sunny3 - Thursday, 22 May Luckily here in massachusetts he has pretty much no rights to Giana at all.. Unless he pays for an expensive paternity test b.c he isnt on her birth certificate. I chose to X him out b.c in my opinion if he can hit me while i was pregnant with her (which he did and threatened to push me down the stairs etc) then there is nothing stoping him from hurting this defensless little girl yanno?i could never forgive myself if i allowed him back in and he did something to hurt her... I cant believe maine is so custodially retarded! clearly if he wants to claim her on his taxes then hes only looking for a tax break... how aweful to use his own flesh and blood for money! i hope everything is going well with you though and your baby is healthy!!
BoyStruckX2 - Thursday, 22 May You just made me feel alot better :) Thank you. He is absolutely adorable! He looks a lot like my Sean. WIth all the rolls on his arms and legs. :)
mom2be87 - Tuesday, 20 May Thanks for the reply hun. I know what you mean about waiting around and I am going to try my best to move on and forget about it!!!!
lisa-82 - Tuesday, 20 May well good for you!! i hate that some guys just wanna act like their super dad after continuously denying their child..and then STILL dont come around-thats just sad to even put a child thru that!! and its immature!! yeah i'm expecting my bd to ask for a dna testing after he gets served w/ c.s. papers!!! but whatever.
lisa-82 - Monday, 19 May well it may be different in diff states but when i filed for c.s. it actually asked on the form if i wanted my son's last name changed and if no, why not...so of course i said no!! but yeah i dont regret doing what i did at all!! and im so glad i had my parents there to encourage me!! sometimes i wish he was there for delivery but w/ everything i've been thru im glad he wasnt!! i could just see us arguing in the hospital...and i wasnt letting my day get ruined!! so your bd served YOU w/ papers?? so he was tryna get custody right away or what?
misslisa - Friday, 16 May I just wanted to let you know, that your boy is definately NOT to early. It may give him a little gas, just as formula probably did in his first few weeks as well. The doctor actually put my son on cereal at 6 weeks, and solid stage one foods at 9 weeks or so. I told him how he was eating 6 oz every two hours and it just seemed like our day was one big feeding. He totally surprised me when he said "well, lets weigh him, then we did, he also weighed around 15 lbs by then and he measured his length, and said, "you know what? go ahead and start him tonight. " When formula isn't giving a baby enough of what it needs, and isn't sustaining them, it just means their body is burning the calories a lot faster than they can take them in. Also, when this happens (with babies who grow faster than others) they end up missing out of other things, like stimulation, bonding with other family members, playing etc. because they pretty much, eat and sleep. Don't feel bad! Even doctors will tell you that Mom really DOES know best. Every baby is completely individual..........just our babies are ready a lot earlier than average, some babies arent ready for food until almost a year. Keep doing what your doing, remember though, that gassy IS normal, mostly when looking for allergies, you are looking for a rash on his/her neck and face and hiney. And diarreah. And even then, its recommened that you try the food once the following week AND the week after, and only if the same reaction happens three times with only that food, they're allergic. But unless you or his father have food allergies, I wouldn't worry too much. 90% of the baby's in our month will be eating solids in the next two weeks anyway. You really aren't doing it that early. Most docs ok it at 4 months. Good luck!
MamaCas29 - Monday, 10 Mar How long was he at birth?
danamommy08 - Monday, 11 Feb Lol yeah I'm getting pretty fed up with being pregnant. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes so I figured I'd have him a week or so early (they'd induce me) but b/c I'm controlling my sugars so well and I'm not on any meds my doc doesn't see any reason to induce me b4 40 weeks, so my GD is actually working against me!! So that makes it all the more frustrating, lol. I have a doc appt tomorrow so hopefully I'll know when I get to have my baby. My doc did tell me they won't let me go past 40 weeks, but watch, they'll induce me when I'm a day away from 41 weeks, lol. Good luck tomorrow!!
1st-time-mama08 - Saturday, 2 Feb Did u have blood in ur mucus plug too? It seems like people think it goes faster when u have blood, but not sure.
babytigerrain - Thursday, 31 Jan Hey are you really 4 cm dilated too? I am, & 50% effaced! Now i'm worried about not going into active labor on my own... Are you? My doctor told me if I get to 5 then he wants me at the hospital. I know that's to induce. What has your doctor told you? Sorry all the questions. Just alittle afraid of labor not starting, and being induced!
jennifer21 - Thursday, 31 Jan Wow. Not much longer for you. I'm so jealous:) I'm only dialated 1 cm and I figured since this is my third child she might come early but I don't think that is going to happen. Good luck. Maybe if you do a lot of walking she will come on out:)
LIZ82 - Sunday, 23 Dec congrats . how is your pregnancy going ?
