Thank you sooo much for your message! It really makes me feel better. I feel SOOO fat and gross :( I think I have gained 54 lbs I'm pretty sure... SO GOD I hope I don't gain more than 60!! Wow that's amazing you lost 35 right away- probably a lot of water weight (not to mention baby and placenta and stuff!!) I guess. I have heard of people losing like 15 or 20- but whatever I am sure it will be fine. It's just so hard right now. And my midwives know that I am kind of freaked out and upset by it I don't understand why she would make a comment like "how did you gain 4 lbs in one week??" UGH! Well, we're almost done, right?!! :) Hope these last couple weeks go by fast! How're you feeling?

My routine appt goes like this: check weight, temp, and BP. Then wait forever to be called in to see the doc, and still wait forever before they actually come into the room to see me. Then they measure the fundal height and check the baby's heart beat and send me on my way. I hate this hospital and the doctors!!!

They broke my water with my daughter after not dialating anymore past 4cm after being in labor for 16 hrs. I'm just wondering how it will work this time if I don't go into labor naturally. Is it safe to have them break your water without being dialated/effaced? I guess these are questions I need to ask my doc tomorrow when I'm scheduled for the induction. Problem is....I hate these doctors! They act like they got their doctorites out of a cereal box. And they haven't checked me for anything...no sono's to see how big he is ( I have GD), wether or not I'm effaced or dialated at all, nothing! I'm getting so frustrated and it only makes things worse since my hubby isn't here!

Thanks girl! :) I'm glad that the girls on here are so supportive about pretty much everything haha! I'm not working at all so I think it will be easier for me than it was for the other women in my family! I'm not going to buy a pump though until I know for sure that I can do it. I told my husband last night that I was going to try breastfeeding and he was shocked, I think he was a little disappointed because he wanted to help with the feedings but I told him that it would save us money, be better for the baby, etc. so he's happy that I'm going to try! I just decided I have to at least attempt it and see how it is :) Hope you're doing well dear, take care! xoxo

lol ill bet... my sis was all ready with two boys and just had her third... she's only had one girl... so i would have been screwed if i was haven a girl...even tho i wanted one... lol. thats crazy... so did you keep the first one a secret too??? ya i think we are going to have the whole welcome home/baby shower thing too... im excited but super scared at the same time... i am some-what of a big baby... lol.

Oh yes! Our Dr. will charge $100 less for the circumcision if we pay before the delivery. This may just be his practice. I believe it has something to do with him taking care of it in the hospital vs. having to have it done in his Dr.'s. office after birth. But I would definitely encourage you to ask your OBGYN what his or her practice is if it's not covered because you could very well not have to pay the larger amount.

Thanks for your comment on my poll. I tried bringing it up with my husband. I was like honey what is the life insurance policy on me? What woudl you do if something happened. And he shrugged it off. I think that it is too horrible of a thing for him to want to even consider. I hope that everything goes well for you.

Well when your maid is done at your place, send her my way! haha :) Don't freak out, it's just getting down to the wire so you're going through every "what if..?" possibility there could possibly be! You're going to drive yourself crazy if you don't quit it :) Take a breather, sit and relax...and take advantage of these last couple weeks of having only one child :)

Hahaha, I just about spit out my cereal laughing at your "swift kick to the groin" comment! You really are allll belly though! At least you don't have a pumpkin face and turkey hams for arms!! I'm a freaking HEFFER these days, I just can't wait to feel normal again! If in your gut you feel that it's a girl, you're probably right :) Everyone says oh 1 boy and 1 girl is a perfect family..but I'd LOVE to have two girls, my sister and I are soo close and I couldn't imagine growing up without a sister so I want my baby girl to have that too! Either way you guys will fall in love with your baby the moment you lay eyes on him or her! Men always think its a boy though, why is that? haha! Well we're getting so close, I only have 11 more days until my c-section and I feel like these days are going by sooo slowly, there's no way in hell I could do another couple months! Last night my husband said "Only 12 more weeks baby!"..I QUICKLY corrected him and said "12 DAYS, Adam, DAYS not weeks!" Keep me posted on your progress and I can't wait to see pics of your sweet baby! xoxo

