Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

OMG!! im getting induced on monday too. im so excited!!!but i have to be there by 4am. im just so nervous cause i dont know what to expect. im only 2cm dialated and thats all i know. the doc didnt explain anything to me, she just said shell see us there. i dont know how effaced i am either. im scared though the last thing i waant is to be there a long time, nor do i want a c-section. i kinda regret asking for it, but oh well. it seems so close yet so far. i cant wait!!! good luck with the whole thing, and thanks for the info, i needed some notice.

Thanks Jes- She has been quite busy today, almost like she is saying, Don't worry mom I'm okay. Maybe she could sense my stress yesterday? Who knows, they are so smart before they even get here. The funny thing is I am the sluggish one today :-)

storm826 - Tuesday, 13 May
i hate the waiting. i sometimes wish i had a set date that i knew the baby was coming so i could stop wondering. i'm such a planner, i hate not knowing when baby is making her appearance!

storm826 - Monday, 12 May
the website that i came across said that nipple stimulation was pretty successful because doing so released some hormone that causes the uterus to contract. but yea, i think your right, the baby will come when it is ready.

storm826 - Monday, 12 May
just got back from my ob and she didn't check me this time so i guess i'll have to wait another week to find out if the curry worked! she did do an external exam and told me the baby's head was making its way down, so i guess thats a start, lol. i am so tired of being pregnant! i was looking around online for ways to induce labor and i got a little worried because one website i found said to be careful if you plan on trying to induce yourself before 40 weeks. since the u/s can be off by 2 weeks, you run the risk of delivering a preemie baby if you trick your body into starting labor. so, i think im going to lay off the sex and curry for a while, lol, just in case...

luvmy-buninoven - Monday, 12 May
LOL.... I'm tellin you girl...... :)

storm826 - Sunday, 11 May
i haven't really seen any positive results from eating curry. i had my first internal exam on monday and it didn't seem like i was dilated at all. i haven't experienced any braxton hicks contractions as yet either, so i have a feeling i will end up getting induced well after everyone else in our week has their baby, lol!

luvmy-buninoven - Saturday, 10 May
Just get the epi as soon as you can, contractions are not fun!! :)

luvmy-buninoven - Friday, 9 May
I read the horror stories too, and it was very painful, but only because of the epi not working.... and I wasn't mentally prepared for natural birth. It was an experience for sure. Just remember to stay calm and work with your contractions - not against them. :) Good luck and I hope your birth goes just as yu plan. When is your induction date?

missannie - Friday, 9 May
oh i hope that's true about the big babies sleeping better!! that might be a better trade in the end! while all these mommies are having tiny ones that cry all night, i'll be the mom with the little chunker sound asleep in the crib :) good luck to you too! let me know how things turn out!

kat112 - Thursday, 8 May
Thanks for the info! I ended up going to the doc today to get hooked up to the monitor. All was fine when I was there. The doc said sometimes when they drop you might feel less movement. I was so worried because she's normally REALLY active. At least now I can sleep tonight. Thanks again!

IraqiMom - Thursday, 8 May
thank you honey, hope u doing ok!!

jenlove - Thursday, 8 May
Your post was too funny! i am going to have to share that 'bit on the side' comment with my husband, could be fun! :) I miss my rings too. I can still wear my wedding band sometimes, I never had it sized so it was always too big. My engagement ring no way! Can't wait to have it back! Thanks for the laugh.. hope you're feeling great!

melissa-s - Thursday, 8 May

MariaC - Wednesday, 7 May
Go position????!!! He feels like he is hanging out!! lol!!

It's much better to go natural, I've heard that inductions can take days and I'm not the patient type!!! xXx

MariaC - Tuesday, 6 May
