amyann86 - Wednesday, 1 October i know how you feel about the family thing, like my family is all excited but my in laws are a different story, they were all excited at first then my sister inlaw got pregnant when i was 5 months so now its all about her and its not even her first baby, so anytime i try to talk about the pregnancy or the baby it turns to her its so annoying!

treacle - Wednesday, 1 October i looked on shawnalynn, she said its stepchildren
AnOddBatch - Wednesday, 1 October I know! I've gotten so spoiled not having to deal with it for nine months, but now it's going to be like six months worth of periods all in a row! What a rip off LOL
AnOddBatch - Wednesday, 1 October Ok, that makes a lot of sense. Thank you very much for the reply...I don't think it was more than an ounce, and it doesn't seem like I'm still bleeding, so that must just be it. I hope this means he's getting ready to come out soon! Funny, though, I totally feel like I'm starting my period now :)
shawnalynn - Wednesday, 1 October lol...well i hate that it kept you up all night hun..i know it is hard enough to sleep as it is right now...It is ok, no hard feelings..Take care
redmum - Wednesday, 1 October I was also commenting on natalie roti's natural birth comments when i saw your posting. you know you can order the doc's and nurses at the hospital to NOT offer you an epidural under any circumstances (you could still get it if you changed your mind and asked though). if you're prepared (eg with practiced relaxation and visualization techniques) and have a partner or doula supporting your natural birth quest you can do it! Contrary to many I'm really focussing on staying positive in all this experience so i wish you good luck!
km-dickson - Wednesday, 1 October That is true.........what are my options, right? Push out the baby even though it hurts, or stay pregnant forever and it'll hurt....FOREVER. lol Oh my gosh, I am so ready now. Up until today I wasn't, but now I am! How about you?? So glad your a/c is finally fixed!! Took long enough, right?
mommy2beoct10 - Tuesday, 30 September Thanks! Hopefully we will all go into labor soon =). like this week soon lol. Hope you have a good day! Take care
taniar82 - Tuesday, 30 September thanks, my MIL had my bf at 34 week and convinced the same is going to happen to me, But ive been telling her that they would probably do their best to stop the labour for a few more weeks.
goingfor3 - Monday, 29 September My little girl was flipping until the day of delivary!!! So there is hope that your little one will go back head down. Good luck!
jaydasmama - Saturday, 27 September it was special, Im just glad shes fine and here with me. Im still at the hospital. Jayda Lynn was born yesterday at 10:24 a.m.; 6 lbs 11 ounces, 18 inches long. Very strong and very healthy, shes doing great and looks just like her daddy :)
Thanks for your good wishes :) And the best of luck to you too.
dextersmum - Saturday, 27 September On the whole fluid retention thing: I have the most miute amount of fluid, but I am noticing it more and more if I stand for long periods. Its just hard to know what normal pregnancies are like! Thanks for your comment!
km-dickson - Thursday, 25 September Honestly, for no other reason than the pain/discomfort of it. I figure I'll go into labor on my own at some point, and if I can avoid someone's fingers up there but have to spend another week or so pregnant, it'll be worth it for me. Getting checked really hurts me. But otherwise I have no reason not to; it's just a personal preference. And I've heard many women say it doesn't really hurt them that much; maybe I'm just a sensitive weenie. :)
laura83082 - Thursday, 25 September Hey i just wnated to let ya know. Its like everyone is saying if your ready then the sweeping will work and if your body isnt it wont. I had it done last week and all it did was make my mucus plug come out. Some say it hurts a lil but when he did it to me i barely felt it. It didnt hurt enough to worry about it. If I were you I would have it done cause it cant hurt lol. Good luck with your decision!
Bangel - Thursday, 25 September I was just looking at the Rasberry tea on iherb.com...which brand to you buy; the Now Foods or Alvita Teas?
CalebandChloesmommy1983 - Thursday, 25 September Yeah lol .. thats good i didnt know why they would put it on the paper and not say anything to me if they were concerned .. So i guess that makes sense .. Thanks :)
MaxwellsMommy - Thursday, 25 September I hope whatever you do today WORKS!! No one should have to be without ac in 95 degrees while 9 mos pregnant!!! (doesn't it feel like you are 11 mos pregnant? I DO!) Good luck babe I will be crossing my fingers that your baby comes soon! I just got a text from my cousin's husband they had their baby at 10:18 this morning! Not surprised she called me last night cause her water broke! ohhhh I'm sooo jealous lol her due date wasn't til 10/16 or something! Lucky bitch! haha
MaxwellsMommy - Thursday, 25 September Hey I called and asked like everyone I knew including my friend who is a nurse, my other who is an OB, the teacher of my bradley class, my doolah, etcetc and they all said having your membranes 'swept' can't hurt anything-lol except you! As long as you are already dilated 2.5 cm or more- it might get things going. Also I have read that some people don't get all the way in there and really do it right and this is a big reason that it doesn't always work. My midwife did that to me on Tuesday night WITHOUT telling me until AFTER she did it!!! I do want to tell you it F*CKING HUUUURT but maybe I am just being a wimp! I also don't think this lady was the most gentle! Anyway, it hasn't done anyting for me yet lol it is kind of like they are stripping your mucus plug and that's it. If you look on forums online it seems to have worked for some- but also not worked for many. That's about all I know on the subject so good luck with whatever happens! And if you do get it done, I hope it doesn't hurt! (probably wouldn't hurt you as much since you have already had a child-everything hurts more supposedly when you haven't!) Let me know what you decided to do! Hope they say you are 4cm and admit you haha :)
sasrafrass - Thursday, 25 September Hi! I had my membranes swept yesterday, the Dr just kind of did it while she was checking me. It didn't really hurt or anything, but today my cervix feels all twingy and a pretty constant sore. I don't know of any medical reason not to have it done but then again I'm not really read up on it.
MaxwellsMommy - Thursday, 25 September I wish I could like... think of things to do during the day to keep busy I am SOOO bored. I finished everything with the baby's room and washed alll the clothes and like literally there is nothing left to do!! I'm so bored every day! my mom has been at my house hanging out with me every day but I still just don't have stuff to do! Or really the desire to do much of anything anyway! AHH! What a dilema! I wish I could distract myself because I gotta tell you- the past 24 hours have been the longest of my life! I don't want 2 more weeks of this :( Any advice? :) How are you feeling? Hope you get good news tomorrow too!
MaxwellsMommy - Thursday, 25 September Hey, thanks for the info! This midwife did not tell me she was going to do that she just told me afterwards! It HUUURT too dude! F! She said I was 3cm and 60% so that's good I guess.. though I kind of get the feeling it doesn't mean anything at all ya know? Weren't you 3cm for like a while..?? I want my baby already!!!! SOOO anxious!
pooja2000 - Wednesday, 24 September Great thanks for the tip. I will go with whatever!
JennRunyon524 - Monday, 22 September It was wonderful!! And very much needed! :) It felt soo good to just spend time with the hubby and have romantic nights and not be constantly thinking of all that we still had to do! We also got her nursery completely finished which is a huge relief! Now it's all a waiting game..only 4 more days for me!! How are you doing dear?? Any progress??
