laundry, cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, sex nearly nightly.... I exploded last week. I told my husband he was going to have to start doing somethings around the house. I couldnt take it any longer. It worked. I think he didnt realize how tired I was b/c I just kept doing everything all the time. Sunday I slept the day away while he did laundry and cleaned. I still cook everynight b/c he doesnt get home from work until about 7. I starve to death if I waited that late to eat. But he is helping out some. I hope yours does too. Just tell him.

Thanks, My tops are actually singlets and they are not officially maternity. It's winter over here so I always wear one underneath and slip things off for a photo. The lace is great as it comes down low when some tops are a bit short.
I see you are at 36 weeks, I love getting there. All the best.

I just got some new pictures up of the girls and of our new driveway. I'm now getting ready to take down the chicken wall paper that's in our Kitchen. Hopefully we can paint it in a few weeks as soon as I get it down. Hope all is good and hope to talk to you soon!!!

Wow, I really appreciate your answer about the bleeding after sex. Honestly, my first thought was this is probably normal but my husband freaked out and that got me all paranoid, lol! Thanks, again!
