What breastfeeding mistakes did you make the first time around? I figure that I can learn from your old mistakes if you don't mind sharing...smile. Sometimes I feel like I don't have a clue what I am doing! I am not looking forward to going back to work in two weeks. Anyways, my baby is amonth old today! She is getting chunky...already gained almost 2 pounds!!! We always joke that her thighs look like little hams hocks!

CONGRATS!!! She is beautiful. I love all that hair!!

My induction went well. I had to go on pitocin after they broke my water and it lasted for about 10 hours and I had her at 6:04am on 8/2/08. She was 7lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long. I am going to post pics to my profile. Hope all is going well!

yea i feel soo bad shes soaked after feedings i swear the sheild makes it flow out more haha but at least i know ill have enough milk for her i guess haha i have tons of bottles in my fridge and i hate to use them cuz i love breastfeeding her but i should use some of my fridge milk i guess i need to get freezing it

haha sometimes i wish she would take forever itd give me a better peice of mind but she gets drowned in milk coming outta the nipple sheild i feel bad for her we have to change her clothes alot ha yea i need to get more bottles that hook to my pump because my boobs are starting to hurt between feedings i think i have a good supply but i dk i usually pump a little under 5 oz out of each breast if i give her a breastmilk bottle in between feedings so my husband can feed her i dk how much i am supposed to be getting out of them but i am gonna try to stay calm enough at night and let her wake me up instead of watching her and waiting for her to cry which is a rare occasion since she doesnt even cry when she has a dirty diaper but if i could get more sleep thatd be great

when she wakes herself up she wakes every 2 or 3 hrs sometimes she wont wake herself up so i wake her up every 2 because she only feeds for like 10 minutes but milk seems to pour outta the sheild and at her 1 week check up she had gained 10 oz and they seemed pretty happy about that but i dk if she should be feeding longer i pump and she gets a bottle or two during the day so her daddy can be involved its hard breastfeeding and not knowing if they are getting what they need
