I take great comfort in knowing that even without 100% compliance Nixon's feet look great. I keep it in mind every evening when I don't have Tristan's bar on just because I need to hold him without it and because he's never gotten used to it.

My searching I found several referrences to the boots but no example. I went to the International Ponseti website and sent them a message to ask about it, surely they would know more.

I'm really hoping for good results with Tristan's treatment but would be willing to extend out the daytime use with something like the Pedro boots.

The doctor said so far it's looking good and that is with my limited time I make him wear the bar. He's in it about 50% of the day. If the Pedro boots were an option... oh my gosh I'd be so 100% in compliance!

When you hear about the Pedro boots let me know too because I agree... I'd much rather do something like that instead of the bar.

The mitchell bar looks lighter in the pictures and instead of lacing shoes there are sandal looking things the feet slide into.

I think I'll do a little on-line research on the Pedro boots.

I really want to thank you for being here for me as I'm going through the issues with the boots and bar... it helps to have someone who knows what it's like and how we as mommies feel.

Did I tell you they are going to change us to the Mitchell bar? I'm told it's suppose to be easier on us and the baby. We'll see. Personally anything short of nothing at all is the only way I see it as being easier. I weighed the shoes and bar one time, it was almost a pound. That's a lot of weight coming down on Tristan's legs and ankle. No wonder he doesn't sleep well sometimes.

The boots/bar are going just terrible. I hate the stupid bar. It's in the way all the time and Tristan just cries about it to the point that I eventually give in and take it off. They are going to change it to the Mitchell bar to see if there is any better luck with it. I've also been struggling with depression terrible... I never thought I would be someone to get it and yet here I am struggling with depression.

Hello Ladies! I got some news for you all!

Last night I was in the emergency room again for my kidneys, UHG!
They did an ultrasound since that's all they can do with me being pregnant.. The little bit of blood I told all of you about was from a kidney stone, the baby is PERFECT.

Now time for the SHOCKING news..
My mom came into the ultrasound with me and asked the ultrasound tech if she could see her grandsons penis, ahaha!
Well the lady kept looking around for his bottom, found it, and well to everyone's surprise.. IT'S A GiRL!
There was NO penis, 3 little lines! All of those tests, Intelligender & My first ultrasound where false!
I was a little upset because I was so excited for a boy and have so much boy stuff but i'm still happy because the baby is healthy and weighs a pound! =]
She was kicking and drinking the amniotic fluid, It was so precious. I'd laugh everytime she'd open her mouth and swallow. Her cheeks would look like they got huge when she closed her mouth to swallow. The lady got a pic of it, it looks like she was blowing up her cheeks and sticking her lips out! haha
I'll post it on here =]

So thats my news for the day, my kidneys are okay, just a stone! They gave me some pain medicine and sent me home, the medicine made the baby kick me harder than she ( feels weird to say she ) Has ever kicked before. haha. =]

Hello Ladies!
I have a question for you all.
I'm in my 22nd week of pregnancy, 23rd on Sunday and when I just went to the bathroom I notices a small tiny drop of blood.
I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but I can't help it but worry about everything =[
Has this happened to any one?
No pain or cramping.. just a small drop of blood.

Hello Ladies! How are all of you doing?

I'm good here! 22 weeks & 3 days! I'm starting to get a little bigger & I notice my belly buttons slowly getting closer to come out!
I had a doctors apt on Monday, They said the ultrasound came back great & the baby is doing just fine & has everything he's supposed to have! =]
The heart beat was really strong at 156 bpm
I'm so excited everything's going well!
Hope all is well with you ladies!!

Also, Update on the boyfriend situation! He thought he could still be slick & play me, Guess what, He was WRONG! I caught him again, haha sucker!!!
I'm no longer talking to him! GOOD FOR ME!
Me & My friend Rj are getting very close and he seems to really wanna be here for me & my baby. I hope it works out...
