Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Laura Ward - Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

butterblocksmom - Sunday, 3 Feb It is SO normal to worry...even though every one tells you not to! Keep in mind as well, when you are moving and walking arund, that rocks baby to sleep. When you are still, eating or sleeping, baby gets restless. Trust me in 5 or 6 weeks when baby is kicking you like mad at 2 a.m. and you can't sleep you will wonder why you wanted the movements so much!!! My little guy goes NOTS from 10-12 but I am in such a deep sleep I don't feel it. DH comes to bed and holds on to my belly and is amazed it doesn't wake me up! When I am in a light sleep stage (ie 2:00-4:00) baby gets bored and is playing around and it keeps me awake for hours!!! LOL!!! I have heard you can tell alot about their wake/sleep patterns from how thety are in the womb.
My one girlfriend has two dayghters and their personality in the womb matches their personalities now. The one was all elbows, fists and kicks...drove her mommy nuts....she is very high spirited now. Her other daughter was a 'slow roller' and there were very few kicks, just long slow lazy turns and rolls. She's still like that, totally mellow, calm and just very 'chill'.
Good luck, keep in touch and when baby is keeping you awake at 3:00 in the morning in the next few weeks, post me....I'm sure I'll be awake!
mummy2nearly5 - Monday, 28 Jan Hiya Thank you for comment on boy/girl pic, we also think the scan looks like a lil boy, however, when we had scan taken we did find out its a lil girl, how deceiving lol thanks again xx
HDugan26 - Saturday, 26 Jan Thanks for your comment! I still feel like I just look chubby instead of pregnant! I really haven't gained too much weight and dr. says I just have to get 15 lbs. in! I don't think that will be a problem, but posted the pic just to see what everyone thought...and still 'under' showing I guess! I keep telling myself that's less that I have to lose after the baby! As long as he's healthy!
lealea2 - Wednesday, 23 Jan hi there. so when did you find out that you where rhesus neg? I found out a couple of days ago. I also had bleeding at 12 weeks and no body told me anything. Should i be worried? How are you feeling about being a parent?? hope you are well
summerisis - Sunday, 20 Jan Here's some cloth diaper info that I have. I've taken it from the book 'Diaper Free Baby.'
1. It's easier to know your child's elimination patterns with a cloth diaper because it is not designed to feel dry even after a baby has peed in it.
2. Prefold diapers are rectangular pieces of cotton or hemp sewn together to make a thick layer of cloth.
3. Chinese or Diaper-Service Quality diapers are cloth diaper 'aficianado' favorites. You can pin them or just lay them inside a diaper cover. They often fasten with Velcro and the diaper cover rarely needs to be washed.
4. 'Fitted diapers' stay on a baby even without a cover. They are gathered at the legs and waist and they fasten either with snaps or Velcro. They're like training pants and are easy to handle like disposables.
5. Cloth diapers are cheaper than disposables because you never discard a dry diaper.
6. 'Pocket diapers' are made of a waterproof outer layer and a fleece inner lining with an absorbent insert . The fleece wick moisture away when an immediate change is not possible or for use at night. There's a little pocket for 'checking moisture.' (But like disposables, it's hard to tell if Baby has gone pee.) Fuzzi Bunz is a favorite brand of these.
7. Bumpkins makes and 'all in one' that's a flannel diaper and waterproof covers sewn together... They're expensive though.
I hope that's helpful.
MommyJewels - Saturday, 19 Jan Lol I'm 21 weeks Sunday and my tummy looks smaller. It is because your uterus is higher above your belly now so it is spread out more. We will fill out those bellies soon:)
mommymcgraw - Thursday, 17 Jan That is exactly what my hubby says. But when I show him that other women are going through it, he says thats where I got the idea from! So, i am not making it up, I am just copying symptoms!
sherriJH - Thursday, 17 Jan The good news is that you still have lots of time for someone to give you a shower. My baby is due Feb 14 & my church is giving me a shower this Saturday. One thing you might want to consider is ask your Mom or a friend to go register at Target (or somewhere else) with you. I took a friend when I registered and she was almost more excited about it than I was & we are both looking forward to my shower to see what I get off my registry. Maybe that will inspire them to get off their butts to give you a shower. Any chance that they are trying to surprise you with a shower? If by chance you don't have any place local to register you can always set it up online & then e-mail your registry to your friends & family & that might help motivate them to give you a shower too. Just curious, did anyone give you a bridal shower when you got married? Good luck! I hope someone steps up & blesses you with a shower.
