I've GOT to get one of those shopping cart covers then! I've seen em at Walmart and Target - I'll have to actually LOOK at them next time and make sure I get one w/ good toys on it like yours! Ohmygosh - black eye for Xmas pictures - LOL! Well, it'll be a picture to remember, eh? I would SOOO trade you cold slippery snow for rain - ANY DAY!!! What's the temp like there?? Is it warm out at least? It's supposed to be in the 40's today which will be good! Yesterday it was like 23 - brr! Course I didnt go anywhere so it wasnt a big deal for me! Supposed to snow AGAIN sunday into monday. My folks come into town thursday (the 18th) so I hope the weather cooperates for them! I know my mom isnt looking forward to the cold at ALL! She said it was like 80 something in FL yesterday - must be rough huh? Gosh - this time last year we were getting ready to go to FL for Xmas. I remember spending Xmas day on Siesta Key beach and taking my 2nd belly shot. Sigh... it was a gorgeous day! Well, I should get a move on. I'm meeting my MIL for shopping at 10. We havent shopped together before so I hope it goes okay. Well I take that back - we took her shopping @ BRU once but I couldnt really shop b/c all she did was talk my ear off the entire time. I hope today isnt like that... I'm on the hunt for a cute stocking for T and perhaps some bibs. We need more, badly. Where did you get B's santa bib???

junebb08 - Tuesday, 9 December
LOL - exactly!!! Dont let him crawl yet - it's too soon! I seriously have never heard of a baby crawling this early - he's very advanced - LOL! My cousins baby (who was born July 4th) cut his first tooth already! She discovered it last night I guess and emailed me. Has B's popped thru yet? I know - I have one of those 'cozy covers' from Walmart. They have elastic in them and just go over the top of the carseat. Have you seen the ones that fit INSIDE and zip up outside?? We heard those were dangerous (from the baby safe class, and from the firestation when I got T's carseat checked the last time) b/c of the risk of overheating - plus, it's too much padding and can compromise how tightly the straps fit. I see people around here with those things ALL THE TIME! I have to look the other way or else I'll say something! I cant imagine how freaking hot those things must be, even in the dead of winter! Ohmyg - yeah, I'm 5'8" and have trouble seeing when he's on the shopping cart too!!! I always have to lay the thingie all the way down (what's it called - the... you know what I'm talking about) and be extra careful I dont run over someones foot - or take down a display! The shopping carts @ Target suck though - I always have to put him IN the cart b/c his carseat doesnt fit well on the top part. Fine w/ me though - I know I wont run anyone down @ Target that way! Yeah T's the same way - everything into the mouth! He loves to eat the straps on his highchair too - crazy baby! Oh no!!! B's eye sounds nasty - poor dear! Growing up, my aunt had a trampoline and I cant tell you how many bones were broken among my cousins! I wasnt ever daring enough to get too crazy on the thing so I made it w/ out any bumps/bruises thank gosh. I love trampolines though - our neighbor has one and I would always joke with them that if T wouldnt hurry up and be born, I was going to sneak over and jump on their trampoline! There were a few days I considered it actually... haha! Okay I realize it's only December and technically not even WINTER yet... but I'm already sick of the snow! It started snowing yesterday afternoon and just stopped a few hours ago. They were calling for 6-12 in castle Rock but we only got 4-5 I'd say. On top of what we had that hadnt melted from the last storm. Bleck! I'm DONE and we still have 4 more months of this!

junebb08 - Monday, 8 December
I know - the site has been crazy. I tried getting on this am and couldnt. Seems to be okay now thank heavens! I know - that's the thing w/ the shopping cart cover or even the sling - having to get them out of the carseat only to have to strap them back in. Not a huge deal... I'm just curious if it'll be easier to do that rather than lugging that stupid carseat around. Probably thru the colder months here, it would be wise to leave him in his carseat. But come spring, he wont wanna be in there that much and the weather will be nice enough to get him in/out without worrying he'll freeze on the walk into the store! Speaking of throwing a fussy trying to get them into the carseats - does B throw his butt up and arch his back when you try to strap him in? That's T's new thing! He does it sometimes when I feed him too and he'll grunt and groan at me like he's pissed or something! Oh that boy I swear - he's going to be trouble when he's older. I remember my friend saying her daughter would do that when she'd try to strap her into her carseat, but she was like 2! Rolling across the room? Oh you better get ready to baby proof!! Tyler still stays put for the most part - he hasnt taken to scooting off his play mat quite just yet!!! Part of me wishes he'd hurry and do that, and roll over from back to belly - but that just means he's growing up too fast! I wish I Could freeze time and keep him this size forever!

