hey deb i miss u so much girl well my baby was in the hospital for 4 days he had rsv some virus in his lungs. he is better now i did participate in some reasearch hey took a sample of his bugers they said they were going to freeze them and test them so maybe they might find a cure one day. but my baby still crys a whole lot at night. i had to stop breast feeding since im on antibotics, and vicodine on dec 8 they tell me when im getting my other biopsy! so im scared but its for the best for my kidneys. well i have a computer at home but they are fixing it so thats great i get to talk to u more. but i dont have an account on facebook. but when my computer gets fixed then ill up load pictuers on here. thats so cool ur baby is sleeping thats what i need zzzzz!!! awww u cut his hair! well it will grow back i cant wait to cut my sons he looks alot like his dad and his dad gets fades so he wants to cut it. well girl god bless i love u take care!!! :

LOL @ Stephen Harper! Didn't think of that! Harper means: Harpist or Minstrel. My husband and his family are very musically talented and we're hoping, but not expecting, she may be too??? My husband has always loved the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" and even suggested the name "Scout" which I poo-poo'd! Instead he suggested Harper....as in Harper Lee...the female author of this famous book. Thanks for your comment though....
PS... I very much loved your entire birth story and much of what you have posted. I printed it all off!!! I'm reading Ina May's book and plan to review "What to pack for the hospital" PRiceless info!!!

Hi Debra. I appreciate your RN expertise (really) in regards to my possible pre-eclampsia. Honestly I have decided not to stress about it. I decided if the NP was really concerned she would not have asked me to wait 2 weeks till my next appointment. Also I have NO other symptoms of pre-eclampsia. I've always had a BP that runs high but never been dx'd with HBP or medicated for it. I've always controlled it with diet and exercise. I feel good overall and I know worry will only make it worse. Also, I did end up getting a flu shot from my employer so thats all set and as for the blotchy areas on my legs... I showed the nurses I work with and they said it looked more like a pigment issue than a rash. Any ideas? Its the entire lower extremity. Starts just after my bum and goes to my ankles. I may take a picture of it to post and if I do I'll send you a message so you can see it. Thanks for your help. Only a few more weeks and I can't wait!!!

Hello everyone!

Quick question...Emilie is eating 3-4oz every 2 hours still which means she's eating over 40oz a day sometimes. Have any of your pediatricians said it's ok to give them like a teaspoon of cereal in their bottles...especially at night so they'll sleep thru?

i thought this would be easier than telling everyone, one at a time! we had "the really big" US today- and all baby parts are accounted for... and it's confirmed: NO INTESTINES in the amniotic fluid this time

also... IT'S A FRIGGIN GIRL!!! who knew!?!?! everything pointed towards boy- but i have a VERY distinct picture of our girl's three little lines. i guess our normal OB was WRONG! weeeee!
soooo, now im going to join the rest of the preggy world and be happy!!! thanks for being so kind to me during my last pregnancy, and for being so optimistic for us :D

Thanks for the comment- his head is turned to the right in the bottom picture- he wasnt looking straight ahead. i would definitely d o the helmet if his features werent aligned, but they measured everything at the specialist and said his alignment is fine. i should have clarified on my pictures. i will post the professional ones the specialist took!!

Just an update, My baby ticker says that at 29 weeks baby should be nearly 3 lbs. Ha ha. I had my appointment two weeks ago and my baby girl weighed in at 2 lbs 4 oz. 11-12-08 she is weighing in at 3 lbs 4 oz, :)

The doc says at this rate she could be a
7 1/2 - 8 lb baby... Wish me luck ladies.
