Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Hey,
I saw your question on medicine they put on your cervix to begin labor in the 40 week section. I had to be induced 4 weeks early (at nearly 36 weeks) with my second daughter due to medical reasons and instead of just starting Pitocin, they first put in Cervidil (the medicine that goes up behind your cervix) which is suppose to soften and ready your cervix up for further induction (like Pitocin). They told me hopefully it'll just throw me into labor without Pitocin and they could just take it out in the morning (had it put in at night) and let nature take its course. I got lucky and after they took out the Cervidil in the morning (I was only barely 2 cm's after it was taken out, it got me from 0 to 2 cm's from night until morning) I went into a regular labor pattern and it went fine from there with no Pitocin. My doctor said some people just need the medicine in the cervix to throw them into labor and some need the medicine and then the Pitocin. Sorry I wrote so much, just wanted to let you know about my induction story (of success lol). Hopefully you'll only need the medicine behind the cervix too!! Good luck!

That is what I hear, that you will not care when delivering. I would never want a video tape or mirror. Heck I don't even look at my chubby self in the mirror without a robe on- yuck. I am right with you- excited but scared....

kym22 - Friday, 14 November
Honestly i do not want to be in the room. I would really just rather wake up & be holding my baby. Its so embarrasing to me. And to have the entire family in there. Gezz, no way!!!!

kym22 - Friday, 14 November
I really would like to have this baby before THanksgiving. If I don;t i just know my water is going to break at a family thanksgiving dinner & everyone is going to freak out & want to go to the hospital with me. I only want my hubby & myself there. The others can come after the baby arrives!

kym22 - Thursday, 13 November
I appreciate it. It kills me not knowing. I am such a planned person & like to know what is going to happen & when. I really wish my doc would schedule an induction so i could hae everything planned out. I am having bad menstral like cramps but nothing regular or consistant. Just semi painful & irritating

That's what I think too! Of course, 20 minutes after I told you it wasn't in I got a phone call saying it'd be ready to be picked up tomorrow The store opens at 5:00am, so I guess we'll be going early Saturday morning to pick it up and get this mess taken care of! OH I can't WAIT to have my kitchen done!!!!!!!!!

MovingForward - Thursday, 30 October
Haha...no. LOL That's great that your project is coming to a close - must feel good, huh?

MovingForward - Wednesday, 29 October
Aww, thank you! I'm back at work today and baby seems to be doing okay, so that's a good thing. I'm just tired, but at least I made it through the day! How's your kitchen coming along?

surprise3 - Tuesday, 28 October

MovingForward - Monday, 27 October
OMG - that's crazy! And funny too :P I'm sorry you had some stupid kid break into your office, but at least he was kind enough to wait around for the cops! LOL

MovingForward - Friday, 24 October
Haha...I just got off the phone arguing with the counter manufacturers and the place we ordered them from. When we ordered them (10/8) we were told to expect them in 7-10 days. Then last weekend we were told that the date had been changed to 10/31. What? Okay...so then I start getting calls from the manufacturer verifying stuff and saying it'll be ready this week. Now I call the store and it's not ready yet. Plus there was someone who had cancelled our order and put it in two weeks later (hence the new pick up date). THEN I call the manufacturer to find out why it was cancelled (someone sent them the WRONG order), they're waiting on materials and, oh by the way, we are expected to drive an hour to pick it up from THERE! I finally got the store we ordered it from to agree to pick it up for us for free and we'll get it next weekend (supposedly). What a freaking mess. And because of all these hormones all I wanted to do was just cry when I was yelling at the store manager I hope your hubby doesn't give you THAT much grief when you ask him to put your cabinets up Thanks for listening

MovingForward - Thursday, 23 October
Oh, so you always do home improvement projects at 8.5 months pregnant. You should be used to it by now LOL. I would NOT appreciate sleeping on the floor on a mattress right now. It's hard enough sleeping on a BED right now!

MovingForward - Thursday, 23 October
Yeah, our house is still a disaster! My husband is a neat freak (I know, crazy right?) and just can't stand the dust and mess any longer. I hate it too, but I don't see any reason to clean it until we're done with the kitchen. Hopefully our counters come in today. We'll get that knocked out this weekend and then be able to put everything away (all our stuff is in the dining room - annoying!) and CLEAN! This remodeling business is such a mess, isn't it??

Deborah Kurczek - Monday, 13 October
Yes, of course he wasn't in, so I spoke with his nurse, and she relayed the message. I'm not sure what transpired, but a found a message Friday, stating that she had "good news." I'm sorry about your allergies. I went though that 1st trimester, with asthma attacks nearly every night, until doc put me on Advair and Allegra. I really hope all goes well on Wednesday. I wish I could stop peeing every 1-2 hours. You take care of yourself as well! Lots of love and luck, Deb

NatalieF - Saturday, 11 October
Thanks for your message! IT really helps to hear that people have been through this and that everything turned out fine! Good luck!

Thank you so much for your concern and congrats! Yeah, the heart thing is weird. It's actually happening right now and today when I took a nap. I've taken to sleeping downstairs because I can't handle going up and down our old steep staircase all night going to the bathroom. Besides setting off my heart rate, I've tripped twice and landed on my knees. The second time was about a week ago, and I got a big gash in my knee, which still is bruised and hurts very badly. I try to sleep upstairs on the weekends, when my husband is off, but usually end up climbing in downstairs with my daughter around 5 in the morning, because that's when the peeing is really bad. Today I just laid in bed and cried for half an hour because I can't breath and my pelvic muscles hurt so badly. My hubby was home from work, and he's like "That's right sweetheart, let it all out, scream if you have too." I said "Like you would know! You're a man!" This probably wasn't the best way to respond, but I was frustrated and pissed. He did go to the store and is making me taco salad right now, so I feel kind of badly. Damm hormones.

Deborah Kurczek - Thursday, 9 October
Good news! I passed my GD test. The doctor said that I was only 8 points above normal on one blood draw, but the other two were within normal range. He just said my pancreas has probably slowed down with insulin production right now, but he's not too concerned. He just told me to watch my sugars and carbs. I'm so relieved. My thyroid is a little on the hyper side, but still within normal range. One thing that's strange though, often when I lie down my heart starts beating rapidly, which lasts for an hour or more. Last night, I had an episode during which my heart rate was fast, and I could not catch my breath for like 15 minutes. I told my nurse, but she's not sure what that's all about.
