BBCD09 - Tuesday, 9 December Well ladies I guess its time I got around to updating.. I have my first prenatal appointment January 5th! I cant believe its so far away. Kinda ticks me off a little bit, as I got in with my son between 7-8 weeks, but what can ya do? If my due date based on LMP is correct, I will be between 13-14 weeks If Im doing my math right, by the time I get to go to the doc. On the plus side, the ultrasound should show a bouncing baby, which I am excited for! I have been extremely nauseous this pregnancy and threw up for the first time last night. Yuk! I hate throwing up as it never fails that the vessels in my face always pop so now my face is covered in little red dots. Thank god for makeup I guess. Blake is doing great! He is about a week shy of turning 9 months old. I cant believe it! He has been crawling like a pro for awhile now, started pulling himself to standing around 7.5 months old, he cruises a little around the furniture, walks when you hold his hands, says baba bubu and dada. He laughs when I try to get him to say mama though. The most recent thing hes done is as of yesterday he tarted waving bye bye. Its sooo cute. He waves bye to the cats, my hubby when he leaves for work, he waves at himself in the mirror.. anyting he can think to wave to he does it! Hes getting to be a handful, but I still love every minute of it! Well hope everyone is doing good. I will give more updates as they come!
lovebelly - Saturday, 6 December Thank you so much for telling me that. I really really appreciate it. I never had them before and I am not concerned, they are just different. My husband is freaking out. As I said, I just did a MAJOR move and that is what brought them on, so I am thinking it was just my body telling me to slow down. But I am still waking up with them every morning and I get a good 10 a day. Again, thank you for your response.
AfricaMama - Saturday, 6 December Thanks for such an encouraging message. It was a relief to read your confirmation on the legs measuring 3 or 4 weeks behind... it all helps to ease the anxiety as we anticipate due date! A friend of mine gave me a video to watch on "Hope - when life hurts most" by Louie Giglio. He's a christian preacher from USA and both me and hubby cried many times watching it. There were so many truths about life and it's unexpected turns and how to stand firm 'when life hurts most'. We're definitely not inviting difficult times, but it was encouraging to watch. Also for you and all you have to deal with (as I can't imagine how it must feel to lose a child) - I hope that you will find peace and comfort. (sorry for all the late replies - I'm not on the internet that much, but LOVE the chats...!!!)
haligirl - Saturday, 6 December Oh wow, I didn't realize it cut off like that! the evidence of a foci (lesion) in his heart has increased my risk of a chromosomal abnormality now being
haligirl - Saturday, 6 December Hi there! As you know, my sequential blood screening for Downs was 1:10,000 and for Turner's was 1:10,000. On the level II U/S it was CONFIRMED an "echocardiogenic foci"... but it IS common in fetus up until newborn and may grow out by 3rd tri. Anyhow that HAS increased my risk for "chromosomal abnormality to
jlcoop1 - Friday, 5 December Thanks for the welcome? It is so great to hear from people going through pregnancy at the same time! I am so excited to be having a girl, do you know what gender your little one will be or are you going to be surprised?
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.
haligirl - Tuesday, 2 December Guess what Charchar - I know for certain that my 1st sequentail screening blood result shows my chance of DS 1:10,000 as I've told you. Then I had my 20week fetal measurement U/S and interpreted a "lesion" in the heart so as a precaution, the OB has me going for a level II U/S tomorrow. Of course I'm not concerned and more than likely it's nothing on the screen, even so the lesion will most likely be normal by the time my son is born. BUT - the point I'm getting at is docs take precautionary measures bc a lesion in the heart may suggest a "risk" (3-5%) of DS. From looking at my distinctive 3D US images of my son, he doesn't "appear" to have DS features I recognize. I'm just rambling and that's all I'm saying. Thanxoxo for the pic comment.
Stina - Monday, 1 December All is well here. I don't even feel like I am pregnant most of the time:) I must be having a boy this time. It is totally different. We will find out on thursday (Hopefully) How have you been feeling?? Hope things are going well for you.

n2moola - Sunday, 30 November Thank You! I have my 4 year old son to thank for the professional photography hahaha!
Stay@HomeZOOkeepa - Sunday, 30 November Why thank you! That is so far the only one we can agree on. My fiance is the type who says no to almost every name I suggest and never thinks of any on his own, so simplified...lame. haha anyway that is why I'm always asking for ideas. My daughter already says when is my new little brother Knox coming home...so it just might stick until he's born. I read your profile I'm really sorry to hear about your son, and glad to hear all is going good! You sound like a very brave, strong women! (well more but I'm already rambling) Good luck!