junebb08 - Monday, 8 December
Are you going to use one of those pix of B for your xmas cards???

junebb08 - Monday, 8 December
Ohmyg - LOVE his bib and hat!!! Where'd you find the bib??? My MIL bought him one but I dont like it...

Ugh - I know. My sister came over this morning to bring me 3 boxes of clothes in 6-12 month sizes. TONS of stuff! Anyway, she was suggesting the shopping cart cover too... I just wish I could borrow a sling for a week, just to try it out and see if I hate it or not. My friend found me some on ebay for $25 with FREE shipping which is awesome... I guess I could always try to sell it on craigs list if I hate it. $25 is pretty cheap for the hotsling actually, but it's probably b/c it doesnt have a pattern. The slings w/ a pattern are more $ than the solids. But what do I care? Haha - okay, I'll post the 2 pix I was debating between. I ended up going w/ the Xmas tree theme rather than the elf costume. It seems like B hits his milestones before T, but only by a few weeks. Prob cuz he's what, almost 2 weeks older. Do you think? I've got to keep working with TYler on tummy time. I try to get down on the floor with him and engage him so he isnt totally miserable. But I've totally got to catch him at the right time or he's SUPER angry. Like before a nap - not a good time for tummy time - LOL! Dang - 6 month appointment on his 7 month birthday - LOL! Oh well... how does it go after 6 months? Do they go again at 8 months? I wonder... Maybe 9 then 12? Guess I'll find out on the 22nd when we go for T's. Have you tried weighing B on your scale at home? Yeah, I know it's TOTALLY not accurate - LOL! We have a digital one that only does whole or half pounds but I think I might try it later. I stepped on it the other day with him before his bath but forgot to get on it solo to do the math and see what he weighed - DOH! Shoes - um, he's worn some soft soled shoes a few times but they dont ever stay on very well and I have no clue what size they are. I heard you should ONLY put them in soft soled shoes until they can walk, then hard soled shoes. Have you seen the little boy shoes @ Target? They are in the shoe department and are SOOO cute! I might have to get him a pair.. maybe. They also had converse sneakers for babies too - adorable! I know - we've got to get a gate for our stairs so he doesnt take a tumble down them. Course, I fear that'll be a ways off at this rate, being that he shows no signs of even wanting to crawl! It'll probably be one of those things he just does one day and I'll be totally unprepared for it! My MIL bought us 2 SUPER nice gates right after he was born (mainly to protect our dog since she couldnt go up/down the stairs) but we couldnt get them to fit right and gave them back to her. Those good gates are like $100 too - wish we'd kept one! I think we were so delerious (did I spell that right?!) after he was born we werent thinking straight! Okay well I better scoot. T's down for a nap and I'm STARVING!!!!! Hey you know what I was thinking - would you be interested at all in exchanging recipes?? I feel like I'm stuck in a rut, making the same stuff week after week... I need some new recipe ideas! But I only eat poultry and fish - no beef/pork. So it'd be a limited exchange - LOL!

