Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

joonluv - Wednesday, 3 December i forgot to mention that to sleep i try to dress my son very comfortable. maybe a sleeper or a t-shirt and comfy pants. i also bathe him every 3 days and in the evening before bedtime. it usually helps him fall asleep better.
joonluv - Wednesday, 3 December hey thanks for the advice on the teething. well i'm not breastfeeding. i did for about 1.5months but due to an emergency gall bladder surgery i had when my son was 5 weeks, i couldn't breastfeed anymore so he is now on Soy Formula. Anyway, to get him to sleep all night I try to keep him awake at least 2-3 hours before bedtime (which is anywhere between 10pm and 11pm.) he then sleeps all night and will wake only once to feed. so i have no problem with him sleeping through the night. he also gets really cold hands and feet but at night since he sleeps with us on the bed, he's usually warm. i would suggest putting mittens on your baby if the hands seem to get really cold. other than that, i'm sure your baby will develop a regular sleeping pattern as the months pass by. :)
jlg70383 - Monday, 1 December i have the sleep sense program book if you would like me to email it to you just send me your email
puppiesandbabies - Monday, 1 December My baby was sleeping 6 hours straight and all of a sudden started to wake up every 2 hr. I realized he had a dry nose with buggers and after i treated that he is back at his old self. Sometimes a little something wont let them sleep. I hope you can find out what it is. Ohh and Iam so sorry for your pup's leg. I have 3 and they are fine, I dont know what would I do with one of the furry babies sick.
parkersmommy1 - Monday, 1 December hey. if you find something to help your baby sleep more, let me know. my son was sleeping 8-10 hours straight, now all of a sudden, hes awake every 1-2 hours wanting his soother back in his mouth. my mom spent the weekend and slept in his room. she said it was warm and dry in there at night, so im gonig to try to turn the heat down and use a humidifier. she said when she woke with a dry mouth, she could hear him trying to work up some saliva, and then thats when he wanted hi soother. if it works for me, i'll let you know
godzuki - Tuesday, 25 November Hi, my baby was born Aug. 6th and he seems to sleep more and cry more also. I think the guidelines are just that and every baby is different so I am not too concerned.
MishaC - Wednesday, 19 November I got my birth stories up.
MishaC - Wednesday, 19 November I'm sad for my son that he had such a horrible start in life. I was considered to have "no prenatal care" and he was baraged by constant poking and proding and they attached a sticker to his genitals for his first 24 hours to catch urine to sample. I remember when we took him home he was looking around and I had to explain to him that life is not like that here on the outside. I wouldn't even think about having this new baby at a hospital. My husband has reservations too but we are fortunately close in case of emergency.
LM232 - Tuesday, 11 November i didnt have any back pain at all, the epi was the best thing that could have happened to me!! It allowed me to really enjoy my labor and the delivery was completely painless.
m0th3r2b - Monday, 10 November In response to the epidural..I've had some back pain but it's been tolerable from the epidural. I think it was totally worth it but i was induced and i think the contractions were more excruciating than they would've been if i wasn't induced. I would do it again, it saved me.
mickyg0606 - Sunday, 9 November It doesn't have to be every feeding. My son seems to have more trouble in the evenings. They put my son on Prevacid once a day and it has made a world of a difference. He had to have an upper GI to determine that he for sure had reflux because he doesn't have the common spitting up that most reflux babies have (which is why they call it silent reflux). Test just required him to drink die then they did an ultrasound. If you don't feel comfortable giving meds there are other things you can try first like elevating the crib matress, nursing in more upward postition, keeping baby in upward position for 15 min. after feeding, also heard a lot of people have had luck with colic calm (natural product), etc. I would suggest looking reflux or gerds up on the internet because there is a lot of info. There is a site called mothers wearing puke that has a lot of good info. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
mickyg0606 - Saturday, 8 November I saw your post on the breastfeeding site about your baby appearing to be in pain while eatting. Is there any chance she might have reflux. My little guy did the same thing and we found out that he had silent reflux which means he doesn't spit up. The reflux comes up then he swallows it back down. It is very painful and causes them to arch and pull off while eating. Just thought I would share. Some of the symptoms are: hiccups more than 3 times a day, wet burps or unable to burp, lots of crying, back arching, eating trouble, choking or coughing.
