oh my GOD why in the hell do they still use that stuff on women??? thanks so much for telling me im gonna write the name of it down and tell my dr i dont want it!! but he said something about a drop that is put i guess in the iv. but yea thanks so much for telling me!! im still a little sick can i still breast feed even though im sick? well actually i didnt know i was having contractions! the dr felt my stomach harden and said thats a contraction, i was like no shit?? it dont hurt girl it jus feels like a hard pressure and i cant walk since it gets hard but its no pain. but they went away. i get them maybe one every hour or two. but im not worried about it. i think when i have the braxton contractions those hurt like hell but not these. i dunno its wierd. i do feel really tired and clumpsy. my boss said not to come to work anymore he is scared that im going to have bad contractions here at work so i guess no more work for me. im really gonna miss u because i dont have a computer at home but ill probably come visit and jus text u when im here. girl let me tell u that yesterday when the contractions got worse i went home early i called my dude to pick me up and he said i have one last mission to pass on the play station ill be there in a little bit. i was if u dont get ur ass here in 2 minutes im a kick ur ass!! i cant believe he wanted to pass the mission first!! lol i love him to death but sometimes he is slow.

well at least im glad that i can drink gaterade!! i do feel better i went to buy a humidifyer, i still have phlem but no head ache! thank God because that was what hurt the worst. man girl u have no idea what happen to me this morning! well i woke up at like 9 in the morning and my dude wanted to have sex so we did i took a shower and i was sure everything came out. well i get dressed ready for work my dude was driving me to work when all of a sudden i wet my pants i jus felt really warm liquid so i had to go home and change my undies and pants. i get to work and im still leaking so i had one of my co workers take me to my dr office. he stuck a strip in me it did not turn blue so he said its not the babys water but then he felt my stomach it got real hard and he says that it was a contraction. so jus to time them, but the funny thing is that it dont hurt it jus feels really hard like tightning. so im at work now. i really dont want to have it right now, i guess i had everything already planned in my mind u know. ok and about the medication u said for them not to use what do i ask for instead? why whats wrong with cytotec? i dont even know what its for but ok lol

yes, jacob is exclusively breastfed, so i do wonder about whether he is waking just to have a close snuggle with me (and a nice warm drink wouldnt go astray either), rather than him being actually hungry-but then he has been spitting up so much, i dont like to say he cant have the extra either, just in case he needs it....
i have noticed though, if his day time naps are disturbed, he does not sleep as well at night.
i have tried some other soothing methods, like putting my had on his chest (this works during the day, but not as well at night) i have given him a dummy, but i dont like to do this as i dont want him to be dependent on it, my daughter was and it was horrid, she would wake several times a night because it had fallen out and she could not locate it.
so jacob co-sleeps, he has a 'tetra snugglebed' which is a little bed, kind of like a moses basket with softer sides, which is on our bed, so although i am used to his noises, he does wake me easily, maybe if he were in his own room he would sleep better? -my husband isnt keen on him moving out though, he says the bub is too little, and needs to stay close.
jacob does sleep well the rest of the time though, he will put himself off to sleep, i wait till he is looking tired and put him down to sleep then- i am very conscious of altering his sleep ques by rocking/holding/feeding to sleep. its just this night time thing i cant seem to work out.

thanks for your advice about jacobs sleeping patterns. he does have a gas problem, and tends to spit up a huge amount of his milk, so i did wonder if he was needing the extra nutrition during the night, since he doesnt tend to spit up at night. we had been giving him gripe water, but found it isnt very effective, so now we are giving him infacol wind drops, which seem to work better. he weighs 6.3kgs, im not sure what this is in pounds, but he is a nice sized baby, 60cm long. i have posted some pics taken a few days ago, if you could guess from those, im not sure, but he certainly isnt starving my mother suggested i give him solids-i was horrified, hes only 11 weeks!! they sure did things differently back in her day! thanks for answering, its much appreciated!!
