Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.
KristyK. - Thursday, 20 November To address you tampon question...I breastfed for 11 months and during the entire time I was very DRY down there! I had heard that this is normal. I know it sucks, but I just used pads most of the time. When I was not on my period I would used those replens inserts. They dissolve right away and keep you moist (I know this is so gross sounding, sorry) for up to 3 days. Hope this helps.

Laura Ward - Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

littlecavalier - Thursday, 4 September Hi! Just wanted to comment on the message about breastfeeding. I think that if you are able to pump three ounces at a time on top of nursing, supply definitely isn't your problem! I never had a supply issue and the most I ever pumped, unless I missed a nursing session, is 2 ounces. I also wanted to mention that it could be that your baby is nursing because he is gassy, babies can't really distinguish between gas pain and hunger pain so a lot of times they will want to nurse becasue their tummy hurts. With my son I had to eliminate dairy from my diet because that made him really gassy. It might be worthwhile for you to just take out dairy for a week if possible and see if that makes a difference at all. Also, cabbage, peanut butter, and tomato products also made my little one gassy. All babies are different but milk seems to be a very common thing that upsets their little tummies. Also there are a ton of ways to increase your supply, so don't give up quite yet if you really think that that is your issue. You can get a prescription from your doctor or take one of about 10 different herbs to try and increase your supply. Breastfeeding will get so much easier and in the end it is so worth it for as long as you can make it! Message me at any time if you have any other questions or need support!
kelly714 - Thursday, 4 September My son did the same exact thing yours is doing when he was 5 weeks old! Jake only did it for just under 2 weeks and then it got better. I know of another mom on here that had the same issues at the same age. I was terrrified that I wouldnt be able to eat anything but chicken and rice without upsetting his tummy! I eliminated tomato sauce and dairy during that time and he got better and now I eat both of those thing and he is fine. The fenugreek tea seemed to upset him too. Anyway, just feed him from both breasts no more than every 2 hours and give him a paci in between! I know he'll cry, but he's gonna cry anyway and I think my son had "lactose overload" from nursing so much. You should look up "lactose overload" and read about it, the tips might help you! This wont last forever, I promise!! (I think the lactose overload info is on babycareadvise.com)
mommad - Thursday, 4 September I know the feeling! My baby nurses for comfort alot, even when she's not hungry. I try rocking, patting, walking, pacis...you name it! As soon as the boob goes into her mouth, she's calmed. She also has to nurse herself to sleep. I don't know how to break her without me losing my mind.
mommad - Thursday, 4 September I'm having the same problem. My baby is almost 6 weeks. I only pump 3 oz at a time, sometimes only 2. Someone told me that when they nurse, they get more than when you pump. I actually gave my baby some soy formula last night. I gave her 2 oz after she nursed on both sides b/c she was fussy all day long. I thought she was hungry. The formula didn't help her much either, she was still fussy. Finally I layed down and nursed her again and she fell asleep on the boob. I think maybe her tummy has hurting and she thought she was hungry. It's so hard to know what they want! Will your baby take a paci? When mine is rooting and I've just fed her, I will give her a paci and that helps. She just loves to suck,
babybehappy - Thursday, 4 September cosmomama - I was stressed that I wasn't making enough for my LO too. I took all the herbs that help increase your supply and for 2 days straight I pumped/nursed ever 2 hours during the day and 3 hours during the night. It didn't really boost my supply all that much. I decide to supplement for one of his feedings and I can't tell you how glad I am I did that. I no longer worry if he's getting enough and now he's totally satisfied. Not feeling like I'm starving him - is priceless. This is just my experience. I hope it gets better for you.
dasha - Monday, 11 August amen about the crazy part. i'll be back on here tomorrow for updates. Jesus, I'm tired.

kaycie1 - Wednesday, 30 July oh my gosh, thats what it sounds like.. good luck. water doesnt always gush like a river, sometimes - especiall when u are standing up, the baby' head will be blocking where the water comes out so it only leaks , if u lay down and feel it it might come more. just see what happens. i am so excited for u.. good luck!!
mommad - Wednesday, 30 July When my water broke it was gushing out. Lots and lots of water that wouldn't stop.
dasha - Wednesday, 30 July Thanks, chica. I do feel better, and thanks for the support.....We're luck to have good guys, aren't we? Bless them....
MommyWonder - Tuesday, 29 July That seems like your plug. I've been getting that for about 2 weeks now with other hideous clumps and bloody show in between.
mama1 - Tuesday, 29 July heyyy, thank god for your post, i just had the same thing, like stringy credit card stuff, finally lost some of my plug, nothing else has happened, except cramps all day and last night, they said they dont want to induce me until the 10th, a day b4 my birthday.....
charlestongurl - Monday, 28 July i am in the same boat as you... no dailation, no plug (that im aware of) and still at -2, the only thing they said was my cervix was softening a little bit... when i went to the dr on Friday, I burst into tears when i left... I know the feeling of disappointment... i will be thinking about you!!
peytonsmommy22 - Sunday, 27 July =( It's so disappointing. I know we'll forget about "the wait" once they're here...but for now it's pretty miserable. I've been 2cm and 90% effaced for 3 weeks now so the whole time i was convinced i would go early or atleast on my due date. Oh well! I guess he'll be here when he's ready.
21yrmommy2be - Sunday, 27 July yes, it deff. sucks... ive been having this go off and on since week 35, and ive been thinking something would happen already b.c im 2 to 3 centimeters (as of last tuesday) and 80 % effaced, the baby is neg. 2 station (altho im sure she dropped lower last nite b.c i felt the diff. wen i got up this morning) but, still just this off and on stuff.... my mid-wife said its better to labor a little bit at a time than all at once, right? but, i just want to get it over with!!! lol... and, im very grumpy too... i dont feel like talking to anyone anymore, and im sooo tired of people constantly asking wen im gonna hav the baby and calling 24/7 to see 'how im doing'... its like, the babies still in there, and im still hurting and feeling constantly crappy, the last thing i want is to be asked about it!!! ... well, good luck to u as well...hopefully it wont be too much longer!!!
MelisaK - Saturday, 26 July Yes I had my baby. She is perfect!!! I hope you are doing great.
