With my first baby I had a rash that started on my stomach and eventually went onto my hands and then legs and it drove me crazy. My doctor said it was PUPPS. It's an allergy to the placenta as strange as that sounds but not harmful to the baby. The only thing that could be potentially harmful is sleepless nights which I started getting because it itched so bad. If this is what you have, he may offer you a steroid to help get rid of it. I actually decided to not use the steroid because I hate using medicine while I'm pregnant. If you look up PUPPS on like a yahoo search engine you'll find lots of information. Also, my doctor said that this rash is something not all doctors are even informed of. Anyways, hope that info. helps in case that's what you have.

Hola :)
Yes, we did classes. The breathing excercises from Lamaze helped me the most when I went into labor. Ya know there is a child consignment store on Curry Rd in Rotterdam. I live right down the road. I will get the address and more info when I drive past again.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. You are just now showing? Oh my, being this is my second I popped out in the first 8 weeeks, lol I was pretty shocked actually. I am gaining weight like crazy. I have gained 11 lbs already. I will shed it quickly though after the baby. I try and stay fit now and go to the gym a couple times a week. The one thing noone prepared me for when I had the worst was one thing I want to share with you. The WORST pain of the whole labor/delivery process is AFTER the fact. I was good in the delivery and I went to sleep that night....woke up crying in pain. The reason for this was my uterus regaining normal structure. OUCH. The nurse never woke me up in the middle of my sleep for my meds, so I advise you to make sure your nurse wakes you for your meds if not you may encounter the terrible experience I did. It was just terrible.

Only one kick and it just felt like a slight poke inside. I get little feelings here and there but nothing as strong as I had the other night. Be patient it will come soon!!

I know, we went back and forth on whether to do the screening or not. My husband was more passionate about not doing it than I was so he tipped the scale. But I know what you mean about preparing. I thought about that too. Did I tell you a felt a definate kick last night? It was so amazing!!!

Your birthday is coming up! Mine is on the 20th of February! I'm looking forward to it. My sister and law and husband have something planned, and I have no idea what it is! Don't be nervous about your appt. - everything will be fine! We've made it this far right? I crave orange juice as well. My worst craving is bacon, which is sooo unhealthy, ha ha ha. And I can never get enough water, I am soooo thirsty all the darn time! It's snowing here, I hope the kids have off school tomorrow, or have a late start so we can sleep in, I'm so tired! I'm heading off to take a nap. TAke care of yourself and keep in touch :)

How are you feeling?

tj73 - Tuesday, 12 Feb
Hi There,

How are you feeling? My next appt. March 6th, does seem far far away!!! But this month should go fast because we have sooo much going on! Valentine's Day, my birthday, and our anniversary! Have you had any cravings lately?

wedward **PINK** - Tuesday, 12 Feb
Here's some info on that screening your getting. http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregnancy/psecondtri/0,,43hz,00.html
I don't think we are going to do any of the screenings. It wouldn't make a difference anyways and they are inaccurate so often. My friend had the NT test and it came back with a 35% chance of her having a downs baby, but she came out fine. They worried for 5 months for nothing. We are just going to pray for the best.

Your so funny! I wonder if they'll freeze dry and send??? :)
I know I've gained weight since my last appt. But I don't seem to be showing that much. It just looks like I've been eating a lot. I do think I have felt him kick though, very light feeling that I only feel sometimes when I'm sitting still. Now you've got me in the mood for Chinese food. I might have to get my favorite tonight, cashew nut chicken, spicy add broccolli!!!

I know. I cant wait to get the first kick.. I know the baby is moving casue i always have to pee. I think it does a dance on my bladder.. How have you been feeling

wedward **PINK** - Friday, 8 Feb
I have to have chocolate chip cookies every night with a big glass of milk. Good way to pack on the pounds , huh? I limit myself to three though. I eat a lot of eggs. Probably about 8-10 a week. I read that you don't have to worry about cholesterol as much when your pregnant. Oranges, I love navel oranges everyday and spinach. I have that pretty much everyday. The only aversion that I have had is fish. I haven't eaten fish since I found out I was pg. Shrimp is okay though. I used to eat salmon at least once a week, but now the smell, UHGGGGGG!!!!

Hey Kel!
How are things with you lately? Any news? I'm feeling pretty good except for a touch of a cold. I can't wait for spring to get here. Warm weather and closer to seeing out little ones!!

Hi There,
I have my 2nd appt. for my integrated screen bloodwork on Feb 14th - Valentine's Day! I just have a regular appt. today. You are too funny, drinking a soda to try to get the baby moving, maybe I should try that! Ha ha ha. It may just be too early ... but I swear I feel flutters from time to time also! I hope you are doing well. Keep in touch!

Jaclyn82 - Wednesday, 6 Feb
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I bet your soooo excited for the baby to come. My 1st was exciting! These headaches are weird. I dont have them all day just sometimes. Last night i actually had like a hot flash laying in bed and felt i guess maybe gas in my chest. I get so paranoid that i am like... OK am i having a heart attack. haha Its been almost 5years since pregnant so i guess some stuff slipped the brain. Congrats on being pregnant!!!!

tj73 - Wednesday, 6 Feb
Hey There,
I think it's totally likely, that with more sugar than usually, you can feel flutters of movement this early .... I swear I feel fluttering from time to time, but then, I always wonder if it's just my stomach acting up! Not much new here.. I have an appt tomorrow, and I'm nervous as usual. Hope you are doing well :)

Beckaboo - Monday, 4 Feb
Hola
I was too chicken to do all those tests, lol I am afraid to find out if something is wrong with the baby. I would be a mess if I found out while the baby was still in my womb. If it was serious, ya never want to aboard a child, but to have a baby with Spina Bifida would be next to impossible for me (mentally and emotinally) to care for. I am sure everything will go smooth for you. Oh you mentioned 'I am still having bouts of ms although for a couple of weeks I was feeling good.'. I wasnt sure if you meant PMS or if you had MS.
I hope you have a fabulous day my dear :)
Reb~

Thanks! I am having a little trouble thinking about calling an infant Pierce though. It seems so grown up. He might have to have a nickname while he's little. My dad's nickname when he was little was Peeby. I think that's so cute. I love the name Foster. Have you considered it for a first name? It's so strong and different. That's what I wanted was something different.

TJ73 - Friday, 1 Feb
Hey There,

Here's a suggestion.. could you maybe work 3 days a week? And stay home 2? We did that we our last child, financially, it was tough.... my son went to a local day care 3 days a week and that was hard for me ... but we had to do it. If your friend offered to care for your baby, that's awesome!! Day care is sooo expensive these days! It was good hearing from you. Have a great weekend!

TJ73 - Friday, 1 Feb
I forgot to say ... thanks so much for your encouraging words! I do hope I'm destined for a healthy baby! 2008 is looking good so far........ :)

TJ73 - Friday, 1 Feb
I am so glad to hear that other people have tummies now! I was starting to think it's only me!!! I know, waiting until 20 wks to find out the sex ... so long! I don't have another ultrasound until March 6th, so i may have to wait until then! Unless I can convince my dr. to do one earlier!!! Will you be taking a lot of time off when the baby comes?
