Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hey Carrie, I've been checking Miles' progress and it sounds like he's doing awesome! It won't be too long now! I had a question for you, are you using a nipple shield when you nurse? Ethan has a really good latch but the lactation nurse insists that I use a nipple shield until Ethan is 38 to 40 weeks. The thing makes me nuts! It sounds like Miles is doing really great with nursing, so I was just wondering if you are using one or not. Ethan is over 6 pounds now and came home last Saturday. For whatever reason he couldn't pass his car seat test so he's riding in a car bed, but otherwise things are great! It sounds like it won't be too much longer for Miles, how exciting =)

Hey There! I came across your page and wanted to let you know that Ethan will be in my thoughts and prayers. I have a Son who was born at 33 weeks and had to stay in the NICU for what felt like and eternity and I know what you and your Family are going through. I will pray that you will be able to bring Ethan home very soon! Best of luck and keep me posted.~Laura

Thanks for the info. Im doind ok...IM Having slight contractions and they are just keeping eye on me. How is your little cutie pie doing?? Any idea on when you can take him home? Did you deliver vaginally or by c-section??

slvrmoon - Monday, 7 Jan
Of course! Ethan is doing well, he's 5lbs now. I just updated my 'myspace' with some new pictures and a blog. Not a very good blog though - I've had a rough weekend. Anyways, yes definitely keep in touch, I can't wait till we're past this NICU experience.

Congrats on your new baby boy, he is precious! Im glad everything went well. Im still hanging in there. Ill be 31 weeks on Sunday so they want to get me to 3 weeks. I hope I can make it. I do have a question...Were they checking your cervix all along? The last time they checked it the length was 1.5cm. Im not dialated yet, so is that a good sign? I have an NST twice a week. Im also on Nifedipine every 6 hours. So now I just have to wait and see what happens. Was cervix shortening all along? Im so glad everything went weel for you both.

Hi, I just read your story. Please update me I hope all is well. By the way that thumbs up pic is the coolest thing!

slvrmoon - Monday, 31 Dec
Yes, its very hard to find people who know *just* what you're going through. I looked at your journal, what a beautiful baby! The struggles in the NICU are difficult, but I promise that one day its all over and you some what forget how much it hurt at the time. Ethan was born on 12/9 at 29w6days! He is doing really great so far. My daughter who is now 2 was also a preemie, born at 28 weeks. She is amazing and reminds me every day that at some point the NICU ends and regular life begins. If you have access, I also keep a blog on Ethan on my Myspace, www.myspace.com/slvrmoonj Another site you might want to check is shareyourstory.org - its created by the March of Dimes for NICU parents, there is really great information and excellent support there. Good luck to you guys, I look forward to hearing how Miles is doing!

You had your little one?! Wow - tell me about it! How is the new family? All healthy I hope. How exciting! Tell me how your delivery went - I am still going strong and little one is rolling around inside letting me know its happy still in its little world. I am excited to be at 30 weeks though - wow it seems so close - baby will be here sooner than I know it! How exciting - a new little one in your home - Congratulations!!!!

I couldn't feel my contractions either! (You said you had painless ones.) Maybe I thought it was just back pain, IDK. Glad I'm not the only one. I was in the hospital with my last pregnancy at 35 weeks and the monitor showed them every 15 min. and I couldn't feel them.

KTPUM - Friday, 5 Oct
I am sure you will do fine.. You should only have to have the shot twice. I will have to have it done a total of 3 times because I had an amnio done.
Your Dr. should give you and RH- card to carry with you.

mjgardner - Friday, 5 Oct
I'm glad that the Lord worked everything out for your pregnancy and I do hope that God helps your husband recovery quickly from the side effects. We are not finding out what we are having. We wanted it this way but also even if we had wanted to know the baby wouldn't show us at the ultrasound - stubborn little one (like 'its' parents) didn't want to move where the sonographer wanted. Anyway, we've started sifting through names: for the boys the name options are (as current): Gideon Gardner or Zane Gardner; for the girls: Adoree Gardner, Hayley Gardner, or Gail Gardner. As far as Titusville and where I am from - I am near Harrisburg - PA's capital down closer to the southeastern part of the state where as Titusville is northwestern. My husband is from between the two near State College, PA! Hope all continued to go well for you and that this little beautiful miracle inside of you grows healthy and strong. God bless you both - He has indeed created this little one inside of you and he's got that little one in his hands - no better place is there?!

KTPUM - Friday, 5 Oct
On the right side of your behind. The medicine hurts worse then the shot itself. At least for me, I have quite a bit of cusion back there..LOL

mjgardner - Thursday, 4 Oct
I appreciate your page and the scripture on it. Isn't it amazing how God is busy forming each miraculous part inside of you?! I am just amazed!! I'm due the same day and thought I'd say hello! HOpe you are enjoying your pregnancy as much as I am. God bless!

srv4lvr - Friday, 21 Sep

Thanks for the message Carrie! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one whose nausea got worse! It's nice to talk to people who are going through it at the same time. I love your page, and I love the verse at the top!