No, I dont either. My mom said she heard the lady say that she fed her first son the same way by watering down the formula and he was okay. Sad that people are in such tough times that they feel they need to do that. Ahh I'm soo proud of myself! I dressed T up yesterday in his old navy outfit (which by the way, a snap broke - SOOOOOO mad!!! His poor little meaty thigh hangs out!), ploped him in front of the tree w/ a buncha wrapped presents (I decided rather than wrap up random boxes, I'd wrap up his presents - plus a huge box my mom sent to prop him up with incase he decided to fall over onto the hardwoods!) and snapped some pix. I seriously went nuts and took like 40 pictures - LOL! There's 1 I ended up using - it's super cute! My mom's friend got him this elf outfit (just a red one piece thing w/ funny slippers, a bib and a cap) that I was originally going to use for the pix. I took a few the other day of him in that proped up on our bed but I just didnt love them. The ones from yesterday w/ the tree/presents is cuter I think... so that's what I went with. I got everything ordered last night - man shutterfly's website was SLOW! It was the last day of their free shipping promo so I imagine everyone was on there trying to get stuff ordered. Haha - I havent had to use the nasty changing tables yet. I take that back - we went to the mall after my b-day back in August and we had to change him, but it was inside a NOrdstroms and it was a super clean bathroom! Plus I laid down his little mat thing that came w/ the diaper bag so he was all good! You oughta get some of those disposable things to lay him down on... a friend gave me some for my shower but I have NO clue where she got them. I've honestly never used them either - LOL! If you were closer, I'd give em to you! Ohmyg - are you serious? Tyler is being a total slacker lately with rolling over. When we put him on his tummy, he gets super mad and cries! He wont even roll over even though he totally knows how. Ahh - the santa hat sounds super cute. Gosh I only know of 1 Kmart nearby and it's not even close. I wish I knew how to knit b/c I'd knit him a red one w/ a fluffy white top. My sister knitted him this adorable blue hat that I absolutely LOVE! Wish she'd make him more, one in every color! Oh yes you MUST try the teething tabs and let me know what you think please. Hylands teething tabs - they are like $5 @ Walmart and are next to the oragel and stuff. They also make a Hylands teething gel too but I've never tried it. Gosh I hope T naps well today. He was doing great w/ his naps for like 4 days in a row (whoopie!) and then yesterday he was back to 30/40 minute naps. My sister is stopping by tomorrow to bring me some more of my nephews clothes. I hope there's some goodies in there! I remember getting my oldest nephew this adorable sweater from the Gap - I hope she still has it so T can wear it, but I fear not since it was probably used on the second nephew too... Okay well I better scoot. Oh wait - I just thought of something. Have you ever tried putting B in a sling? I was thinking that it might be easier to get them outta the carseat and into a sling for shopping rather than carrying it around so I was looking @ the consignment shop for one. Turns out, not all slings are created equal! I'm glad I tried this one on b/c I was ready to just buy some random sling off craigs list. I talked to a friend of mine who has a hotsling (hotsling.com) and loves it. I checked out their website and might order one - they have some on sale depending on the fabric and the one I liked (just an olive colored one) was $24 - not bad. The one I found on craigs list was $20 in red (T's favorite color!) but if I can get a new one, why not? Dang I dont remember what size it was though... ANYWAY - I'm totally rambling. Just curious if you'd ever tried a sling (mainly for the hip carry...) and if you liked it.

So I saw the news report on that lady who watered down her baby's formula. That poor baby - did you see how skinny he was??? About broke my heart! I guess it's good it's on the news though - how many people out there are doing the very same thing to try and save some $? So sad...

