Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

mariska - Sunday, 26 October hi, i love the picture of emily and jude :) Funny that Jude slept from 10.30 to 6.30...benjamin did the same last night, well almost Jude won by 45 min. I felt really relaxed 2day :)). when is the MRI scheduled?
mariska - Thursday, 23 October Hi there, I have been bussy.....good to hear you are feeling better. Hope will continue to be good. I have heard about your health care system. I work with a lot of US people and they keep on saying that it is incredibly expensive. Financial situation is hitting Europe as well. A lot of banks are receiving financial support from the governements. I am going to check your pics!! And please drop a note if you are coming over to Europe!! O we got the hormone results back today and even Benjamins hormones are good....so we can say he is really ok :))) - Mariska
mariska - Monday, 13 October I am so happy for you guys, how is your own health. Benjamin is doing really well too, he has to go for his first injection tomorrow and they will do a standard check on his growth etc. As far as we can tell he is doing really well. It is a weird situation on the financial market. Europe doesn't seem to be able to get on the same page regarding helping the financial market, so everyone country is doing their own thing....in The Netherlands there is a slight panic and it is starting to affect the housing market, we'll see. I am a bit concerned as I will be out of a job as of 1 Jan due to reorganizing - I was part of the reorg project so no schock but still didn't expect banks to fall over while I am looking for a job....oops :0. Our health care system changed 4 years ago, to look more like the american model :(( But so far our childeren are insured for free until 18, I pay 100 euros a month for me and 2 boys, so that is still very ok, not everything is covered though. So who is going to win the elections? Any new Jude pictures on your site? - Mariska
mariska - Friday, 10 October Hi, Jude still ok? started work again? How is the whole crisis received in the US? It is now started to hit Europe as well. Our national bank ABN Amro collapsed and the state has taken it over.....rough times! but baby wise everything very well!! Take care. Mariska
Laura Ward - Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Lorien - Friday, 3 October Thank you for the info. I am shocked at how many women have been told to terminate there pregnancies because of this! It sounds like most have a great outcome. I had my ultrasound yesterday morning and the perinatologist said the right vent measured at 7mm and they couldn't get a good pic of the left because of the babies position but he would have seen something if it were enlarged! He said the only thing that he noticed at all was my amniotic fluid is on the low side of normal and I needed to rest and drink more to try to bring it back up (so of course I woke up this morning with the stomach flu). Now I'm nervous about getting any more ultrasounds and because of my GD I have to get like 5 more one each week for the last month of my pregnancy. I can't wait until I'm just done and she is born! That is great that Jude is doing so well! My mom had 7 kids the youngest is 15 now and she has never had an ultrasound. I wonder what they would have found if she ever did!
mariska - Wednesday, 1 October hi There, sounds you are doing really well!! Great to hear. We have to go to our friends at the hospital tomorrow (routine follow up). I will update the vM board after we are back. By the way that thing with the hands in the air and falling movements, that is something Benjamin does too and Raphael did as well. It is like they are sky diving or something ;)). Enjoy Jude and pretty Em ;)) - Mariska
Lorien - Monday, 29 September They haven't done an amnio yet but I had the transnuchal ultrasound screening and it said my chances of having a baby with down syndrome were around 1 in 3,000 and one with trisomy 13/18 was less than 1 in 10,000. The ultrasound tech did say that all other measurements at my 28 week ultrasound were normal and that she could see all the parts of the brain that should be there. She only mentioned the lateral vents and not the others. Do you think if the vents measurements are under 12mm at my next ultrasound I should request an amnio? Or am I being overly concerned? Thank you so much for your responses and encouragement all of this has been so much better than anything I can find online!
Lorien - Monday, 29 September I have an appt. with a specialist to do another ultrasound since the one I had was in my Dr.s office with there ultrasound tech and then after that they will decide what to do from there. I was 28 weeks when they said both vents were 11 mm I will be 29 when they do the second ultrasound.
Lorien - Wednesday, 24 September Thank you for your reply and sharing your blog! I went to the see my Dr. today because I wanted a little clarification and the Dr. I saw yesterday virtually told me nothing! Anyway, she said both vents are measuring at 11mm and that it could be nothing but could be something. I'm scheduled to see a specialist on Wednesday for another ultrasound so we are praying it is the nothing. She said my vents measured normal at my 19 an 20 week ultrasounds. I've noticed that a lot of women have vents that are 2 different sizes is there a difference do you know? Thanks again
nordic - Friday, 5 September Congratulations cjengo! He looks like a perfect little baby. We also had to do an MRI with little Nye since they found that he had bleedings and they couldn't see one of the membranes (the septum pellicedum). So far, he has had no issues, and I believe that will be the case with little Jude as well. Enjoy your little baby boy :-)
mariska - Friday, 5 September Hi, he looks very cute and very healthy indeed. Hope the results will be good and you get to enjoy Jude without any hospital visits!. Keep us posted. - Mariska
mariska - Friday, 5 September congratulations!! Good to hear he is here and doing well! I am going to have a look at his pics, can't wait. Enjoy little Jude! - Mariska
krissynj - Friday, 5 September Hi, Congratulations to your new baby. I'm very happy for you.
Just wishing you good luck and hope all goes well on Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing a photo of this little baby of yours. I think we are all a conveyer belt now as we are all having our babies one after the other!! Take care Ali xx
mariska - Sunday, 31 August Good luck, hope all goes well and you will be fully recovered soon. Say hello to Jude for me too ;)) Will be thinking of you! Hope to hear from you soon.
mariska - Friday, 29 August Hi there, I can imagine that you can't wait to have it all over with. I think most of us on here didn't have a dream pregnancy and yours has been one of the most troubled one. I still believe your little boy will be fine and hopefully you will be after the delivery as well. Benjamin is now 8 days and doing really well. We have a hospital appointment on 2 October for his hormones. I am still a bit cautious with his head and have to keep myself from thinking that his head is growing too fast....still a bit scared, but enjoying him to the fullest. Hope to get your baby news soon! - Mariska
capegal - Monday, 25 August It makes me kind of crazy that they can be so 'abstract' about things. I really hope that they have some confirmed information in the next few years that will help people to not be so worried all the time. When are you due? Are you planning to give birth naturally?
mariska - Saturday, 23 August Thank :)) I cannot believe how great he is doing and he so much looks like his brother!! How are you holding up?
