Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Thanks for your reply! YES everything is different as far as diapers and other things. It's crazy. I remember when my daughter was born in 1991 I used pampers only and everytime I would change her I would have to run her diaper to the outside garbadge if it was a dirty one. Now with my son, I use Huggies as I have learned that I like Huggies for a boy and Pampers for a girl. Now we have the diaper genie or any other diaper pail that you can toss the dirty diapers in and not have to worry about the smell! I love that thing!! I guess it's the little things that now make me happy. The young girls now having babies don't know any different. It's funny! Enjoy your pregnancy and all the little things that you will now discover for your baby. Christy

Hey Kelly-

This past June I resigned on the mother/baby/Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (OB float). I am currently teaching clinicals for a local community college. I miss the floor, however make sooo much more money and work a fraction of the time + no WE/holidays--finally!! I am currently in grad school to get my MSN for my Family NP...teaching clinicals allows flexibility as well, so as much as I miss the floor, I can't go back at the present.

I could probably work til the end--however, when I was pregnant with my son I worked the floor and it nearly killed me. I worked the weekend before I delivered him. It was tough though! Adolescent psych, huh? Interesting! Probably very rewarding at times as well! I've always been interested in that field.

202 days to go for us!! Yippee--how are you feeling? I am at the point where I am feeling great--pukiness is gone!!

Kelly - I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS! I too started a family after my daughter was 16 1/2. I have a 15 mon old son and now I am prego with #3. I am now 41 and sometimes think that I am crazy for starting all over again. But everything has been great and I am excited to meet the newest member of my family. Best wishes and good luck to you. Feel free to write anytime. Christy
