I have--That book is my bible! It gave me so much peace to have read it, and then a few really good meetings with the midwives--I feel like I'm in a good position now. So different from the midwives I had with my first pregnancy. Everytime I see a question posted about this topic, I picture a deer laboring in the woods and an off-season hunter walking by to disrupt her calm. tsk tsk!

UPDATE ON OUR DOG:Thanks so much to everyone that commented on Pulver our dog. We had a lot of possible buyers, and or takers. However with every text or phone call that I got, Brandans heart would break a little more. He was soooo incredibly sad, I mean he seemed like a different person! So Saturday we went to his moms house after going to the block of Orange to walk around and ponder what to do. He went out back to spend time with Pulver, and his dad fallowed. About 15 minutes later his dad walked in and said “Nan, your son doesn’t want to get rid of his dog.” She says… “I know, but I don’t want to be responsible if he falls and drowns in the pool.” He says… “I don’t want to get rid of him eather.” So after a little scuffle back and forth, Brandan got what he wanted! He gets to keep Pulver.

I’m so glad that he didn’t have to go through the pain of losing him. I know what it feels like I had to give up my American Bull dog. THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD. And to this day it’s still hard for me. If I ever found her I would snatch her from her owners! Ha ha. (Turned out that the person I GAVE her to sold her for $500.
00 to some crack head! UGH sucks)

SO thanks again! I REALLY Appreciate it!

Hey ladies! thanks for commenting on my blog about my yorkie bella! yes the only reason she is at my grandparents is because of the potty training but my grandpa is going to try to train her so she can come back soon :) I cry alot because I miss her so much but I go visit with her everyday! i have pictures on my myspace rvelasquez99@yahoo.com ill add you. well i had him at 12:30 so i was in labor for about 7 hours i just remember breathing thinking postive fpr every contraction ill jus pray and thank god that my son was coming. when it was time to push that was the hardest part!!!! when i finally got the head out i couldnt do it any more i started crying and then i was choking him so my dr managed to pull his little body out my dude was supposed to cut the cord but the baby was blue because i had suffocated him i remember they put him all gooey and bloody on my stomach my hands were numb from holding my legs to push. my dude fainted and cried!! when they druged me i called my mother in law and my sister in law when they got there i had totally forgot that i had called them butthey helped me breath and push and my mother in law helped my dude to be strong becuase he was jus so emotional! the nurses were super nice i had two holding my legs till they saw the hair of the baby then the dr came in. he was the dr in call becuase my dr was delivering his wife. he put alot of jelly so i would not tear which i didnt. everyone was so proud of me they said they had never seen a fisrt time mother be so calm they said i did great i ow u great thanks because u helped me out so much. i had u in mind thw whole time. the best thing was i didnt need any meds to be induced he came out by himself. he weighed 5 pounds 7 oz and was 18 in length. when they cleaned him they made foot prints on a scrub and gave it to my dude as a memory. i tried breast feeding but my nipples are flat so i have to pump all day i need something to make more milk i do drink alot of fluids and eat well but i only make enough milk for the feeding i never make extra. i wish i could. and i lost 28 pounds already i still need 30 to go to get to my weight. any tips??? he does not sleep at night girl only in the day i need help to make him sleep at night any tips???? well girl thanks for reading take care i love u girl

Thanks for the advice:) The crib is actually in the room with us and is literally 3 feet away. I noticed when he sleeps with me he likes to be on his side and when I put him in his crib I put him on his back....so maybe that has something to do with it.

thank you for your reply i feel it will be safer to have another section before the baby gets to big i just have to hope my hubby is back he is in the army and leaves for iraq in 3 weeks for 6 months, we are based in germany at the moment so that i am pleased about as the health care here is a lot better than england
