Sue-this is what i found on Medicinenet.com...Therefore, all pregnant women who are living in or traveling to a malaria-risk area should consult a doctor and take prescription drugs (for example, sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine) to avoid contracting malaria. Treatment of malaria in the pregnant female is similar to the usual treatment described above; however, drugs such as primaquine (Primaquine), tetracycline (Achromycin, Sumycin), doxycycline, and halofantrine (Halfan) are not recommended as they may harm the fetus. In addition to monitoring the patient for anemia, an OB-GYN specialist is consulted for further management.

Doing good here..trying to enjoy a little bit of the honeymoon phase..been doing lots of cleaning..even though I'm not even 1/2 way done I have this fear I am going to run out of time and not have everything the way I want it to be when baby comes home..I am glad to know I am having a girl (which many ladies in April seem to be having) so now I am also shopping in between everything else FUN FUN FUN
