ashley-blesseddaily - Monday, 24 November I have made a decision.........to keep myself from obsessing I am going to limit myself to this site! I need to compromise with myself and find a happy middle point. ( I realize I sound like a addict lol) For whatever reason my cycles are messed up and I am thinking it is b/c I am stressing and wanting to conceive so badly. So from now on......I will only be on here while I am at work. ( I am sure my boss would love to hear this! lol) But the truth of the matter is when I am at home, I need to focus on my Family and I refuse to allow TTC to take away from them anymore! I think this is a good middle point, after all I still will be talking to you WONDERFUL ladies 5 days a week. (most weeks that is) Mon-Fri 8-5 and the rest of the time I am going to try and keep TTC off my mind. Wish me luck! : )
MCollinsRN - Monday, 24 November Thanks, Jamie! I am so over feeling full! Congrats on the move up in weeks-I'm jealous :) I am hoping to get an US on Dec. 2 at my appt. They typically do not order one until 20 weeks--kinda odd, huh? I will tell them I NEED to be reassured of the heart beat--hopefully that will work! Thanks for your reassurance! I'm shopping for maternity stuff today-the rubber band method is killing me--:)
ashley-blesseddaily - Monday, 24 November I have a question ladies, have any of you ever experienced a missed period without being pregnant? I am currently on CD46. (My cycles are usually 35 days since getting off the pill 5 months ago.) I am wondering if maybe I will just skip a month and go back to normal next month. has anyone done this before? If that is the case then I would be on CD11 and be ovulating in a bout 10 days or so, does that make sense? I did see my doctor last week and he told me to come back in 2 weeks if AF doesn't show up for another PG test, but I am most certain I am not prego. Any thoughts........
ourlittlehogi - Sunday, 23 November so fun to see baby....will you be able to post pics? ok so, i've been thinking a lot about how helpful it would be to have someone with you....i wish i could come help you! it make such a big difference. i can't believe how expensive it is to get a doula in your area! would you be comfortable talking to the midwife about some of this stuff? there are often assistants and other support people connected to the midwife who simply love birth and babies and are super pro-natural birth. i bet you could meet someone and get to know them and have them to your birth free of charge. also, i've been doing a lot of reading on natural birth and almost every book talks about fear making pain worse....maybe you could do some research or reading on that to help you feel a little more in control. it's cool that you're almost to 10 weeks already. that made me feel so much better to get closer to the end of the 1st trimester faster. are you not having any more sickness or fatigue? when will you tell your other kiddos about the new addition?
evh100 - Saturday, 22 November I agree! does the worrying ever end??!! guess that's parenthood!!
evh100 - Saturday, 22 November Just saw your 9 week scan picture! your little bean looks like mine! LOL! Isn't it the most amazing thing to see the hearbeat for the first time! Liz xxx
ashley-blesseddaily - Thursday, 20 November Just curious what your longest cycle was ladies? I am currently on CD43, Doc said come back in 2 weeks for another blood test if it is negative then he would give me something to help start AF, that would be 56days without AF, any other time I would be loving this!
ourlittlehogi - Thursday, 20 November boy, that would be touch. i certainly can't blame you for having a rough go. have you ever considered a doula - the primary role of a doula is to support the mom in labor. they're wonderful and there just for you and your comfort and benefit. if she's a good one i bet she could rope in hubby without him even realizing it too : ). also, the natural birth section on this website has some good conversations going sometimes and a lot of good advocates for what you're looking at too...another thought. i think it's great that you're tackling this stuff so early on - think how ready you'll be by the time you hit 40 weeks!
ashley-blesseddaily - Wednesday, 19 November Blood test is negative! I just don't understand!
ourlittlehogi - Wednesday, 19 November that's some tough stuff! i guess since you don't have a choice to go natural or not i could recommend some resources that have been pretty helpful to me on how to prepare for natural birth. you could spend the next 6+ months preparing mentally instead of focusing on the anticipation and discouragement. also, don't forget that the God you believe in is more than adequate to take your anxiety and turn it into peace as well as give you the strength to bear a child. you were made for this in every way! let me know if you'd like me to recommend some books that were helpful to me....
Kilin - Wednesday, 19 November Wow....thanks for the info. Very helpful!!!!
ashley-blesseddaily - Wednesday, 19 November Well my toe nails are painted and my legs are shaved, ready to go put my feet up in those lovely stirrups! Anything for a BFP right?! My apt is at 8:30 in the morning and I am not sure how I will be able to fall a sleep tonight with it weighing on my mind! I will be CD42 tomorrow and hoping 6 weeks prego!
JeneriksBaby - Wednesday, 19 November OH wow thats Awesome Jamie, how long did it take you to get PG after you had your Tube removed???
Pregolicious - Tuesday, 18 November Thanks for the info!! I have read and heard so many different times so I wasn't for sure. Thanks again for the info and best wishes to you tomorrow. I am sure everything will be fine! Take care!!
last.one.for.me - Tuesday, 18 November Yay! I eventually finished the second canvas painting to match the first one that I did - pic is up of it aswell.. not sure if I've spoiled it with the cogs - but it just looked so plain.. I could always paint them out though...
ourlittlehogi - Tuesday, 18 November i don't think you are a big fat chicken at all. i admire you for even being willing to explore midwifery as an option....a lot of people are wigged out to talk about it. i hope i'm not being pushy about it either. i have just been so excited by the natural, healthy approach they take to birthing...so pro-women. i've seen it empower so many friends and acquaintances. and think you would ultimately really be pleased....it's just about education i think....
JOES-WIFE - Tuesday, 18 November Thank you I will let you know how it goes! Baby dust to you!
Bsbabyblues - Monday, 17 November But wouldn't you have "What Ifs" either way? Anyway - you just answered your own question...you said you want to be comfortable and in a good mindframe!
