Thank you so much for writing me. Everyone I talked to had never heard of it, even my regular OB's assistant. I just got off the phone with my OB and he told me pretty much what you did. He told me once we rule out chromosome problems with the amnio, I will be under close scrutiny for growth and kidney issues from here on out. Waiting for the amnio results is going to be torture. I should have the results by Christmas Eve which hopefully bring me some peace. Does it upset you when everyone just kind of dismisses your worries with ,"Oh everything will be fine" or "You worry too much". How do I not worry, she's my daughter. They said so far her weight is great, that she's a full 12 oz. for 18 weeks and very active which is reassuring. It's is such a relief to talk with someone who knows. I can't thank you enough for responding to me.

Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl. I'm so happy everything worked out so well for you.

Hi all well I'm a mum, Ryan James Iain Davies was born 6 Dec 08 12:09pm 8lb 1oz by emergency c-section. He is currently in SCBU as he has had a few feeding problems, they kicked me out of hosp last night and we're hoping to get Ryan with us by the weekend as he is improving well. Birth story and photos to follow soon. Congrats to everyone who has given birth I will catch up with you all soon, off back up the hosp now. xx

HEY LADIES.. just letting you all know i am semi well i as diagnosed with chronic hypertension and im taking medication for it to prevent induction. which is a good thing and i thank god for that..also my son is 3lbs 10oz at 30 weeks i guess i can expectr a normal sized baby.. well new pics up and i hope all iswell with everyones new editions and their growing bumps..lol

heyy ladies

went to the doc todayy ((and ultrasound))...
my cervix is still closed.
which is great. lil man is weighin 3 lbs 10 oz.
[[i wish he was weighin more but thats rite on track anyways]]

so now im home so i can stuff my face and get lil man fatt.
ive gained 8 lbs in 3 weeks! ahhhhhhh!
ohh well. screw it! its only 20 lbs in total so im still not doing badd.

6 weeks 6 days til c-section!
yay!

i almost threw up.
n now i dont want one.
but i have 2 have one..
im sure ill relax... but i didnt realize it was so gross!

3 days and counting but I reackon we can add another week to that, he's not playing ball at the moment and is still not engaged, we've got the hosp on Fri so hopefully the consultant will set a date around the 4-5th for induction if he doesn't decide to put in an appearance before then.
Hows Journey doing? Bet your like where has the last month gone can't wait to meet my little man. xx

***Top tip*** Have been recomended both by friends and my midwife to take Arnica a herbal remedy after the birth, it helps with swelling and brusing down there, in the UK you can find it in Boots. Have been told it works a treat taking it as per directions on packet for a week or so after giving birth. Labour dust to all and congrats again to those who have all ready giving birth. xx

heyy ladies.
had an ultrasound today..
things look good!

we figured out why im in so much pain...
this lil man changed positions...
so hes head down and pressing hard on cervix.

it even looked a bit open, but the lady said its not, its the way hes putting his head on my cervix... ugh! hes killing me slowly! ((sometimes im fine. others im in so much pain i have to grab onto something to walk or make sure i dont fall)) -its a bit frustrating!

8 weeks 5 days left. and hes only getting bigger! imagine! o myy!
prayy for me ladies.
i really think lil mans gonna want to make an early appearance. hopefully after christmas atleast. after 34 or 35 weeks i dont think its that big a deal ((right?))

i also read an article online about the steriods that they give premies ((for rapid lung development)) and they said it kills brain cells. so now im not gonna ask for it unless i start going into early labor. id like to be sure lil man has all his brain cells... ((specially since on his fathers side they're missing a few, - you wouldnt believe the calls ive been getting from him, and his mother! ugh! i just hang up n shut the fone off.. dont even stress it...))

im going to look for the article and post it.

hey ladiies
sorry i took so long

so i got to the hospital a bit before 5...
they checked the baby, monitored me.
determined i wasnt in labor ((which i already knew! duhh!))...

then they determined i wasnt dilating --also knew that.

n e ways... they said they werent sure what the pain was but if it gets worse 2 come bak!
im like hello! i came for u 2 tell me whats wrong... not whats not wrong! ugh!

i was so frustrated, it was like 7:30 when i left. had to pay 6 bux parking...n then i get home n realize they didnt give me bak my insurance card or my medicaid card! so i had to call the insurance co. ask for another card. n i been callin medicaid n the lines busy! ugh!

so im still in pain. they said i could take tylenol.. so i stopped at the gas station ((only had tylenol pm. so i took that last nite)) bought extra strength tylenol today. n ill take it if i need it.

ive got an ultrasound friday.
so i guess for now ill do my best to relax and take the Tylenol if needed. n if it gets worse ill go bak 2 the hospital!

((they did say i could take tylenol 3)) so i gotta find some! hmmmmmmm.......

i seen that huggies has a diaper thats low in the front for the umbilical cord not to be bothered. i think i might buy a small pack of those just until it falls out. but i think im gonna try the pampers diapers too.

i think im gonna buy all my diapers from one place so if i do have to make changes i can just get store credit. hopefully i'll find a diaper that works sooner rather then later.
