Thank you for answering my question, you've given me a little bit of hope. I know my dates are right, but I guess stranger things happen, and it's far better than the alternative. It will be another week of blood tests and another ultrasound next Thursday before I know anything. A whole week of waiting, not knowing whether my baby is alive or not. The doctor did tell me to prepare for the worst, so the week is going to be rough.

Hi friends! I just wanted to let you all know that I am being induced tomorrow morning at 5:00am (Mountain Time...I think...AZ is weird with the time zones

). As of this evening I am dilated to 3 cm and 50% effaced, though baby is not engaged. Will let you all know how it goes! Please keep us in your prayers.

LOL, thanks. Yes, considering he was born at 37 weeks he was quite chunky at exactly 8lbs. Didn't expect him to be that big at all. Neither did the doc or the u/s technicians. He did loose quite a bit in his 4 days at the hospital, but has gained it back.....nonetheless, he doesn't have those cheeks any more. Not sure, but maybe the steroids made him so puffy?? Can't wait to see pics of your little man!!!

Oh my goodness! im sorry to hear that. As if you arent uncomfortable enough and then have to deal with something like that.
Garys (my husband) parents have been helping me quite a bit as far as readying the house since my back is killing me and i cant hardly move without help right now and theyve had to stay away for a few days because theyre both very sick with diarrhea and vomiting to the point they are dehydrated as well. So there must be something going around which is horrible right when our babies are about to be born. I plan on breastfeeding so he will atleast have some of MY immunity which is generally pretty strong.
If you dont mind me asking, Do you plan on breastfeeding?
