lh0407 - Saturday, 9 Feb I found out that i am having a girl!!
kara8385 - Wednesday, 6 Feb I know some people don't get u/s alot her in America, I am thankful that I go to a doctor who has an u/s machine right in her office and I get to see the baby everytime I go. I love it. They usualy give me 2 new pictures also, last time they gave me 6. It was so awesome. So some people depending on their doc might get to see the little one every doctors visit.
We usually have just 2 scans here in UK.. one at 12 weeks and the oher one at 20 weeks... after that u just wait to see ur child in the real world only.. :)
lh0407 - Wednesday, 6 Feb Hey I am from America and Usually they only do about 2 or 3 ultrasounds during your whole pregnancy unless you are high risk plus you have the option to do a 3d/4d ultrasound but you have to pay for that one because insurance doesnt cover it. If they are un able to tell the sex at 20 weeks then they usually let you have another ultrasound later to try and find out. It all depends on the doc office.
sexymama021 - Wednesday, 6 Feb I've had 3 so far. One at 7 wks to check my dates, one at 12 weeks (no heartbeat detected, but she was wiggling like crazy in there!) and one at 18 wks. I will have one more at least because they didn't get some pics of her at my 18 wk one. She was being sleepy! :) I only had 1 though with my first two pg. Both at 20 weeks.
catsa79 - Tuesday, 5 Feb thanks for your comment!! cat
tracmac - Tuesday, 5 Feb Hi firstbub! Yes, it has been really hot in Melbourne, really humid. I am already feeling extra hot due to the bub, and I hear ya, bring on winter! To top it off, my air conditioner in the car needs regassing, so I have been whinging my head off to my husband, so hopefully we get that fixed soon. So happy for you and your first pregnancy! This is my third, but with the age gaps with our other two it feels like I am a first time mum. All pregnancies are different, so I have been glued to this site just to feel normal. Cant wait for my scan in two weeks ( 12 week one ). Good luck Emma, hey and message me anytime, its ace to hear from another Aussie. I think the girls are mostly in America by the sounds of it. Cheers!
BreeCole - Tuesday, 5 Feb people say i dont look as big as far as i am but I've had to wear maternity since like 12 or 14 weeks. its ridiculous. but its soooo low i hate it.

ozbaby - Sunday, 27 Jan Hi. Thanks for your message on lying on your back. I hadnt read anything about it and all these American mums keep saying how dangerous it is. I figured if it was that dangerous we would know about it. this is my 3rd and i didnt know. Anyway i agree that sleeping on your stomach would be much worse and totally uncomfortable! I dont have any symptoms so i am not too worried. Ill check with the Dr when i have my u/sound on Tuesday.
