Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hey my Natalie is 7.5 months old now, at 7 months I started stage 3's.. she eats really really well. She only has 2 teeth, and two top ones just popped out this morning! We switched to stage 2 probably at 6 months.. she also eats table food, bits of chicken, ground beef, toast, tear apart bits of turkey sandwichs, cheese, yogurt.. she enjoys eating our foods and she does well.

Sorry I haven't been back in touch - life is so crazy busy! And now I'm back at work, so sad... attatched to the breast pump as I type. Pumping every 2 hours makes it hard to get much done - might as well be at home with the baby. :)
How is your daughter doing? I hope taht things are looking up a little... It sounds like her reflux was worse than Jordan's. I give her Axid twice a day to control the pain of vomitting, and besides a lot of laundry, we are doing much better. I ordered a couple of things, a wedge to put under the changing table to put her at an incline when we change diapers, and a ResQ wedge for her to sleep on. Haven't recieved the sleeping wedge yet, but the changing table positioner is really great! Used to be that I couldn't even change her diaper for an hour after feeding her, or she would throw up all that she had eaten. It hasn't stopped completely, but it is better since getting the wedge. If you google ResQ wedge, it should take you to the Pollywog website, where I ordered the stuff. Maybe it would be helpful for you too? I hope that all is well...

So many babies have this acid reflux, it makes me wonder why it's so common. I thought I was having a hard time giving my little girl her dose of prevacid, it's even harder for you because you have to give your little guy half the dose! I don't know why someone doesn't come up with an easier medicine for our babies to take. Liquid is so much easier to give. We have to give 1 ml of Axid at night and it's never a problem to give it since it can be put right into a dropper/syringe. If it's so common with babies to have this you would think they would come up with something to give them besides this prevacid solutab that you don't even know how much they are really getting of it. I hope your little man feels better! Giovanna is doing so much better now and is taking her bottle a lot easier than before. I hope your baby continues to do well on this medicine!

Might be hard but if you could make him skip a feeding you might be able to move him to 6-8 oz for the next feeding.

Isabelle eats 6-8 oz. every 4-5 hours. during the day. usually for the whole days its between 4-5 bottles.

JenO - Saturday, 24 May
Well he seems to be spitting up about 1/2 as much but I think it is slowly creeping back to more and more everyday. I found with the zantac was pretty hard on him so maybe your babe doesn't agree with the prevacid. I have read too though that the meds aren't really to help with the spitting up....just the acid is reduced so it doesn't burn when they do have the reflux! I think we may have to live with the spitting up for a few months....booooo

How does the rice cereal going? I wa thinking of doing the wsame thing with my son. Im amazed at how many babies have acid reflux! My older children didn't have any issues like this!

oodabooboo - Thursday, 15 May
I've just read your message about stiff hands. I had the same thing. My baby is now 10 weeks and the stiff hands have practically gone. My midwife said that it was pregnancy-induced carpal tunnel syndrome and should go away. Maybe that was it. Do you still suffer with it? If you do, I'd go to the doctors because they may need to do a tiny op to correct it if it hasnt gone away by itself (which it most probably has).

suzi - Wednesday, 14 May

Hi, I read your baby was diagnosed with Reflux. I wanted to ask you, if my son doesn't throw up, but arches his back and only eats 2.5- 3oz every 4 hours after eating 5oz before, is that Reflux? The doctor said it was, but I'm not so sure. He was put on Zantac, i just dont know if he really should be on it.

srm31 - Monday, 12 May
I read kind of an old post about napping but was wondering if you have any tips. My babys 8 weeks old and she only seems to nap on me. I put her down , she wakes up , I pat pat pat and she just doesnt fall back asleep. I did this for an hour this morning then gave up only to have her fall asleep in my arms for another hour and a half
