Love the 3D pics, He's sooo adorable!!! I am so ready to have my little guy!! I can't wait until I'm posting pics of him instead of the belly. And I can't wait to be able to walk normally again, I'm sick of waddling around like a duck!

How are you getting along? I see you met with the dietician. How are you doing with the GD? I had a couple high readings 2 weeks ago, but last week my readings were perfect. By high readings, they were only in the 150s, but my dietician did not like that :(. I am so ready to have this baby and eat Olive Garden, chocolate milk, and cake/cookies haha.

How did your baby shower go? Did you get lots of great stuff? I had 3 showers and they were amazing. I basically got everything I registered for. I just had to buy the swing, high chair, and stroller system. I ended up with a TON of diapers/wipes too!!

Hope you are having a great week!

boystruckx2 - Saturday, 13 September

At your next ultrasound...LOL...tell them you see a spot.....lol see if it works...LOL :)

Im curious to what they are gonna estimate your little man to weigh at your next ultrasound. Do you know when it is yet?

boystruckx2 - Friday, 5 September
How in the world did your sister get an ultrasound every week!!! I actually have a friend on here whose doctor does one every visit. Because thats how he does it.....I was thinkin...bitch. lol NO just joking.

Because I didn't gain hardly any weight and I was all belly. plus everytime the did an ultrasound the measurements they were getting were small. Can you believe they actually had me thinking that I needed to buy preemie stuff. I am SO glad I didn't!!

boystruckx2 - Thursday, 4 September
Well at least you do get another one :) Screw them damn doctors..lol

With Mason I had . . .
11 weeks
28 weeks They were both typical

With Sean I had . . .
13 weeks (typical)
22 weeks (typical)
29 weeks (because they couldn't see some important things in the last ultrasound) This was the best one
35 weeks (because he was supposedly so small )

I am really not sure about sugar alcohol in products. I would think it would be ok. I haven't had any high readings as long as I watch my carb intake. My dietician really has me focused on counting carbs, not sugars. So I don't know what the limit on sugar is a day. I did eat a couple of mini candy bars last night, and my blood sugar levels were on the higher end of normal, so it obviously affected it.

hi! I dont mind at all. i got it from Dorothy Perkins. not sure if you have them or not in America. it was in the sale too! ha. hows it going??

Heya hunny congratz on ur pregnancy xoxo.

How are you getting along? Did you find lots of yummy food you can eat at the grocery store? It is funny.. a few weeks ago my cart was full of junk.. candy, muffins, ice cream, pasta, and other carbs. Now.. salad, fruits, meats. Haha.. kinda sad actually!!

As for Olive Garden, I would be careful with all the bread, pasta, and cake. I know I am craving Olive Garden and I told my hubby he is bringing me Olive Garden to go when I am in the hospital after this baby is born!! If you want some cake, I would just eat salad, maybe their Minestrone or veggie soup, and a breadstick. If you eat pasta, bread, and cake.. that is alot of carbs. I think a small piece of cake with frosting is 30 grams of carbs (2 servings) and small piece without frosting is 15 grams of carbs (1 serving).

I go for my next ultrasound next week.. I am worried about how big my baby is!! Hopefully I get good news on that! My doctor told me if I control my blood sugars, then the baby's blood sugars will most likely be normal. And that means he would be a normal sized baby. But if I let my blood sugars get too high, then my baby will store extra fat and be bigger. Have you started testing your blood sugars yet?

mamacakes - Tuesday, 2 September
sorry its taken me so long to get back to you...ive been nesting...lol...anyhow...heres some meals that i eat...

BREAKFAST:
2 slices of weight watchers whole wheat bread toasted, w/little bit of fat free or low fat butter or margarine, 1 packet of splenda split between the two pieces of toast and as much cinnamon as you like and there you have cinnamon toast! MMMMMMmmm good for a sweet tooth and if your not that hungry..lol

OR

if your real hungry this works REAL well...

same bread toasted, top with scrambeled eggs that have cheese melted ontop and use salt and pepper to taste. YUM!

LUNCH:
Same bread..lol....with Skippy ALl Natural Peanut Butter and grape jam and a green granny smith apple on the side.

OR

Same bread....lol...with turkey cold cuts, mayo and lettuce and a green granny smith apple on the side. (you can substitute the bread for a whole wheat wrap if you want)

OR

Same bread or wrap with chicken salad and a green granny smith apple on the side.

All other fruits contain way too much sugar so really thats the one to stick with i have discovered. I eat tons of them..lol

ok now DINNER:
Grilled skinless chicken breast with 2/3 cup of whole wheat pasta and as much sauce as you like. And a big tossed salad with any dressing..i use regular ranch and dont have a prob. and drink lots of water while eating too.

OR

a cheeseburger (grilled) made with 93% lean meat on a whole wheat bun. you can have ketchup on it, just not alot. With 1/3 cup baked beans and a big tossed salad and lots of water to drink.

OR

London Broil (grilled) with 2/3 cup of any potatoe or rice. ( i really like the little baby red potatoes boiled with salt and pepper on them) lol and either steamed broccolli or califlower (no limit) and a big side salad again and lots of water..lol..

Key things to remember:
*beef and chicken as long as its lean and grilled, you can have as much as you want...

*Veggies like string beans, califlower, brocolli, squash, tomatoes, lettuce/salad, onions, peppers etc. you can have as much as you want...

*your carbs/starches such as potatoes, rice, pasta, bread baked beans, corn....typically you are allowed 2 servings at lunch and dinner. 1 serving is 1/3 a cup.

I hope this helps..let me know how your numbers are. GOOD LUCK! XXX

boystruckx2 - Tuesday, 2 September
Although...ultrasounds apparently are not always right guessing weight either. Look how bad they messed up on Sean. If you remember he was supposed to be maybe 7 pounds...and he came out 8.9. LOL

Ya know my friend was due the day after me with a lil girl and she ended up going a week late on May 3rd. Her baby...NO LIE....weighed 10 pounds 14 ounces!!! lol BIG BABY GIRL :) But now she is just this long lean thing.

Its not that you CANT eat sweets now, its just got to be more of a moderation thing. So Save all your SWEET points so that you can have that piece of cake at the baby shower and forth. When is your baby shower?

heaven - Monday, 1 September
i dont even have pictures of what mine would like it but i hope its good. for what i'm paying it better be good! haha

heaven - Monday, 1 September
oh your cake is going to be beautiful! and hopefully they will make it with splenda! i love the idea :-)

heaven - Monday, 1 September
sorry to hear that you failed your glucose test. just be strong and know its for your son. i spent a lot of money on my baby shower cake too. 200 bucks. what is your cake look like? mine is a 3D cake in shape of a giant cupcake

boystruckx2 - Monday, 1 September
Okay slow down lil momma :) Take a deep breath. Testing your blood sugar will be good to make sure you all are both okay. Now as far as him being 2 weeks bigger than he is supposed to be . . . they are just measuring your uterus....Not the baby. Your baby may not be that big. So this will grant you another ultrasound...possibly two more. Thats a plus....and I am a firm believer of THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BIG BABIES...lol :)

I know it sucks....I have not gone through it...but I can see. Just be happy they caught it...so now there can be no harm done to you or your little man :)