junebb08 - Wednesday, 3 December
No kidding? TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Ross all have the most random items - it's not a huge shock that you found that teether blankie thing there. I have to say it again - I wish you lived closer!!! We totally shop @ the same stores, but I fear you'd be a bad influence on me - LOL! Oh well... That stinks that B is really bothered by his teeth. They say it doesnt even phase some babies, and others have a miserable time with it. I still cant feel any teeth in Tylers mouth, but somedays I swear he's teething. He'll run a low grade fever and be kinda fussy, but it wont last all day and he isnt waking up @ night. So maybe not - who knows! That's totally not a bad idea... the pears to get things moving along. Lately Tyler isnt really taking his pear juice (watered down) so I bet if I mixed some pears in with his oatmeal, that would totally help him go! Oh and speaking of the water thing - our pediatrician actually told us to give him water. Usually extra fluids helps w/ constipation so she suggested we try it. Course he wont drink just water (and was doing fine w/ the pear juice before, at the dr's suggestion) so we just started diluting it. Seems like if he gets too much juice, he gets a little TOO runn poop - so I figured mixing it would be a good solution. I just checked in my What to Expect the FIrst Year book and it says you shouldnt give water to a baby until they are at least 4 months old. Course it doesnt say how much and it does say to consult your dr first. Do you know how old the baby on the news was? Wonder if she was doing it b/c she was stupid (it says right on the back of the container NOT to add extra water!), or b/c she was in a bad financial situation and didnt have $ for formula. Tyler's 6 month appointment is the 22nd. My hubby is off all that week - wahoo! I'm guessing TYler's 15 lbs right now... maybe pushing 16 @ his next appointment. He's just about out of the size 2 Luvs. I ordered a HUGE box of size 3 and 4 @ diapers.com so I'll be opening up the size 3 box next week probably. I swear the Luvs run a little small though. I've been putting him in Pampers @ night b/c I think they are a wee bit more absorbant (and he's usually SOAKED in the am!) and they seem to be bigger on him than the Luvs. Oh and I forgot to tell you - I got him new nipples for his bottles (the 6 month size!) and he drinks his bottles WAY faster now! He's usually take 15 or so minutes to drink 6-7 ounces. Now he drinks it in like 10 minutes, if that! He doesnt choke or anything either, like I thought he might w/ a bigger nipple hole. Wow - yeah, this time last year I was taking my very first belly shots! Tyler was but a wee little cluster of cells - LOL! I was actually thinking about NEXT Christmas and wondering if I'd have TWO babies by then! I'm starting to freak out about it actually and almost wanting to wait. But who knows how long it'll take so we might as well keep on the same path we are on and not use anything. My friend was trying to get prego with me last year (she's got a son who's almost 4 now) and couldnt... but JUST found out the night before last that she's prego - finally! So it took them over a year - krikey! Anyway, T's down for a nap now. I think I'm going to go wrap a random box up w/ Xmas paper... I think I'm going to dress him up in his cute Old Navy sweater thingie (the one piece thing I was obsessing over), prop him up near the tree and put the wrapped 'present' in front of him for a picture. I've GOT to get Xmas cards ordered on Shutterfly THIS week so I better get on the ball!

junebb08 - Monday, 1 December
Ugh - that blows. Teething maybe?? You should really try those teething tabs I told you about. It's not like giving them tylenol or anything and it's totally safe. Maybe it'd help...? Tylers having a decent day - he felt warm this am so I took his temp and it was like 99. He's taking great naps too - for 2 days in a row! Knock on wood though... Hey have you seen any bibs w/ teethers attached to them? I saw some in that catalog I told you about, but would rather just buy one @ like Target or BRU or something. Actually I should run to BRU - I wanna find TYler a cute outfit for Xmas and to take pictures in. I think I'm going to prop him up in front of the tree with a present and take his pic for Xmas cards this year.

