ktpregers - Wednesday, 10 December glad you had no real pain when it came out. yes, I am really nervous. I talked to the nurse about it today and what scares me is the fact that they have to keep the speculum sterile which means dry. I have had this a few times and I actually scream because it hurts so bad. She said that at this point in pregnancy discharge is increased so maybe that will help. I am going to ask for sterile lube but they will most likely say no. Anyway, is carlos excited to have his first christmas? I bet you are going to have a great one!
The3Wolfes - Monday, 8 December So far the only scary thing that I've seen in his diaper are the black beans...haha! It's funny now that we are Mom's, it's totally ok/normal to talk about that kind of stuff!
How is CJ doing w/your tree? When Sam is in his walker, he darts right over to it! He is sure keeping me on my toes. I like having the tree, but life would be much easier without one!
Sam does good w/the Nuby sippy cups too! I got him a Gerber one and he wants nothing to do w/it. I think they like the Nuby cause they have the silicone spouts, so to them it's more like a bottle nipple. About a month ago I gave Sam some watered down juice and he wouldn't drink it. I cannot wait til he's 1 yr (in less than 1 month!) and he'll be on cows milk! No more runs to Walmart for formula, haha! I pumped exclusively for the first 6 months and keeping those bottles cold while running errands was such a pain in the butt. So when he's on cows milk, it's gonna be kinda like that all over again .
Oh - how is CJ doing at night now? Is he still waking up? Can you see his top teeth yet? Sam's are starting to break through! It's gonna be so funny seeing our little men with a mouth full of teeth !!

ktpregers - Saturday, 6 December Well that is good to hear. I hope Cora comes quick! Dr. told me today that she is taking out my stitch on the 23rd...DH's birthday! so, christmas could be interesting! :) Did it hurt at all when you had it out?
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.
The3Wolfes - Friday, 5 December Sam did pretty good w/Santa. That is until he realized we weren't next to him, then he started to cry. Thankfully we were able to get 1 photo (too bad it's such a serious one though, haha).
Funny you ask about the stranger anxiety....because today was the first time I really noticed it! I went to my Mom's group this morning, and I dropped him off in the nursery and he instantly started crying and then (this broke my heart) he put his hands up in the air and was reaching for me!!! He's never done that before! Come to find out he was fussy just for a few minutes and after that he was ok...phew.
Oh I gave Sam beets! He seemed to like them. I just hope they don't stain his clothes cause then I wont want to give them to him anymore...especially now that he's been tugging at his bib and yanks it right off.
Let me know how CJ likes his steak! I bet if you cut it up in tiny pieces he would be just fine with it! What else does he like to eat? Do you give him juice? So far I haven't given any to Sam, but I'm wondering if I should/not....what are your thoughts on that? I've been giving him a sippy cup w/water in it and so far he's doing ok w/it. But I know he prefers a bottle. I don't think weaning him off it will be much fun, but since his 1st b-day is creeping up, I should get going on that, right?
I'm sure CJ is just gong through a phase at night. Maybe his teeth are bothering him...or maybe it's the colder temperature (but I'm sure you probably bundle him up good at night). Don't be too jealous of me and my uniterrupted sleep. Sam was a horrible sleeper for the longest time (he woke up all the time until he was 7 months old!!). I'm just so glad he's finally managing to go all night long w/out fussing...YAY!!!
Is CJ saying any words? So far Sam just babbles and he's been babbling up a storm lately!! It's so funny to hear such silly sounds coming out of his mouth.
Have you started Christmas shopping yet?
The3Wolfes - Monday, 1 December I'm so annoyed! I just wrote you a huge reply and then my internet went down and it was all lost...grrrr. Let me try this again!
Sounds like you guys had a great turkey day! Sam likes scrambled eggs yolks too! His favorite snacks are cheerios and cheese, but he eats a variety of stuff. For Turkey Day he had: turkey, part of a roll, mashed tatoes, sweet tatoes and green beans. Lately he's been into apples. I dice them and microwave them so they are a little soft and sprinkle cinammon on them & he gobbles it up. I don't know if you have tried this or not but...I buy ground chicken, beef and turkey and cook it up (seperately) and then portion them out into ziplocs and freeze them. Then when it's lunch or dinner time, it takes less than 1 minute for them to defrost.! It's sooo easy and inexpensive cause I end up getting 14 or more individual servings.
Is CJ waking up fussing in the middle of the night?
Sam is sleeping really good (it took him long enough!) & I am finally getting 8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep. He goes down around 7pm and wakes up at 6:45 every morning, like clockwork..YAY!
Awww, that's great that CJ is up on all 4's! He needs to give Sam some poiners since he'll only do the army crawl..haha!! Is he getting into tons of mischief now? What are you going to do when you get your tree?
Just a few more days and Sam will be 11 months old...this is going by way to fast!!!!
xxpibarockeraxx - Wednesday, 26 November Hey Chica..how are you? Sorry for my late response, I have been busy with school...blahhhhhh...
