trying4baby3 - Saturday, 9 August Hi there, things I ate I am trying to remember as it was 71/2 years ago - I know pizza and fried rice was a no no - I think as long as you are eating fresh things you should be right - but I was having to prick my finger and I remembered that I had had fried rice and my sugar levels sky rocketed! Good luck though and keep me posted!
professorpreggers - Thursday, 7 August sorry to hear about all the death's in your family. I'm sure that's putting quite a drain on you! As far as being tired goes, I was exhausted and remain exhausted even now in the last 5 weeks of pregnancy. People all swore that the second trimester would be full of energy and I'd feel great, but I never did. It's normal to be so tired. You might want to get your blood checked just to be sure you're not low on iron. I did eventually start to eat more iron rich foods and felt a little better. Don't worry about school right now. Pregnancy is not the time to make any major life decisions about school or anything else. It's totally normal to feel lost--most of it is the huge hormonal surges we are dealing with and there are huge emotional consequences with these. Trust me, I may be further along in school but I’ve had my moments of total melt down with no idea who I was or what I wanted out of life. Have the baby and you're recover from all the stress of pregnancy and a newborn, then see what steps you can take toward finishing. Don't either put pressure on yourself to feel a certain way during pregnancy. I've felt like I've been hit by a truck for the last nine months. My husband's cousin is a few weeks behind me in her pregnancy and she always looks so svelte, stunning and healthy. It's not the same for any two people and for some it's just to be endured for the sake of the end result. I in fact hate being pregnant, lol. Be easy on yourself and try to sleep as much as possible. It WILL get better for you:)
surprise3 - Thursday, 7 August my pregnancy is going well. no complants. Sometimes i don't know if I look pregnant or just fat. I've only gained 7 lbs though.
My highest weight was 324 (and that's not pregnant) 200 or 248 is skinny, lol.
when's your next pre-natal exam?
professorpreggers - Tuesday, 5 August aw, you sound like you have the exhaustion induced pregnancy blues! Try to get some extra sleep when you can! It's totally normal to feel your baby way down low right now. At 24 weeks your uterus isn't more than about 24 centimeters high. Up until about 29 weeks, I only felt him really low down. It took a long time to start feeling kicks above my navel and now at almost 34 weeks, he doesn’t even do that all that much. He's never gone and kicked me in the ribs like books say they will in the last couple of months of pregnancy, but he's totally fine. Some days all I feel is his butt rolling around, some days I only feel his legs and some days I only feel his head and arms--it all depends on the baby, but don't worry! Your baby is going to be just fine! I understand that you are scared--I get very scared too A LOT of the time and it’s often resulted in a bit of a state of depression and fear, but try to force yourself to be positive. A lot of good can come from being positive--picture your healthy happy baby in your arms in a few more months time. It's going to be ok! .

professorpreggers - Tuesday, 29 July No worries. Your baby is still really little. At one of my early ultrasounds, the tech showed me how much he was moving but how far he was from actually touching the wall of the uterus. You'll get your movement soon but it probably won't be regular until about 28 weeks. Even then, My dr tells me that if I feel him once a day, I shouldn't worry. You'll get to know your baby's pattern and you'll be able to relax about it. Take care
