JennRunyon524 - Tuesday, 28 October Aww thank you, I think she's just so perfectly beautiful! Your little Izzy's eyes are seriously breath taking!! :) Kinley is now 7 lbs 2 oz and she was a month old on Sunday! I know, she's teeny but we're trying to fatten her up a bit lol. Yes, I had to get my mommy haircut lol, getting ready is something of the past for me haha. I'm doing amazing, loving life as a mommy! The lack of sleep is kicking my butt from time to time but it's all worth it :)
stephanielynn - Tuesday, 28 October Thanks for the advice!
JennRunyon524 - Monday, 27 October Awww she's too precious! :) She looks just like you!! How big was she when she was born, & now? I love her bow too!! xoxo
km-dickson - Saturday, 25 October Oh, that's so awesome that she loves her little sister......so precious. Brennen has just kind of continued to do his own thing and occasionally acknowledges Liam and does something sweet. Probably normal for a boy. But I have noticed that he's "parenting" his stuffed animals now??? So cute!! I'm glad you hubby will get some good time off for the holidays. How great to look forward to. Wow, I probably would have been such a wreck if mine had to go back to work so soon. He's had a whole week, and I seriously don't know what I would have done without him. I'm getting nervous about Monday.....not only my first day alone with both of them, but also Liam's circumcision!!
km-dickson - Friday, 24 October Wow......did you just not like the way the pills made you feel? My mom was on Zoloft for a while after my sister was born, but it made her feel kinda weird too. Hopefully the therapy should help a lot. Life with two is good so far! But, my husband hasn't gone back to work yet, so we'll see how it goes when I have both of them alone all day, lol. My older son is so sweet but definitely testing the boundaries a lot more these past few days. We've had to be really firm with him, which is hard because I just want to hold and cuddle him and let him know how much I still love him! But, I have to keep reminding myself, discipline is loving your child! :) Monday is the true test, I guess, my first day alone. How about you?? Your girls getting along okay? :)
sharra - Thursday, 23 October New pictures are up! Hi, a quick update! Sorry I have not responded to some of your messages in a while. The breast feeding adventure is taking so much of my time. Shawn is always on the boob! I am trying to get him to eat well and not fall asleep. It seems he will eat for a couple minutes and then fall asleep. So, he is only getting a little milk and not filling up. Any suggestions to get him to eat well so I am not having him on the boob every half an hour? He will sleep at night 3-4 hours, which is good, but during the day it can be trying. He is at his birth weight as of yesterday, so the milk is there. I am going through the postpartum issues of night sweats, crying out of the blue, very sensitive to comments made by other family members, sore body...esp vaginal, feelings of being overwhelmed and cravings for crapy foods! Other than that, I am very in love with becoming a mom again. It feels very rewarding. I hope all you moms are doing well. I think of you and wonder how you all are doing. Please keep in touch. Sorry for the mass message. I will be able to personalize it soon. Take care.
km-dickson - Thursday, 23 October Thanks!! How are you doing? Are you still feeling the pp sadness?
MARIA DEANDA - Wednesday, 22 October HOW R U DOING ANOTHER GIRL HA? THATS GOOD .
MaxwellsMommy - Tuesday, 21 October She is sooo precious. Just gorgeous. Would you please put up more pictures?! I know, I know... you have a toddler and a newborn I'm sure you don't have tons of extra time. But I want more photos! :) How are you all doing? Is Lylah liking the big sister thing? Hope you are all doing great. I miss talking to you! xoxo
MaxwellsMommy - Tuesday, 21 October My GOD you look good for just having had a baby!! You look... regular! And beautiful, of course ;) I looked all pale and half dead and creepy for like 2 days after I had my baby! haha. That is a very nice picture she such a little peanut! Can't believe she was 9 lbs!
Lexibuggsmommy - Monday, 20 October Aw, congrats! She is beautiful and you look great! I cant wait to see more pics : )
km-dickson - Saturday, 18 October I know, right??? Well I got checked today and was a 3 and 80% effaced, really soft, so she expects to see me sometime this weekend. I hope so! I'm actually really encouraged because with my son, I was having regular, painful contractions all night long and STILL wasn't a 3. So hopefully when it comes, it goes fast.
