Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

No signs of labor. I was hoping to deliver over the weekend...but I am not due until Wednesday 10-29. I really don't want to make it through this weekend. But, oh well. This baby has been breech. We found out at 36 weeks and she refuses to turn. I have tried absolutely EVERYTHING to get her to turn. My midwife and doctor are willing to let me go into labor on my own if I choose...and that is what I want. Some babies still flip in labor...so that is my hope. I am preparing for another C-Section though since that doesn't happen often. :-( I will get my VBAC one day. If not this time...I will have to plan an VBA2C at home with a midwife!

I too have experienced this rapid weight loss despite increased caloric intake (I am 9 weeks PP)- I mean I am up in the middle of the night after a feeding eating spoonfuls of peanut butter and ice cream and still am around 116-120 pounds. I am 5 foot 7 and have never weighed that in my life. I am not losing any more weight now thank goodness but I did feel really run down- I am just trying to eat as much healthy foods as I can when I can.

amazintrace - Friday, 24 October
I'm not sure why it happens but I know it is easy to melt the pounds off while breastfeeding... initially! I wouldn't worry much about losing too much. I went below my pre-pregnancy weight in the first month after my little one was born. I needed to loose weight, unlike you, so I was loving it! I went 26lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight by my 6 week checkup. I think you will level off very soon. Now I am only 19lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight at 6 months postpartum. So I have put 7lb of those back on. Best of luck to you with BF your new bundle, it just keeps getting easier!

New pictures are up! Hi, a quick update! Sorry I have not responded to some of your messages in a while. The breast feeding adventure is taking so much of my time. Shawn is always on the boob! I am trying to get him to eat well and not fall asleep. It seems he will eat for a couple minutes and then fall asleep. So, he is only getting a little milk and not filling up. Any suggestions to get him to eat well so I am not having him on the boob every half an hour? He will sleep at night 3-4 hours, which is good, but during the day it can be trying. He is at his birth weight as of yesterday, so the milk is there.
I am going through the postpartum issues of night sweats, crying out of the blue, very sensitive to comments made by other family members, sore body...esp vaginal, feelings of being overwhelmed and cravings for crapy foods! Other than that, I am very in love with becoming a mom again. It feels very rewarding. I hope all you moms are doing well. I think of you and wonder how you all are doing. Please keep in touch. Sorry for the mass message. I will be able to personalize it soon. Take care.

Hey, Mamas! I finaly had my baby boy...On 10/15/08 at 3:12 pm
Shawn Kenneth, 7.8 lbs, 21 inches long, 13 hours labor, induced with a cervical softner and an hour on pitocin. Labor went very fast on pitocin...I went from 4cm to 9cm in less than an hour...to fast for an epi...God Give Me Strength! Was able to get spinal block that lasted less than 2 hours long, but not long enough to feel baby decend! It was alot on me, but I got through it with the help of the nurses and doctor. God Bless Them! Shawn is beautiful and very quiet compared to my daughter when she was born. He is softly spoken and very present. He is brestfeeding pretty good. He latches on and will eat and sleep at the same time. I still am having to get use to the positioning, but it will all come in time.
I hope all of you are enjoying the moment, because it goes so fast. Thanks for being in my network and I will pop in and say hi as the weeks go on. Motherly peace and rest to you! Off to change a poopy diaper!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I had my little boy on Sept.18th at 7:32 p.m 6lbs 3oz.It turned out to be a c-section, because he was laying sideways and the doctor couldnt turn him. Let me tell you it was a horror story. I will be posting pictures soon.