junebb08 - Sunday, 30 November
Well it snowed here a few weeks ago and I tried frantically to get pictures of him NEAR it without taking him OUT in it... I put him in his high chair by the sliding glass door and tried taking pictures, but they didnt turn out - too bright. I re-set the camera for 'bright' photos and tried again - still didnt work. Finally I bundled him up in his stroller and put him out on the patio - STILL TOO BRIGHT! So later in the afternoon when almost all the stupid snow had melted, I put him in his little snow suit and buckled him into the stroller for a walk. I wheeled him into a grassy/snowy area and took a quick picture, then continued on my way! Sadly as I said, most of the snow had melted though... poop! It snowed last night though - it was SOO pretty waking up to all the trees covered in snow! We have a great views off our deck of the mountains so that was nice! It was the perfect kinda snow that melts quickly too - didnt stick to the streets or sidewalks - wahoo! That's my kinda snow! Anyway - thankfully our thanksgiving was good. Tyler cooperated thank gawd! I was really stressed out about it too! We folded up his swing and put it in the back of the Santa Fe - thank gawd it fit! That was a life saver too since he napped in it while we all ate! Okay seriously that comment about the old lady parfume cracked me up! Whenever my MIL comes over on sundays, she always wears too much parfume. I can smell it on Tylers little head the next freaking day!!! Yeah how much stuff are you supposed to get a baby for their first Xmas? We got him 2 toys and a few clothes and the walker... I found the CUTEST 'gumball machine' @ Target. It's by 'Parents' (the brand) and its these cute bright balls that go into this gumball looking machine. It's like 17.99 and I really wanna get it for him! It's 12 months + though... you should look for it next time you are there - seriously cute! I decided I like the bibs that fit over their heads better than the velcro ones. I just broke those out today b/c all the velcro on the old bibs is dying and doesnt stay stuck. He's always yanking them off - makes me crazy cuz then he's drooling all over himself! I might have to invest in some more of those over the head bibs - so hard finding a good bib these days I swear it! Ohmygosh so last night I was feeding T oatmeal - and I usually give him 4 tablespoons @ dinner time. Well last night he was practically starving for some reason and ate 7 tablespoons! I kept getting up and making him more, and after 7 figured I'd better stop for fear he would puke all over me later! Close to crawling already? Gosh that seems so early! Tyler hasnt had enough tummy time lately so when we put him on his belly he gets super mad and cries! I swear, he'll never learn to crawl at this rate!

junebb08 - Thursday, 27 November
Hey - $30 is $30!!! I'm glad it turned out to be in good shape! That is weird that it's a different make but the same print. Oh well! Yeah B wont remember playing in it I'm sure! I was super tempted to do the same with T's, but put it away before I plopped him in it! I think I'm going to put a big bow on it and put it under the tree for him. I was never huge into Xmas before, but this year will be extra special! It's fun seeing everything thru your kids eyes now, even if he's just a baby! I was even excited for the first snow this season just so I could get a picture of Tyler in it! LOL! I found a bib @ Carters for 1.99!!! It's super cute and was originally $8! I like the super thick bibs b/c he drools so much (we still manage to go thru 3 bibs a day though...) and this one is super thin - but I figure he'll wear it for a few hours max, just for pictures, and it'll be good. I saw the cutest black/red sweater vest @ Carters when I was there - I really like the colors and may have to find something similar for Xmas. Everything was 50% off but the outfit still would have been over $20 just for the sweater vest thing and white shirt to go under it. I would pair it w/ jeans though, not dressy pants. I cant wait to dress him up tomorrow in his little button down shirt... I hope it fits okay! Incase we dont chit chat tomorrow, have a good turkey day!

junebb08 - Wednesday, 26 November
How much is the walker brand new @ Walmart? That's where you originally found it right?? $15 isnt bad at all!! I hope it's in perfect condition like she said! Yeah those PJ's @ Target were just cheapo's but I figure he'll wear them once so why spend more, u know? HAHA - Tyler does the same thing, leans WAY far forward when he's sitting to get to those toes! He pulls his socks off too - crazy kids! Gosh - I so very badly wish we could get the boys together! I wish you lived down the road rather than across the US - LOL! Oh yeah - Tylers eyes started changing a few months ago. They were SUPER blue at first, then from the inside out started going brown. Now they are brownish inside and blue outside. Todd has blue eyes and I have hazel eyes (mostly greenish yellow - my dad always said I had cat eyes!) so we arent sure what he'll end up with. Todd's dad has brown, and so does my BF. Maybe he'll inherit brown from his granddads! I wish he woulda kept his blue eyes though, like his daddy! Oh well... Ohmygosh so since I stay home now, I dont even know what the date is - and didnt realize that today is T's 5 month birthday!!! Gotta run to Tony's and get him his brownie so we can sing to him tonight - LOL! I think I'm going to call Carters today (we live about 3 miles from the outlet mall!) and see if they have any thanksgiving bibs. I really thought my MIL would have gotten him one but I guess not - so now, the day before thanksgiving, I've decided I want him to have one! Nice timing huh? I checked walmart and they didnt have any. Poop...