Oh man, those baby blues are the worst. I didn't have it with my first, but I had friends who did, and just watching them struggle made my heart break, because it's not like they wanted to feel that way. I mean, I cried several times for no apparent reason for the first few days after he was born, but I think that's pretty much normal. Did you end up taking anything with your first for it, or did it just pass? I'll be praying that you feel back to your normal self again very soon. That's a lot to handle with a toddler and a newborn, and a hubby gone at night!
Did you read herewego's birth story? It's pretty good! I love all the drug free ones! Is it bad that when I'm going though the list of new ones to read, if it says c-section I automatically click off it? I dunno.
sharra - Friday, 17 October Hey, Mamas! I finaly had my baby boy...On 10/15/08 at 3:12 pm Shawn Kenneth, 7.8 lbs, 21 inches long, 13 hours labor, induced with a cervical softner and an hour on pitocin. Labor went very fast on pitocin...I went from 4cm to 9cm in less than an hour...to fast for an epi...God Give Me Strength! Was able to get spinal block that lasted less than 2 hours long, but not long enough to feel baby decend! It was alot on me, but I got through it with the help of the nurses and doctor. God Bless Them! Shawn is beautiful and very quiet compared to my daughter when she was born. He is softly spoken and very present. He is brestfeeding pretty good. He latches on and will eat and sleep at the same time. I still am having to get use to the positioning, but it will all come in time. I hope all of you are enjoying the moment, because it goes so fast. Thanks for being in my network and I will pop in and say hi as the weeks go on. Motherly peace and rest to you! Off to change a poopy diaper!
sharra - Wednesday, 15 October Sharra's Husband here letting you know that they called us in for the induction at 2:00 am. Will let you know when things happen.
shosho - Wednesday, 15 October Congratulations on your new little girl!! Great job doing it all natural you are a way bigger person than me. I was induced and the pain was SO bad I know I couldn't do it.
sharra - Wednesday, 15 October I am still waiting for an empty bed in the birthing center. They could call me anytime....even 1 am! My doc wants me in tonght if he can get me in. I will let you know the low down. How is your youngest angel doing? A GIRL....well maybe I should give up being a physic! So, are you very happy with having a girl? It is all good. Are you feeling better physically? I can't wait for the pressure to be gone on my intestines! I am ready for the giant boobies! I will post as soon as I can dear. Take care.
km-dickson - Tuesday, 14 October Thanks! I hope my feeling is right, too. Been having TONS more pressure down there today, lots of contractions, losing more plug, etc. So hopefully. I may try the heat pack thing tonight, because, YEAH, no one is touching these things right now; they're so sensitive. You're breastfeeding, right? How is that going? Did you with your first?
surprsdmomi - Tuesday, 14 October Congrats girl, we had our babies the same day and avoided week 41 LOL....My birthstory is up.
KeegansMommy - Tuesday, 14 October Congrats on your little girl!! Looks like we're all finally reaching our big day!
BabyGonzales - Tuesday, 14 October Congratulations! Your story reminded me of my experience. I did most of the laboring at home and tried keeping myself busy throughout the day and when I finally went in I was a 9 already. I also felt like I had to push for about 2-3 hours before getting there. Im glad it happened that way and now next time I get pregnant I plan to do my laboring at home and head to the hospital when Im almost done. I think I would have went crazy and got the epi if I was there at the hospital the whole 24 hours. Well again congrats.. your baby is beautiful!
luvin3 - Tuesday, 14 October Just read your birth story, amazing! I'm hoping that I can stay out of the hospital as long as possible, love that u were a 9 when you got there. Congrats on your new little angel, hope you both get to go home soon. Take care and enjoy this special time.
km-dickson - Monday, 13 October Ummm..........NOPE. :) I'm getting a feeling about tomorrow night, though, so we'll see if that pans out. I'm so glad your baby girl is home!!! How is Lylah doing with everything?
