Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Hey u all, I was putting some vacation packages on the craigslist for sale since hubby and I cannot use them by June. I have 3 Days /2 nights Orlando, and one also in Daytona beach. Then I have a bahamas package for freeport. I took the bahamas package a few years ago and loved it. I will not be able to take anything with finances the way they are and the baby coming. I would love to see some new pictures of Luke too. I bet he's growing fast. It seems like they change so much in the first few months.......go from that "newborn" look, to looking like a baby. That didn't really come out right, but I hope you know what I mean!

Well, I read the FAQ section that came with the monitor and it said that if it reads "peak" fertility with no "high" reading, then it probably didn't detect a rise in estrogen, or that possibly the estrogen and LH levels rose at the same time. It didn't say if that was bad news or not when that happens. Who knows, anyway it doesn't matter, AF started yesterday, so now we enter our 15th month of trying. My husbands kids leave next Wed, I know I sound selfish saying this, but I can't hardly wait!! I'm mentally X'ing off the days on the calendar! I just want to do the IUI so bad, I feel like it won't happen unless we get some outside help. Anyway, one more week and I will let you know what he says. Also, yes, he did have a reversal done in March 2007 and we had a seman analysis done last Sept or Oct (I don't remember exactly), but everything was great with him. We only had the one done though, and I wonder if maybe he needs to have another one done, just to make sure that no scar tissue has built up. The Dr. had mentioned it, but said that it wouldn't be necessary, because with the IUI, they have to do an analysis at the time of insemination, so he would know then, if everything was still OK. I just don't want to fight/argue about this with him.......pray that it doesn't turn into that!
I'm glad that Luke's baptism turned out nice. I wonder what he was thinking when they held him up and everyone clapped. As you know, I work around babies all the time at work, and one of the things that I always look at is their expressions. They are so funny, I'm always asking them "What are you thinking about?" (of course they don't answer me! ha ha) I just know that they have thoughts going on in their heads! They can be such funny little people. I'm sure that Luke is starting to get his own personality too. I'm sorry that he has to wait until he's 10 months old to have his surgery. I haven't heard of Pierre Robin sequence.....I'm glad that he doesn't have that. It sounds like once he gets his palate fixed, he'll be good to go (I know that he will probably have to relearn how to eat a little, but that should be easy for him). My friends baby was born with a cleft lip and after his surgery, she said that it took him a very short time to figure out how to breast feed again, but he got it down, as I'm sure that Luke will too. I'm glad that you get to take so much time off to be with him. When my turn comes, I plan on taking 12 weeks off (that is the max of what is allowed here). I already have the time saved up, so now all I need is a reason to use it!! I will keep in touch with you on what happens. As for the time being, I will reset my monitor back to day 1 and start over. I am off work now for 2 weeks and will probably ovulate during that time, which will be good. Maybe this will be our month? Well, I hope you're having a good summer, we have a garden going that has produced several strawberries, about two tomatoes, no zucchini, no pumpkin, and no watermelon!! Maybe I can offer it a little TLC while I'm off! It's pretty pathetic. Alright, talk to you later. ~Tonya

Hi Jen, how was Luke's baptism? I hope it was a great day for everyone! I would love to see some new pictures of him. Did your 16 yr old get his license? What an exciting time for him and a scary time for you! I remember getting mine, it just makes you feel so free! I have been using the ovulation monitor this month. It's weird, it says that it goes from being "low" fertility to "high" fertility to "peak" fertility. Well, I've been testing and it went from low fertility to peak fertility..........what happened to the high fertility?? Now I'm really confused. I'm only on CD12 too, so I just don't know. This was supposed to help me, not confuse me even more! I'm going to call the 800 number on the box and ask them if that's normal and if so, what does it mean. Anyway, nothing else going on here. Only about 2 1/2 wks until my husbands kids go home and I get to bring up the subject of babies again. Oh boy, I'm sure he knows it's coming... I hope you're having a great summer and I will talk to you soon. ~Tonya

Hi Jen, I'm so glad to hear that things are getting better. It's funny to think, but one day (when he's a teenager) you'll be wondering "Will this kid ever stop eating?!" ha ha Well, my husbands kids are here now (his daughter is 16yr old and his son is 17 yr old). They will be here until the last Sat. in July,...5 wks!! It's been hard, but I guess I'll get through it! Maybe I'll work some overtime shifts at work! Yes, I do have the electronic monitor, I ordered it online for $185 and it came with the sticks and a pack of batteries too! I will use it this time. I've been using the dip stick ones & have always gotten a positive, so maybe this is just a waste of time/money, but I had to try it or else I'd always wonder. I guess it just gives you more days warning, as it detect your LH surge and also a rise in estrogen? ....I'm not sure on that last one, I'd have to read the box again, but anyway, I know that it detects two different hormones. I took Clomid this last month, but I won't take it anymore, my OB/GYN doesn't think that it will help,since I am ovulating, and also since I've taken it for 3 months and nothing has happened. Also, the last two months that I've taken it, I've felt so bad....maybe because of it? I don't know for sure, but I think so. Just lots of abd pain/discomfort.

I wish I was having him right now. :( I"m still having contractions. Usually every 20-30 min. but sometimes they'll stop for a few hours and then every once in a while I'll have some more pink "show". Grrrr....I go to the doctors today and I hope she says something useful.

I wish you were right. I went to the hospital and I'm only 1-2cm. The contractions are still coming, but a little irregular. Now I just wait! :(

Hi Jennifer! Sorry it's been so long, I've just been so busy and then I had to go to Vegas for a couple of days (not for fun, union stuff for work). Finally, I'm back home! It sounds like you've had it with being pregnant! I'm sorry that you are feeling so uncomfortable. It seems to be what most people complain about.....those last few weeks must be really difficult. Only a week and a half until he's here! Sorry....I'm sure you're sick of hearing that!
Well, I struck out again this month. I got my period right on schedule. I guess I should be glad that I'm not like some of these women on here. A lot of them are late by a day or two and aren't pregnant. They get their hopes up only to be let down. I'm like clock work! I thought that we did everything right, but still no luck. :( I'm sad, of course, but still trying to staying positive and keep praying! I will go to my appt on May 8 and see what comes next. Thanks for telling me about what vitamins you were taking. I bought some folic acid and started taking that (800mcg) along with what is in my MVI. Maybe the infertility Dr will want to start me on the prenatal vits? We'll see....

Thank you for your comment. I'm trying to determine if when I get these cramps if my uterus seems to get hard. I just can't really tell. There's so much going on in there! It's hard for me to distinguish hardening of the uterus from just baby pressing against it.