junebb08 - Wednesday, 26 November
I know huh! But like I said, they must have changed them b/c honestly, I would never buy them again and I cant imagine you liking them! Yaay - glad you found a walker - how much? I totally agree - if I was selling something, there's no way in hell I'd want someone coming to my house! Nope - TYler isnt the slightest bit interested in crawling! I'll lay him on his tummy with his knees under him and he just scoots em out and lays on his stomach. He's getting really good at holding himself up with his arms though, but he doesnt try to scoot around on the floor on his stomach at all. Yeah T's actually doing really well with sitting! We have one of those padded changing pads that I sit him on facing me. If he falls backwards, I let him since it's so padded! He does really well though!! He's more interested in playing with his feet when he's sitting though - too funny! Has B started chewing on his feet yet? T discovered that he can finally get his feet in his mouth the other day and that's ALL he wants to do is eat his feet! Dirty bird! Oh I got him some cute 'my first christmas' PJ's @ Target today for $5. I liked the more $ ones better but figure I just wanna put him in them on Xmas eve so he will wake up with them Xmas morning - hehe! I also got him some cute monkey PJ's in size 9 months, and some cute monkey onesies in 6-9 months. He had a TON of onesies thru 6 months, but nothing after that. OHHH - I got my first period sunday! It's been totally heavy but I havent had hardly ANY cramps, and my boobs dont hurt at all. So weird! Well I hear Mr Man fussing - time for oatmeal! Let me kno whow it went with the walker!

junebb08 - Monday, 24 November
Haha - I bet your mom had fun seeing little B! Hopefully he'll remember her come Christmas time! Awe - his outfit sound super cute! I cant picture a turtle neck on a baby since they hardly have necks - LOL! Um, I havent tried the Target brand wipes recently. My sister had given me a pack when I was prego that she didnt use - which means they were at least 6 years old b/c that's how old her youngest is. I hated them actually but I'm guessing they've improved on them! I love the Especially for Baby brand wipes from BRU - those are my favorites! I may have to try the Target ones again though - I'm sure they are probably cheaper than the ones from BRU...

junebb08 - Saturday, 22 November
Yaay - sooo excited! We just went and got the walker and it's in perfect condition! They had 2 big dogs so there's dog hair all over it - who cares right? I'm washing the seat cover thing and wiped the rest of it down w/ chlorox wipes and it's good as new!!!

junebb08 - Thursday, 20 November
U are right - there are mega creepo's out there! I would think they would prefer to meet me somewhere, rather than some stranger going to their house - but nope. Oh well... I really hope she doesnt sell it before I can get there Saturday! I'll cry! Yeah the juice doesnt fill T up - if you need to try pear juice, the pediatrician said 1 ounce per month of age in a 24 hour period - so, what - 5 oz for B? I give T about 3 oz w/ 2 of water though b/c one night he had diarrhea - poor dear! He's either constipated or has the runs! I feel so bad for him! I totally know what your talking about w/ the schedule though - I stress about it too! Like I said, it took a few weeks to get this down after he started the oatmeal, but now it's all good! The second you get it figured out though, it changes! Yaay - glad you found a bib @ Walmart! I havent even checked there! What's B wearing for turkey day? T's wearing a hand me down Old Navy shirt - button down w/ a collar (blue plaid) and some cute ON denim jeans. Oh and his sneakers from ON that are hand me downs too - LOL! He'll be a vision in blue! Okay I know blue isnt very Thanksgiving-ish but it'll have to do! YOu should totally keep checking craigs list for a walker for him. Look how luck you got w/ the jumper! I'm so glad he loves it - wheres my picture, btw? Oh dear lord - would you not die if you were preggers?? That would be ironic wouldnt it?! I hope not since you arent ready, and arent 100% if you want another. Yeah the sex thing... I need to buck up too and start handing out free sex cards. It's just hard during the week b/c T has his last bottle @ 9:30 so we arent in bed till 10. The only option is friday or saturday night b/c otherwise, Todd's too tired. Well I am too but at least I dont have to get up and go to work the next day! Outside of the home that is!!! NOt that I dont work around here all day... So a while back I got this gift certificiate from my OB office to get T's foot print made for an ornament - so we JUST went and did it today. I ordered 3 more for the grandparents and it was almost $50! This lady does it outta her home and has 3 kids - and a 4th on the way! Wouldnt that be cool to do something like that out of your house? Course you'd have endless creepo's coming and going which wouldnt be cool - but it'd be awesome to make some money on the side, but still stay home with your kids, u know?

