I am going to deliver at Bellevue. Loved it there with my first born (Alexa). They were more than I expected. Are you going to find out the sex at 18weeks? I have to. I am such a planner and I need to know, lol

I am so glad your scan went well. Isn't it nerve racking going in there? I'm glad mine's over too ! I'm feeling very tired, you? I am wondering if it's normal to need to many naps! Ha ha ha.

Yeah, I guess I was lucky b/c at the specialist thaey have a more sensitive machine that can pick up on the gender earlier. She did say that she was 90% sure so I guess there's always a hint of doubt. But you can see the part on the photo so I'm pretty confident. We go back on 2/22. By then they should be able to tell for sure that this baby is healthy, but I am very optimistic!

Had a great appointment! Thanks for asking. I put my u/s photo on my page but it did not come out very clear. It was so amazing seeing him/her jumping around and being so active. I can't wait to feel that movement!! There's more on my page if you'd like to visit...

Glad you were able to hear the heart beat! That's so inicredible. When is your nuchal screening rescheduled for? I had mine last Thursday, all is well and everything looks good! Thank goodness. Drop me a line when you get a chance!

Hey, I saw your post about the reschedule! I bet you were unhappy to say the least. If your like me you count down the days to these appts. When they do something like that it is soooo disappointing! Hey can you believe, snow in the deep south. We're supposed to get 2-4 inches and the city is shutting down. You know how idiotic us southerners are about the snow! Funny!!!

Hey - i have an appt. tomorrow also! I'm nervous. I always feel so nervous ahead of time. And that's funny that you said you were feeling great over the weekend, i felt the same way. Yes, I wasn't on the computer for a few days due to my stomach issues. How are you feeling? Anything new with you? My baby's heart beat is nice and strong, thank goodness. I'm sooooo tired though, wish i could drink lots and lots of Coca Cola!

Thanks for the message. The emergency scan went fine. I got to see my lil one. He/She was not moving much ...maybe sleeping :-) but we could see the strong heart bit. It wasnt a formal scan so we did not get any measurements. But I am happy as it is. Also doc found out that I have a condition called cervical eversion, which is probably causing my intermittent spotting/bleeding. Its reassuring that it has nothing to do with the baby. She did a pap for me and I will know the results soon. I was so happy to see the baby that I forgot to ask her anything else. I have a formal appointment on friday. Hope you and you lil one are doing great :-). xxxx

Is all of that screening done through an ultrasound? I have that screening scheduled for Tuesday, then I have my regular dr appt for Thursday. Seems weird.... Anyway, good luck at yours!!

Ha ha You sound exactly the same as me I was convinced something was wrong cos I felt normal... we will find out if everything is OK tomorrow I can't wait t see the little one again... Let me know how it goes.x x x x

I don't know if it is a NY state law that you have to get a docs note, but here you don't. I just ordered mine over the web. The best but most expensive one is at babybeats.com. I got mine from Hi Bebe. It's only a 2mghz when the babybeats is a 3 mghz. I don't know if it matters though when your this far along. Babybeats is in the high $400's to buy but you can rent for $25/mo. I bought the Hi Bebe for $115 and it came with gel.

Sorry you are feeling so lousy. So far I have eluded the dreaded winter time cold. I am still feeling a lot of m/s but last all day most days and is worse at night. I still have never thrown up though which is great. The doppler is kind of hit or miss. I think it depends what position the baby is in at the time. I listened again today and heard it. It was 174 bpm and I was so happy. I don't listen everyday, but the last time I tried I couldn't find it. I'm not letting it freak me out though b/c I know baby is so small right now. If you get one, just keep in mind you might not always hear it right now and decide if you can handle that.
