nmck - Monday, 21 July What a great looking family!!!
babyjayden - Thursday, 17 July Hello, I noticed that my son would quit breathing and then all the sudden he was gasping for air. I found myself saying breathe and patting him on the back. We went to the dr and she thought it was reflux but I just didn't think that was right because he wasn't fussy or spitting up. So she then suggested an apnea test, well it came back abnormal and he was on the apnea monitor at night for awhile. He has now grown out of it and is so healthy! If you have any more questions feel free to ask. Have a good night.
weenerh - Wednesday, 2 July Thank you for the pics. It surely is a sight for sore eyes. Hope you guys had fun. Was that your first time going? How long of a drive was it for you?
weenerh - Tuesday, 1 July did you take pictures of canada? would love to see some, I am so homesick. Glad your trip with a one month old was successful.
cami695 - Saturday, 21 June I just read your question about cold breast milk. I am exclusively breastfeeding. When my mom watches my daughter she never heats my bm. She drinks it cold straight from the frig. Every baby is different but her dr said that there is not any harm in serving it cold. Hope this helps :)
weenerh - Friday, 20 June I am so jealous you are going to Niagara Falls. I'm originally from Canada but have been in the states for 12 years. I haven't been to Niagara Falls in about 5 years now and miss it greatly. I hope you have fun. As far as the car trip, your baby will do just fine. When my son was 6 weeks old, we drove from Colorado to South Dakota which is a 12 hour drive, then the next day we drove to Chicago which is another 8 hour trip for my brother-in-laws wedding. Then back to south dakota and back to Colorado. My son did amazing. We just stopped every couple of hours and fed him and changed him and let him stretch his legs. There were a few times that I had to get in back with him and burp him real quick and put him back in his seat but he was amazing. This is the best time for them to travel. My son still does amazing in the car for 12 hours or more. Even when we drove back to canada, he did amazing and he's only 3. Hope my rambling helped a little.
breezee - Friday, 20 June Just give it time and be persistant, she will probably hate it at first but after about 3 weeks to a month she should take it without problem, mine would scream everytime I would give it to her, and we would try again until she was screaming so loud our ears were hurting, we would give up and try again the next day and eventually she just got used to it.
HaveFaith050108 - Friday, 20 June Just read your post in the 1 month chatroom and I just recently introduced a bottle to my daughter Kamryn. I used the Avent bottles since they have a wide nipple just like the breast and they worked best for her. With those, she had no problem going back and forth from the breast to the nipple....Good Luck!
brandymomof2 - Friday, 20 June hi i saw your post about the bottle and i started the same last week the pediatritian recomended I use the nuk orthapedic bottles and pacifiers they are the closest thing on the market to the nipple and as far as introducing it it wasnt hard for me at all he just took it like a charm so i really dont know about that
treasa - Friday, 20 June hey girl i use the playtex drop ins with the slow flow nipple when i am not breastfeeding and my husband wants to feed him and they work great.
margysd - Thursday, 19 June The first few days have been wonderful. We are working of getting on a feeding a sleeping schedule.
christilynn - Thursday, 19 June he took to it right away. I gave him a bottle of formula the day I got home from the hospital. my milk hadn't come in and I needed to give him something. he was really unhappy with the formulaso I haven't used any since. get a good pump and just give it a try. good luck!
mom2boy - Wednesday, 18 June Yeah it does get pretty warm but that is a concern with any wrap. Stick to a lighter color, I got dark brown and that gets warm but I just dress him down.

andreacoleman - Tuesday, 17 June I am doing both and I use Dr Brown Bottles they are great with keeping air out. aso I use the bottles that go with my evenflo breast pump. The nimples are shorter more like ours. Hopes this helps.
margysd - Tuesday, 17 June Dear Friends, I had my beautiful daughter, Elsa Shannon on Friday. She was 7.4 pounds, 19.5 inches. We feel so happy and very blessed to have her. Paul posted our birth story, and we will post pictures on our page soon. Thanks so much for all of the lovely graphics, and well wishes that you posted on my page. I really appreciate all of the support.
mommyx2 - Friday, 13 June i saw your post about the car thing...we bought a 2004 mazda 6 sport (not the wagon type) a few months ago and absolutly love it...it looks small but when you sit in it you have lots of room and it is a 4 door so that makes it super easy for kids and the trunk is a hatchback so its a lot bigger than most car trunks...i can fit our double stroller plus groceries with lots of room to spare...i love it!