Just read your post on the boards and wanted to say that I know what you're feeling. My partner actually works away (2 weeks at work, 1 week home) and I have two other kids so when he's not here it's so hard now let alone once bub comes. :(

How can you be 3.5 cm and no labor???? Maybe you just weren't feeling your contractions... I mean once you are 4cm that is when you DEFINITELY feel them, right? UGH I feel kind of like I don't know ANYTHING! But people have babies all the time how hard can it be right? That's great about watching your neice, is she little??
I did get checked twice. Once because I was in a ton of pain (still don't know what it was) and I was completely long hard closed ya know. nothing. That was 33 weeks maybe.. Then they did it again last Thursday because that's when I was in hosp for the UTI and they just wanted to check I guess... so they said my cervix was soft and beginning to efface and short, but barely dilated (I think they meant closed?) So whatver I don't know what if anything any of that means but I just hope SOOO much that this whole acupuncture plan I've got really works!! It would be so nice to just have this baby already! I can't really imagine missing being pregnant- but that's what people say... Did you miss it after you had your daughter? What does your hubby do? Is he like easily reachable? I worry about that with mine because sometimes he is hard to get a hold of! Ok my back hurts to much to sit up and type anymore lol I need a break. I wonder if you're even still on here. Its 1220 but you live in CA so 1020 hehe... well anyway thanks for reading my like stream of consciousness incoherent mess hehe!

hehe I kind of think we are the only ones who are on here a lot on weekends. My husband has been working a lot of Saturdays that is part of the reason for me... That's soo cute about your daughter! She's 2 right? It was funny when I was 2 my little sister was born but was waaay early. The Drs as well as some book told my mom to wait until the 3rd trimester to tell me so I didn't get to anxious or something. So, I had NO idea what the F was going on when my mom had my sister! She was in the hospital for 40 days so when they finally brought her home I was like Ok um when are we taking her back to the hospital??
I want my baby to come soon because I am SO tired of being pregnant. I honestly haven't really minded it until recently but MY god my back is KILLING me lately and it is getting sooo hard to waddle around! Plus that awful UTI still hurts like hell. I'm just soo anxious to see the baby!!! You stopped working like a long time ago right? I kind of did.. but now I have officially stopped! Yay! Not going back until January! What about you? Oh and maybe spots/ blurred vision is just a symptom of pregnancy! I heard that blurred vision was... Anyway good luck and I hope you have the baby soon (ish) too! Like maybe a couple more weeks, right? You have been 2cm dilated for a while now right? Were you like that with your first? God I feel like I could just ramble on all night I don't know what is wrong w me lol... I am going to stop myself now :)

Hey, thanks babe. You know, I was in SEVERE pain while my bp was high- I went to hospital late at night a couple days ago cause I was crying it hurt soo bad (and I was right, I DID have a UTI!) So, the fact that I was crying and freaking out probably made it go up.. it was SO scary for me though because my bp is always really low and this nurse was all "oh well they might induce you.." I was like Noooo wtf?! (my husband wasn't even there) So anyway I wouldn't have probably even thought about it again except that I have been seeing black spots and just blurry-ness and I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that was a sign of...something lol! Anyway, thanks :)
So, how are you feeling these days? Hopefully your labor will be earlier and shorter than the last one! (that's what they say ya know..) Is your daughter excited to be a big sister?! Well, hope you're doing well! I can't believe we are almost there!!!

Hey did you have preeclampsia last time? I am just wondering because the other day I went to Hosp ( I had a BAAAD UTI) and my bp was like 147/97 and then it went down to normal but I also heard them say I had trace amts of protein in my urine and no one said anything to me about it... I don't really know anything about preeclampsia but if you had it before I was just hoping you could tell me what it is... and like what are the symptoms? Can you still have a totally natural birth if you have it? Does that mean they will definitely induce you?? SOrry for all the questions! You mommies on here who already have babies know so much more than us first timers! :) Thanks for taking time to write me back whenever you can I really appreciate it!
