thanks for your response! I too, was susposed to put greyson on Neocate but he REFUSED to take it and has never taken a bottle, so I had no choice but to do an ellmination diet, which thank goodness worked. The GI doctor did the RAST test, testing Greyson for the 20, most common allergies, all of which came back normal. So I am hoping that he will outgrow this and not have any long term issues. Thanks again!

Hi... my son is nine months old and I read your post about your son having problems with dairy and was wondering what signs you noticed that led you to that? My son has a dairy/soy allergy and had blood in his stool starting at five weeks to almost seven months. I am nursing and went on an elmination diet (orange veggies, rice and chicken or turkey) for close to five months before it really started to improve. I am just wondering what his symptoms where and how he reacted to dairy when you gave it to him??? I have to introduce dairy at 1 year and am curious about what to expect.

Thanks for responding! I guess I'm scared because my son is tiny!! He didn't even hit the 50 percent tile! The subsitute doc said not to worry but when his doc came back she was like ur sons head is big I wanna see him in a week! He might have water on his brain! *so scared* but he looks absolutly normal to me!! Anyways thanks again!! And I will update you!! Take care!!

It was really scary. But he's a tough little guy. The only time he ever acted like anything bothered him was when he was being held down my the doctors for tests and things. I LOVE little boys!! Since then he has had stitches in his face and more cuts and bruises than I can count, but nothing ever slows him down. With my daughter, I can accidentally step on her toe and she will cry for a week.
How is your brother doing? Any news from the hospital?

Your son is adorable. I was sure it was a boy. I was shocked when I found out girl but thrilled. Can't wait. My mom and I are like best friends and I hope my daughter and I are the same. I would have loved a boy too. Either way I would have been happy.

I have been feeling great. I have a sore lower back. I think it's siatica. Keeps me up alot of nights. Other then that. I feel perfect.

My Dr. said to a 4 but I think they will let it go just a little further if the baby doesn't show any signs of stress.

That stinks! let me know when you get back. My levels dropped to a 5 so they wanted to monitor the baby. They were going to keep me for 24 hours but they said the baby looked so good they let me go home last night. I have to get another ultrasound Friday and they will do another bio physical profile on her.
