lisa*andy - Thursday, 23 October Hiya. U know i never seem to have much time to get on here since ellie-mae has been born. by the time ive made her breakfast gave her a bath cleaned the house done the washing prepared tea and so on and on and on LOL theres no time left and then the day has almost gone...... Anyways the dummy thing haha isnt it strange how we use different words ive always known it as a dummy, mind u Andy and i had row upon row over weather to give our baby a dummy (pacifier) he always said no it was a bad thing but then he heard her lungs lol so shes had 1 from an early age....
I always wished id had another baby soon after james then he would of had company as a child and now i think ellie-mae will be the same as the age gap is to big maybe next year we will plan another baby...... (((BIG HUGS)))
Finlaysmum - Wednesday, 22 October Hiya, how are you? No I'm not on facebook - am not a fan of it really. Hopefully we should start building soon but the contracts seem to be taking an eternity. Finlay is more like Rob. Well I am off to bed - I hate Rob being away. I miss having him to snuggle in to! take care.
bluejeans - Wednesday, 22 October yeah i have a boy and girl so i am DONE!!! i would have been done either way so im glad i had a girl. he loves having a sister and always wants to kiss her every now and then he will just walk up and smack her tho so ive learnt the signs now!! i love both of them names i wanted grace but my bf didnt and if i had a boy i wanted jack but i knew someone close with the same name so i couldnt. when are u having your next one??
Gracies5th - Tuesday, 21 October Have any of you ever had a child get really bloodshot eyes during a cold? i mean it happened overnight, i'm not sure if it's from straining while coughing during the night, but they haven't cleared and this is day 2, i've used eye drops (like visine) and it has no effect. i'm very curious and hopeful it goes away soon. she's feeling better today but her eyes are still red. hasn't had a fever or anything, just a runny nose and cough. any advice or info would be great. thanks
Finlaysmum - Monday, 20 October Aw, she is looking pretty cute!!! Girl's clothes are so much nicer!!!
Finlaysmum - Monday, 20 October Hiya, yeah I am bored with Rob away so I am catching up on emails and surfing this site (Finlay is asleep!). He has blue eyes! You have been good not eating choc - I ate a whole pack of tim tams lat night (now my stash is empty!). We are in process of starting a house build but everything takes so bloody long (contracts, etc). I want it built like yesterday! That's great that you have some help!!! You can have a well deserved break!!! Off to look at your new pics!
Finlaysmum - Friday, 17 October Glad that you are feeling better!! I am bored and lonely with Rob being away and I've eaten too much chocolate today!
bluejeans - Thursday, 16 October i was from wollongong but i moved to wyoming about a year ago now i like wollongong better tho! how do you like wyong?
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 16 October Hiya, how are you today? Hope that you got a good sleep. It must be hard being home alone for so long during the day. Maybe you should make a pact to do something as a family for say an hour on the sunday, like go for lunch or the park or something. We try to do that since rob is away so often. I hate the first few days and there are a few tears but I try and keep myself occupied so I don't think about things too much. have you joined a mums group? Sometimes it is good to talk to other mums. Or can your mum take Katie so that you can have some "you time". Being a mum is the hardest thing but you are doing a great job, and every baby has bad days. If someone says that they have the perfect baby they are telling porkies!!! Take care and hope that you have a good day!
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 16 October Try some cool boiled water - when Finlay won't take his milk, sometimes he will take that and it helps with wind too. Or put a teether in the freezer and let her munch on that?
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 16 October Maybe katie's teeth are moving under her gums. Apparently they can move up and down from an early age and it can be painful. Finlay has been really unsettled a few times due to that. I can see a few pushing out at the sides but nothing breaking through the top as yet. His poor gums are red and swollen. Yes we are going home to see my family - we have 3 weeks there and then a few days in HK to visit my aunt on the way home. Rob is working so it will just be the 2 of us. We tried solids but he still has that tongue reflex so we have stopped for now.kx
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 16 October Hiya, how are you both? Well done on the weight loss. That is great and will motivate you to keep going. We are good although Finlay is teething so he has been a bit grumpy today. Rob is away with work for 3 weeks so it is going to be a bit tiring on my own. Only 3 and a half weeks until we go to Scotland though!
bluejeans - Thursday, 16 October Thanks for your comments, it made me realise that im worring over nothing so now im getting excited about my night out YAY!!! im from the central coast as well congratulations on your daughter she is so cute.
lisa*andy - Tuesday, 14 October Hi There - I think ur right some babies are different, i just knew the milk wasnt satisfying ellie-mae and it got to the point where i was giving her a bottle every two hours (good job im not breast feeding lol)... We went out and brought a box of baby rice and she hated it and spat it right out but i did persivere and now she loves it i buy different flavours so she dosent get bored... Yeah my son james is 15 BIG age gap lol but i was a single mum for so long and dedicated my life soley to him then i met andy and he and james hit it off straight away and i thought nows the time to put myself first for a change (hope i dont sound selfish).... So how many babies are you thinking of having? lol .......
