Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.
Harpchick - Wednesday, 3 December Dear ones, just a quick note to say Tiana has arrived! 10:46 this morning EST; 7lbs 11oz, 21" long with lovely red hair. It was a more complicated delivery than we had hoped, and required me being knocked out with general anesthesia. They decided not to risk either a spinal or an epidural because of my unstable spine; this in the end I missed the birth and Bob was not allowed in either-- bummer! There was an awful lot of scar tissue that caused problems getting inside, and then Tiana was stuck and they literally couldn't get her out for quite a while, which resulted in some extreme roughness when they started to worry, so they've warned me to expect a slow recovery, but Tiana is just perfect so we're delighted. Very tired from the meds but ill write more soon when I'm more coherent and ok my laptop and not my iPhone! Thank you all for your kind wishes-- hugs to you all twice over!
35Npregnant - Tuesday, 2 December Check out my "Baby Love" photo.... My husband was Van Gogh this weekend so he painted me! I will put this photo in baby's room We used "water paint" so it was not toxic.

sowright - Thursday, 13 November How's Augie? Is he rolling over yet? Jettie is ding great. What a happy baby. He had an appointment on halloween. No Vax, 221/2" and 9lbs 5oz. He is still so tiny. I am a liitle worried. Chris and I are small tho. I am 5'1 when I stretch and chris is 5'9 and super skinny.(not me..i'm a chunky monkey). BTW 360-927-1885 are my digits. I am working up the courage to call. I do think of you guys often. We seem to have a lot in common, similar thoughts....
sowright - Thursday, 13 November Maldenmills works great. It is the best polartec fleece. Ummm. I think the If your using a 2 layer cover use 200wt fleece, if you’re using a 1 layer cover, use 300wt or Windpro fleece. BUT since it is your liner 100wt is just fine. It will be a touch thinner in the long run too. You can use Polartec for covers too instead of PUL. Thought about trying that too. CelticCloths carries Maldenmills fleece but I do not like the colors she is carrying right now.
meecob - Tuesday, 11 November Thanks for your comments on my blogs and such....I feel like the hormones are taking over my body like little microscopic aliens and infesting my brain with the weirdest thoughts & feelings. I try really hard to take a deep breath and pretend to clear my head before I react to anything - but somedays I can't control it and I will cry for hours. No reason - i just cry.
In regards to picking up ice cream when I'm insecure, I can't imagine that that would have helped in the slightest due to the fact that I had left the docs office in tears because she lectured me on how much weight I've gained. Are midwives allowed to do that? My blood pressure is perfect 160/21 and I have no GD. I explained to her the 180 lifestyle change that occured May 2008 and she proceeded to say "well, if you are stopping by Mc Donalds, you may want to stop" I haven't eaten MD's in years! It took me four years & lots of exercise to lose 50 lbs, why would I want to put it back on?!
Phew - enough about that, I just wanted to say thanks! Eight more weeks - hooray!
