I am taking him to a local pediatric dental office - it's owned by the doctors themselves... I've heard great things about them from other people I know who've taken their little ones there. I haven't heard about them using a papoose.. but one person I know said they gave her sone gas to help keep him calm and it worked wonders! LOL - So I guess we'll see what happens!

Thanks for responding! I definitely expect him to cry! But I just wasn't exactly sure what they do... so they basically do an exam to make sure they are all healthy and put on a protective varnish? Anything loud, like the polisher or anything?

 This is a great photo, you've gotta love the little monkeys don't you! My 6 year old is so big on 'making' we have stuff made out of egg cartons and toilet rolls and boxes etc. all over the house... it's so cool they can see some cardboard and just think 'telescope'!
