Baby3OnWay - Wednesday, 16 April
Just ingnore those ignorat people. I too have been through this and go through this daily. I'm near;y 24 and I am on my third baby in less then three years. Only you and your hubby know what your getting yourself into REALLY!! CONGRATS TO YOU and stay positive!

Lilybee - Wednesday, 16 April
In my opinion a nice way to respond to the negativity would be something like: "We feel so blessed to be pregnant with this baby; many don't find true love and still others aren't able to have children; we've been given both and have hoped for this for quite some time now. We're so very happy that our dreams our coming true." --- The best way to combat a sour spirit is to express joy and thankfulness for your life and all you've been given. You'll also be giving the gift of a positive outlook to whomever you're speaking with!

And you know what, it's nobody's business whether you decide to have children now or in ten years... I don't understand people who say things like that... I can't imagine EVER saying anything to anyone about a choice like that... and I bet for some people, )the ones who aren't married yet or don't have kids yet), part of them is jealous that you are at that point in your life now. I know it's easy to say ignore them, easier said then done... but enjoy your pregnancy DESPITE them... because if you are mature enough to be in an established relationship with your husband and discuss and plan this pregnancy, you are more than ready to have a child. And some of us are more mature and established in our lives in our 20's than others in their 30's... and I say, good for us!!

Its funny you should say that because one of the odd things about my pregnancy was that my progesterone was really abnormally high in the beginning, which was one of the reasons they checked and found a twin there... I mean, I doubt its that high anymore because the twin stopped growing, but who knows?? Anyway, it definitely feels like my digestion is very abnormally slow, whatever the reason. thanks for the info.

I'm 27 so just a tad bit older than you. Reciently I had a woman who was obviously not married and child free ask me if I really knew what I'm getting myself into. I wanted to say, a little late now isn't it? Instead I said we know our lives are changed for ever. Some people really need to get some class and zip it. You could tell the next jerk who says that to you, that you Do want to be able to enjoy and play with your grand children, instead of watching them from a wheel chair. :)

I have an appt coming up on Monday and Im hoping the doc gives me an u/s then I can find out earlier if its a boy or girl. I think its a boy though. Are you going to find out? Do you have a feeling of what it might be?

BabyGonzales - Tuesday, 15 April
Read your post.. I cant believe someone could be so rude and say something like that, especially to someone they dont know. I have no idea how to say it in a nice way lol I think if it were me.. my words would come back kinda rude to them. Well congrats on your pregnancy sweety.

oh, and a HUGE PS.
the DTS series is AMAZING! ima have to take a few pics of my tattoos, because all my arm tat's are related to the series ^^ a little obsessive- but they are a beautiful set of books that ... you know, touch your heart sort of :)
at any rate, King steals a lot of themes, imagery and symbols from buddhism, and tolkien (who in turn stole his from old norse mythology, etc) and several other sources. so if nothing else, it's an interesting piece to study if you are a lit major (i used to be)

i plan on reading the "redwall" series to my babys- another GREAT series :) lighthearted and whimsical- but written beautifully!

and yah, Roland is definitely a popular name for people that have read the books ^^ Also, Marines seem to love the series ^^ They sort of associate with Roland- a "seemingly cold person, with high morals, good character, a hidden heart of gold, and good aim"

My husband and I had both read the series- and so when we met each other I was "soooo in love" because I love a well read man :D sexay!

jessikaamberjean - Friday, 11 April
Thank you! Im so excited! So how are you feeling?

happyinvention - Friday, 11 April
oh jeez! don't get me started on how much i ADORE the name Roland :)

have you ever read DTS? the gunslinger series- by steven king? talk about: best books ever written! Roland is the main character (usually) and he's just... great.

I couldn't name the baby Roland... just because of that AWESOME series! After I finished up the series- there's only one Roland for me :)

and poor Glitch :( The diahrea was just bacterial- but he's going to be getting a soup diet the rest of his kitty life! oh well :) hes my favorite kitty :) he's curled up between my laptop and my legs right now, and its adorable :)

OFF TO MEBBE FIND OUT WHAT BEBE EZ!

(yay!)

happyinvention - Friday, 11 April
ooo

a very important PS.

we decided against "tristan" and "autumn" for the baby names >< it turns out Tristan means "sad" or "sorrowful" >< and I just can't name a baby something like that!

Chris doesn't particularly care for Autumn (not what he said a month ago, liar!) but we both still love Jade :)

so we are back to the drawing board for boys :) I still like Benjamin, Quinn and Nolan though :D

happyinvention - Friday, 11 April
ah! i got the email this morning; but skipped over it in favor of my thousand other mommytype emails >