My stitches, well there is funneling ;(...I just hope it dont get to the stitch cos I dont want 2be in hospital bedrest....I hate hospitals 2begin with....Nxt week I'll be getting my cervix monitor...and every two weeks I take an FfN test.....
The3Wolfes - Wednesday, 26 November I'm so sorry it's been taking me forever to write back. My folks are in town right now, so I haven't even been on the computer.
Sam has been eating Cheerios since he was 7 months, and cheese since he was 8 months...he loooves cheese! I can't seem to leave home without it!
I have the food net too! Sam used to love it, but now it seems he tosses it over his highchair. Right now he's really into avocados and bananas. I gave him diced up sweet potatoes and he loved those too. We are taking him to see Santa today! I would wait til December, but I want to have my parents come with us, and they are leaving on Friday. I hope he doesn't cry when we put him on Santa's lap. When are you taking CJ to see Santa?
Thanks for the links...that is such a cool gadget!!
I think you need to write a book! Seriously, you always have such great ideas and suggestions!!
I hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
It's cloudy and rainy out today...YAY! I really hope it stays like this for tomorrow, so it'll feel festive!
Have a great one!!
The3Wolfes - Wednesday, 19 November Well I bought him a toothbrush, and just like you said he shoved it in his mouth. It was great at first, but then when I tried to take over and help him, he flipped out on me and just like that, his wouldn't open his mouth. I think I may have brushed a little too hard cause there was a little bit of blood on the bristles!!
All Sam wants to eat is cheese and cheerios, he's making me crazy!!!
What are CJ's favorite things to eat?
I'm excited to give Sam a little turkey and sweet potatoes on turkey day!!!
The3Wolfes - Monday, 17 November That is a fantastic idea...I'm totally gonna buy him a baby rice brush, haha! You are totally right, he will put it right in his mouth! Stay tuned for how it goes.
Lately Sam has been refusing baby food! He wont let me put a spoon in his mouth and it's driving me nuts! He shuts his mouth and looks away. Is CJ doing that? I just don't think his belly is getting very full. It's really frustrating.
It's been warm and windy. Last night we were on a walk and in the distance, we could see the flames from one of the fires.
ktpregers - Monday, 17 November Thanks! not only did it look nice but it was one of the best tasting cakes I have ever had!! how are you doing??
The3Wolfes - Monday, 17 November I still think that's incredible for CJ to be doing that. He's only 9 months old and boys are usually slower at that type of stuff. Watch out, I think he's gonna be one of those kids that do something and then they are on to the next thing...haha!!!
I hope that Sam will start liking the fingerbrush. I keep telling him that brushing his teeth (a.k.a rice) isn't an option, but he's just not getting it....haha!!
What's the weather like in NJ? It's hot and windy here. I would give anything for some cool Fall weather...grrrr.
I saw your posts and read your bio. I am acctually going through the same thing now. Have a stich and my cervix is getting shorter. I am praying to hold off as long as I can. I am on bed rest now, but it seems I can not get comfortable. How did you do it? Did you have your feet up? I have so many questions. I guess I need to speak with someone who went through this. I hope to hear from you soon. alicja
mrsdenney - Thursday, 13 November i really couldnt tell ya. i mean i like to think i had pretty good health care but looking back maybe i could have gotten better. i delivered at 30 weeks. maybe there could have been something done. maybe in the next few years we will find out.
The3Wolfes - Tuesday, 11 November Oh my gosh...CJ is already cruising!! That is great news!!
I try to get Sam to stand up and hold onto stuff but he just falls right back down I guess they all do stuff at different times, huh?
How is CJ doing with the teething? Let me tell you, know when I do the Grins and Giggles, Sam purses his lips totally shut! It is such a pain in the butt to try to brush his teeth/gums now.
The3Wolfes - Sunday, 9 November I think he should go into business...haha! Seriously, it looked amazing! I bet it looked even more amazing in person!
How is CJ doing? Are his teeth all the way in yet? Sam's still aren't!

The3Wolfes - Thursday, 6 November That is AMAZING!! How on earth did your hubby construct that ? I can't get over how good that is!!! Black Pearl watch out!!
mama2bri - Thursday, 6 November hey i know you posted a comment on the teething forum a while ago but i was just wondering have you found anything that worked for you? my daughter is almost 7 months and has 2 1/2 teeth already in and another 5 1/2 bothering the heck outta her and same thing shes doesnt want to play in her excersaucer or under her little gym or be in her swing..she screams when we try to feed her a bottle and keeps throwing temper tantrums...how did you do it?!
The3Wolfes - Wednesday, 5 November Aren't Grandma's the best...haha!! I think our parents get a kick out of all the stuff they have these days for babies! Whenever I go shopping w/my Mother Inlaw, she is always amazed at everything in the stores (and then she ends up buying tons of stuff for Sam...score!).
When are you gonna post the photos of the pirate ship? The suspense is killing me!!!!
