last.one.for.me - Thursday, 25 September Ugh, I fell down the stair no less than TWO times today. How fucking shitty. My heel on my rather gorgeous shoes kept getting caught in the hem on the bottom of my gloriously wide legged maternity trousers.. I've got a sore arse cheek on the left and the small of my back is sore from the first fall, and I have grazed knees and an even more agigtated back from the second fall. It's a small mercy that I do actually hold onto the railing and that I didnt fall from the very top of the flight. Both times it was the last 3 o4 steps. Going to see what my back's like tomorrow morning, if still sore, I'm going toring in sick and ring my midwife and see if she wants me to go in and ge checked - I'm sure everything will be fine though right? What do you guys think??
firsttimer - Wednesday, 24 September Cheers, goodnight x
firsttimer - Wednesday, 24 September No I haven't had to have any injections because I had a complete molar pregnancy. I had a d and c and they seem to have removed all of the abnormal cells. Unlike you, I did not continue to bleed and my HCG did not rise again, or at least so far. My course of treatment is that I have to have urine testing for six months. I have done two tests so far and both have been normal. If this continues my treatment will end in January and I will be able to conceive again after that. Of course, that's only if they don't find anything else wrong with me in the meantime, from all the other blood tests they are doing. It's a drag....
shellyl - Wednesday, 24 September I have Tinzaparine injections everyday as well as 75mg asprin. It is to thin my blood. Prior to having the injections and asprin, I had never got past 6/7 weeks before and amazingly I am 14 weeks! It has been a long 14 weeks and lots of worry but all worth it. My friend who is Rhesus negative had injections and was monitored really carefully and she has two healthy babies. Good Luck xx
firsttimer - Wednesday, 24 September Hey, thanks for getting back so quickly. I was convinced when reading your blog that it sounded the same. Have a look on www.molarpregnancy.co.uk. It's a very good site and has lots of explanations. I'm also not allowed to TTC for the next six months. They are checking that my HCG levels don't begin to rise again. So far so good though, cause everything is normal for me. Perhaps you can look at the site and then we could chat a bit more about it.
