Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

coltonsmom - Friday, 25 July OMG!! She's sooooo cute!! Everything is going well with this pregnancy, I can't believe how fast it's going by, almost 30 weeks now. When I was carrying our son (who is now 11 months old) every day was an eternity but he keeps me so busy, I don't have time to sit and dwell on waiting for the big day. hahahaha
missjess - Tuesday, 22 July sorry i didnt comment back for so long! well i gave him 2 oz of water, and then realized it was the formula we had him on. i was trying the thicker formula with a a rice formula base or something for spitting up b/c he seemed to be throwing up all when he ate. i really hated that stuff b/c it was impossible to get the formula shakin into the water good enough and it would block the nipple therefore keeping my lil man from getting anything into his mouth, which he did NOT like! lol. so i switched him back to his old formula and wallah! no more hard poopies! but i will def. try the prune juice in the future if we run across the prob. again. thanx! your baby is soooo cute by the way!
coltonsmom - Tuesday, 22 July Holy cow, I just read your post on the premature page, 9 lbs. 4 oz., and a month early!! WOW!! :) That's incredible. I'm trying to figure out what is a month early, would it be 34 weeks pregnant or 36 weeks pregnant? I ask because my OBGYN said that full term is 38 weeks although the due date is technically 40 weeks. Would love to hear back. - Thanks.
penelopiepink - Tuesday, 1 July yeah the doc told me that too. she is pooping about every other day now. I am happy with that and she does not look uncomfy anymore.
cks - Friday, 6 June Hey sis-in-law!! Thought I'd look you up while I'm on here!! How are you and my beautiful niece doing?? I'm home alone right now and bored - Trev has been at a friend's since last night. Talk later! Call me about the mohawk stuff when you get a chance!
bobbette89 - Wednesday, 30 April bless your heart. i know what you are going through. i havea history of having kidney stones and they always have to go in and get them as i have a malformation of my rt ureter and they get hung up, lithotripsy hasnt ever even worked for me.
i am takeing darvocet for pain and when it becomes intolerable, mepergan fortis. i have been hospitalized every month since feb for IV pain meds.
my perinatologist talked me out of having an amnio. my ob was suggesting i have one at 36 wks to see if his lungs are mature.
but the perinatologist said lung function is all the amnio checks for. he said it doesnt check for sucking maturity, stomach and/or intestinal function or anything else. and he said at 36 wks 40% of baby boys lungs arent ready. then i would have gone through the pain for nothing as i would still want to wait until his lungs were mature.
the baby is already bigger than average, he was 5 lbs 8 oz last week. but we dont know if his organs are ready...so i am kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
so i just taking one day at a time, trying my best to deal with the pain of the stone and stent and kidney blockage and swollen kidney....
i go back to my reg OB thursday hopefully he will suggest inducing at 38 or 39 wks, but i dont really think he will. he has had not so good experience at inducing and delivering baby boys at 38 wks and their lungs werent ready.
So, i dont know what gonna happen. i am just ready for this pain to be over with, but more than that i want a healthy baby that gets to come home with me and not have to stay in the NICU.
i hope everything goes good with your delivery this week. when is it exactly? keep me posted and take care bobbette
sierratoad - Sunday, 27 April I just wanted to stop in and say hi....have not done so in about 15 weeks....oops! I saw that you were in the hospital on bed rest.....I understand. They just sent me home after 3 days and told me NOT TO GET UP! I am monitoring the sugars out the wazoo, eating right, and wearing my special panty hose to keep the edema down. My little guy is measuring 9 pounds right now and the dr still won't take him. However, we scheduled a c-section for the 12th. I really wanted to have a baby....not a sumo wrestler...but I am okay with it! I will be a mom, the day after mother's day! Hang in there and you will be a mom in no time!
bobbette89 - Saturday, 26 April i see you are in week 36, i am week 35. i too have kidney stones and have been sufffering with them since feb. had a stent placed in feb but still am not able to pass the stone. i am in bad pain everday due to the stone and stent and my rt kidney is also swollen. the baby also presses on my rt ureter and makes it painful and sometimes impossible to urinate. i have been hospitialized in feb, march and april d/t the pain and this last time for pain and infection around the stent. my dr hasnt suggested inducing early. i am having a boy and i know their lung development is slower than girls. i am just at my wit's end. its basically like i am in labor everyday from this pain the stone/stent/ kidney blockage causes. i take mild pain meds and that helps somewhat. i was just wondering how you cope with the pain? and how long youve had the kidney stones? and if your symptoms sound like mine... at least yours is about to be over. my ob says after i deliver while the epidural is still in place, he will remove the stone and stent. i wish you all the best. keep me posted (((hugs))) bobbette
dedra40 - Saturday, 26 April Hello there.. I saw your post in 36 weeks (I'm not quite there.. two more days to go, but I read ahead sometimes). I live in Lexington, so I'm not too far from you. I wouldn't be too worried about your baby having a birthday around the Derby. If I would've grown up with a birthday having anything to do with horses, I'd love it, but that's me. My husband's birthday is on the 3rd and he doesn't worry with it. He would've never known when the Derby is if we hadn't have moved here. So maybe it won't be a big deal. Also, hubby's name is Jesse. Just thought I'd share because we have a couple things in common. Good luck though.. hope all goes well. Hang in there!
Alexis08 - Sunday, 20 April Hope u get better... were almost there be over soon.. :)

havinababyinmay - Sunday, 20 April I hope you feel better and aren't too bored anymore. Just out of curiousity are you a type 1 diabetic?
martina26 - Friday, 29 Feb please baby please write all of this stuff down, you not only could write a book, but you could take this act on the road. I love ur MIL posts they make my day. Your doing a great job taking it all in stride lol. Congrats and take care babe ;)
Carmione - Tuesday, 19 Feb There is also Short Term Disability that you may be eligible for at a percentage of what your wages are. You would have had to have signed up for this benefit during open enrollment at your job in order to be eligible for it. Check with your human resources manager to ask them to look, explain if you are signed up for this. It's tricky, yes- but it's worth a second look. Human resources can be a major pain in the butt sometimes. I went through what you are going through myself years ago. Hope this note helped you some. hugs to ya!
niseybear - Tuesday, 19 Feb Basically what you're being told about FMLA is the truth. You are ONLY allowed 12 weeks and if you don't return in that time you can and most likely will be fired. Maybe if your job offers a sick leave of some sort you can use that too or even your vacation time if you need more. I only took 5 weeks of the 12 because that was all hubby and I could afford. Good luck!
Mariac - Tuesday, 29 Jan Thank you, it makes me feel so much better knowing its not only me acting like a loopy-lou!!!! LOL xXx
bigbellyjess - Friday, 25 Jan i'm going crady too!!!! I can't stand my mother in Law and work has become like hell. I am always on this web site and trying to get on the net looking at baby stuff as much as I can. I am tired and my back hurts because the baby is growing towards the back cause of my inverted uterus. I feel you darling!!! I feel your pain and frustration!!! Don't you wish our husbands were rich and we could stay home and shop in top notch neighborhoods for our little ones clothes and cribs and all that jazz?
nmck - Friday, 25 Jan Congratulations on fabulous news!!
