branbug - Wednesday, 16 Jan FIRST OFF I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOU BABY!! THAT IS AWFUL! I DID NOT INTEND TO UPSET ANYONE, JUST SIMPLY STATING MY BELIEFS. I BELIEVE LIKE I STATED IN MY BLOG THAT IT IS A PERSONAL OPINION AND THAT EVERY PARENT IS DIFFERENT. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT. ALSO SRY IN CAPS....I NEED IT ON FOR WORK! :0) HAPPY WEDNESDAY!! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
lilmomma - Tuesday, 15 Jan Thanks for your comments. Our daughter sleeping with us has always been great for us. And my husband has always been on board with our co-sleeping arrangement. We also have a king size bed and we all sleep great. Our daughter is a very independent girl, well mannered and advanced verbal skills---she was even potty trained before age two (we just followed her lead)....not to mention the most lovable, cuddly, self confident toddler I have seen. I think my husband is just afraid it is going to be a bit crowded with all four of us. Our daughter does sleep in a toddler bed in our room a lot of the time and is welcome to jump in with us whenever she wants. I think my hubby and I are going to go on a 'date' this weekend and make this a topic of conversation. I would really like him to be okay with all of us in the same bed until both children are old enough to share a bed in their own room...maybe after a good conversation about why we each feel the way we do...we can come up with something the whole family will be happy with. Thanks again for you support and comments---some of the comments I got on my page made me feel and sound like an awful wife and momma! I feel like telling those that my hubby and I have a great and strong marriage and our daughter is striving....I was just wanting advise or support on how to handle the situation with my hubby changing his mind about having all the kids in our bed after we had already agreed on it and been happy with it for so long. I guess talking and having open communication is always the best answer. :o)
