juels101 - Sunday, 19 October Oh WOW, that is awesome! I sure hope you have her soon. I hope they are over estimating on ours as well since they think it's big... but I'm a big girl so if it is, I'll be okay. Awwww poor guys eh, they go through a lot too, us more physically but they deserve some sympathy too!!! I'll keep you posted, and ditto for you!!!!!!!!!!! ^_- ttfn.
adriennella - Saturday, 18 October You're up so early.
This end time is just so hard, no matter what. You are really progressing, I promise. Shayla's coming out so soon. Those cramps are your body getting ready and lots of times, those are the first contractions. I had days of contractions and some people don't even have the big ones until the very last hours. Your time will come, honey. I'd guess it'll be within days.
Isn't it just like those Europeans to beat us to it! I'd fly to Italy to get you one of those tests (ok, not just to get you a test...I'd have to stay for a visit).
You are alwyas so sweet. You (and my heart) make me feel that Rose is the most beautiful baby.
Make sure you jot down these last minute adventures and feelings. Maybe take the time to write little Shayla a letter about your feelings and what you and Adam are doing in these last moments before she arrives. These moments are so special even in their frustration.
vipbaby68123 - Friday, 17 October It was incredible! The staff at the hospital here was fantastic!
adriennella - Friday, 17 October oh my gosh, Jen!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you. You're going to have a perfect little baby so soon.
My family's good. I'm loving this time with Rose. It got a bit overwhelming last week and I had a touch of post partum blues/ panic. Russell did a great job taking care of me and the baby and everything's so much better. Hormones are no joke.
Rose is getting more hair (still pretty mullet-like) and making little coos and smiles at me. She's the best baby.
please keep me updated. I know that it's hard to stay in touch when the baby first comes. Make sure to take care of yourself and enjoy those sweet first moments.
mommy2be1108 - Thursday, 16 October thanks! i ordered the rug from walmart online and it only took a couple of days to get there
amy4483 - Thursday, 16 October So here is my update. Little Molly is still breech so my Dr is going to put me in the schedule for a C section for 2 weeks from today. Oct 29th at 8 or 10am. If both times are taken, I will choose another day. So for the next 2 weeks I will try everything I can to get her to turn and if she stays breech than we will just go for the c section. I don't want to have to worry about anything else, like an inversion and more pain etc. Now I can just try to enjoy the last two weeks of life with just the 2 of us. Unless she decides to come earlier. So thats it for now, I will hear by friday as to what date and time we will meet our little princess. Thanks everyone!
juels101 - Wednesday, 15 October Wow, that is VERY exciting, hopefully it WILL be soon!!! I'm not sure what they would do for high bloody pressure, guess it depends on how high? I'm sure it'll be okay, and bed rest doesen't sound so bad HAHA. I'm doing alright, doc on friday which is always exciting, but I'm super over emotional... poor Chris is all I have to say! The doc said the baby is already 8lb 8oz, but with Adailyah they said when I was 8.5mo that she was already olmost 8, but she was born 8 days late at 8lbs, so I'm not so sure I believe them. Can't wait to see yours, you guys will make such pretty babies ^_-
juels101 - Wednesday, 15 October 19 more days... I just saw that on my profile and can't believe it. How are you feeling?
muffin-in-the-oven - Wednesday, 15 October I hit a little bump in the road of pregnancy this last week with baby. She was measuring 2 weeks ahead and still is so the doc sent me for another glucose test the same one I took before just to make sure that I still don't have gestational diabetes bc my number was very close the first time to having to take the 3 hr one but the results came back good than they sent me for another ultrasound which was nice bc the last time I saw my baby girl was at week 20 the reason they did all of this is bc I'm measuring big so they wanted to see if I'm going to have a big baby or there's just a lot of fluid in my belly. It was just a big baby they said she's estimated at 7.9 lbs today and they estimated at the time of birth her weight should be 8.9 -9.3 ouch that might hurt! I was hoping for a small one but now more than ever I hope I go into labor before the due date bc I would like for her to be born vaginally rather than abdominally, but I'm just going to have to roll with the punches. So this week I think I'm going to return all the newborn clothing since she's most definately not going to fit into any of it, luckily I don't have much to return.
How is everything with you? Are you still hanging in there at work? I stopped working a week ago which I couldn't be happier about just kind of boring sitting around just trying to be a good house wife since I'm not working I have to work a bit more at home. The nursery is finally almost complete I never thought the day would come, now all I have to do is put the crib and bassinet together that should be in by Oct 20th bc the crib was recalled that I originally got for her so we had to order a new one.
Just a couple more weeks and we'll have some beautiful baby girls in our arms. I just CAN'T WAIT! If there was a way I could break my water and get the show on the road I would do it haha maybe not ?!?! I think that we decided on Lydia but we still have Gabriella in the back of our minds too, we'll just have to see when the day comes.
amy4483 - Tuesday, 14 October Hi Girls! I need some advice. My baby is still breech at 37 weeks and I need to make a decision by tomorrow as to what I'm going to do. Have a C section or try the inversion which is not pleasant and could end in a c section anyway. Its such a hard decision. I feel like I will be missing out on a natural birth by not trying but it seems safer to go with the C section for me and the baby. And I guess it would be nice to skip the labor part! Its all I can think about and I loose sleep over it. Anyone going through the same thing? Hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for babies!!!!!