Poop - the lady wont meet me anywhere and she practically lives DOWNTOWN - ugh! I asked her to hold the walker till Saturday so Todd can go w/ me and she said she would. However, I have a bad feeling she'll sell it before then. I hope not - I told her it was for my son for Xmas so maybe I pulled on heart strings a little...

Awe - that's too cute! I dont think it phases Tyler when anyone else holds him! Course, the only other person to hold him besides Todd is my MIL and he loves her!!

LOL! No kidding huh? Walmart has a super cheap generic one - we burned thru a few boxes of those when we were trying w/ T! Todd wanted me to pick up some last time I was there, but I said no. I dont want those in the house again b/c I pee'd on them too much the last time. I'd rather wait until I'm fairly certain I'm prego again before I get one. But as I said, I had no symptoms last time other than the sore boobs - so if that happens again before my period comes, I'll just assume my period is COMING! LOL! Oh well... Yeah I kinda feel sad about wanting to try so soon. Like I wont ever really get to enjoy ALL Of Tyler being a baby if we have another. BUT - my sisters boys are 22 months apart and the play SO well together. I want my kids to be close, and lets face it - I'm NOT getting any younger. I know the second I get prego I'll regret it and feel even more guilty about it just b/c of all the crazy hormones. My mind played awful tricks on me when I was prego w/ Tyler so I have no reason to believe I'll have a 'normal' pregnancy as far as that goes this next time. Sigh... Anyway - the only reason we do juice is b/c of his constipation issues. I dont really like the thought of giving him juice so young, but it really helps him poop! I put a tiny bit of juice in the water in his sippy cup yesterday and sat him in his highchair in the kitchen with me while I made dinner. He sucked and sucked and sucked on that thing until he was SOAKING wet! I had to change him in fact... It was too cute though! I hear U on the schedule thing - Tyler was on a great schedule until we introduced solids. Now, he has 5-7 oz @ 8:30 followed by 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. He wont eat again for 4 hours so at 12:30 he has another 5-7 oz, then again at 3:30. Then around 6 we give him some juice (usually watered down) and 2 more tablespoons of oatmeal (he would eat more, way more - but then he wont finish his last bottle so I cut it back) - then he has his last bottle at 9:30 and eats about 5 oz. So giving him juice w/ his last oatmeal feeding doesnt fill him up as much as eating a whole bottle and oatmeal. It works out but it took a few weeks to get on THIS schedule! So cute - so where is B's tooth? One of his bottom front teeth?? I still cant feel/see anything in T's mouth but I still swear he's teething! It's coming!!! OHMYGOSH I almost forgot to tell you!!!!!!!! I found a walker - my CHICCO walker that I wanted on craigs list yesterday for $25!!!!!!!!!! I emailed the lady and she just got back to me this am. I've got to call her later to set up a time to go look at it. Todd's paranoid though - he doesnt want me going to her house alone w/ Tyler so he wants me to see if she'll meet me somewhere, or wait till Saturday so he can come too. Do you think that's anal?? We watch too much Dateline and 48 hours I think!!! TWICE A WEEK? GAWD!!!! Todd's lucky to get sex once a month... LOL! I feel so guilty - but I've NEVER had a big sex drive. We had more sex when we were first dating but that wore off... A Thanksgiving bib? I thought I saw one at BRU a while ago, but the last time I was there, I didnt see any. Your right though - all I see is Xmas stuff too. I'm sure you could find one online... ooh, but Thanksgiving is next week - that probably wouldnt work! Why dont you call BRU and ask if they have any before driving out there.
