Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Someone in the same boat!!

I had glucose in my urine last week so i'm hoping it was a one off. But it is hard isn't it. Other then the SPD i have been having a great pregnancy, no headaches, constipation, heartburn, i have felt great. I stil feel good, i'm just trying really hard not to let the SPD get to me but some days its too much. Last week she pushed my pubis bone back into place, i was in agony allweekend, and tears tears tears.

I too can't wait to have to baby in my arms!
Take it easy and i know the holidays are punishment i hope on the 9th i don't have GD!

Hey. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for the encouragement. I went to diabetic training this morning and it was very informative. I still feel kinda bummed about the fact that I won't be able to enjoy my Thanksg iving, but that is trivial, I know. I have to test my self 4 times a day, watch my diet and carb intake, and excercise (walk for 15 min. 5 times a week). I'm not thrilled about having to prick myself, but it's worth it to have a healthy baby. It's going to be a learning curve to deal with, but I'm confident that I can do it. the eating 6 times a day is going to be the hardest thing. Usually I only eat 2 times. Lunch and dinner. Not the best routine, I know, but it has suited me for a long time. Did you have to test our urine for ketones? I do. Every morning, I have to pee on a stick to make sure I'm not spilling ketones. Basically that means I'm not burning and stored fat which breaks down into ketones and can pass through the placenta (not good for baby) and then is passed through the urine. Anyway, I'm always up for a chalenge, but I feel like this whole pregnancy thing has been a challenge.
I hope everything is going well with you. again, I thank you for the info. If I have any questions I will definately ask. Good luck!

I had the same upbringing as you and left as well. It's a weird thing now. My family is being polite about the pregnancy but even though I left when I was 20 (I'm 35 now) and have a great marriage and healthy, happy home, they still act like they disapprove. It's hard to know how much to share with them.
