CarolineS - Friday, 25 April We would definitely like to try to find out the sex....I like to prepare things :) What about you guys?
I can see how living in Fredricksburg would be different than visiting (My husband's father has never been a very involved father...so we only make it up there to visit about once a year) ...The place in Seattle sounds wonderful! My good friend lived in Seattle for a while--I'll have to ask her if she's ever eaten there (what is the name of it?)
Random question--do you know if you can have a water birth in any hospitals? (I know when I was reading about the hospital I'll be going to, they talk about the tub...but I wasn't quite sure if that indicated anything)
CarolineS - Friday, 25 April I just read your story of telling your husband you were pregnant--so very cute! Also, this is random..but my husband has a bunch of family up in Fredricksburg. It's a nice area...And that ice cream place-Karl's is very yummy!
MommyKatRN - Thursday, 24 April things are okay for me this week... I'm loving the weather!! I'm anxious to feel him move, I don't really feel anything consistent yet... how are things going for you? Are you feeling movement yet??
Lilybee - Tuesday, 22 April No, no preference. We are thrilled no matter if boy or girl!!! We're praying for a healthy baby; we'll be overjoyed at that! My husband and I were just married in November and became pregnant in December. The wedding planning was absolutely crazy --- we did it all in 3 months and it was a fairly large wedding. There were so many last minute details that made me crazy. I'm very spontaneous and even procrastinate often. Since we just went through all of that madness, it would be nice to have baby room and accessories ready to go. This needing to know stuff is not my normal M.O. lol... :)

Lilybee - Monday, 21 April Hey! Yes, my husband and I are both really excited about finding out the sex of the baby on May 6th. My brother and his wife are due in the middle of May and are waiting to find out. I just want to have everything ready... nursery, clothes, etc. before baby comes because I just KNOW how hectic it would be to try and do shopping and set-up after baby arrives. Besides, a surprise is a surprise no matter if it's a five month wait or a nine month wait. Waiting for almost 5 months is a sufficient length of time for a surprise for me! We'll be surprised in 2 weeks b/c we have no idea right now what our little sweetie is :)
MommyKatRN - Thursday, 17 April Honestly, it makes me waaaay more neurotic... and my boss is my doc!! So she's always saying things like "hmm, it's different when you're on the other side of things, isn't it??"... and when you have access to all the stuff (you know, dopplers, we have an u/s machine too)... you become a crazy person. I'm very lucky for having all of the girls I work with keeping me sane. When I start being crazy they remind me that... well... I'm fine and I'm being crazy:-) We're naming him Holden Patrick.
isabell21 - Wednesday, 16 April Well, my parents had children significantly young, they were barely 18 when my sister was born and 22 when I was born. They are both turning 50 this year, and I think they feel the same way you do, about having us kids out of the house. My husbands parents were the same way.
