So how did it go? I had my appt. and ended up getting admitted for the whole day! They said the baby looked great and they let me come home. I have another ultrasound on Friday.

Hi Lin... I am glad Tristan's bar snaps off, but I must admit it does make it a little too convenient to just not put it on. I do make sure the shoes are on and at a week out I'm noticing his feet aren't turning back yet. I'm really good about making sure it's all in place at bedtime.

That first bath was terrific. We waited a few days to let his foot and leg reduce in sensitivity. He didn't cry or get upset, he seemed to like his bath. We took pictures and video.

Lin, Tristan got his cast off and is now in his boots/bar. The type of bar they gave for him can be easily snapped on/off so I can take off the bar (leaving the shoes on) to feed him! It's a lot better than I feared. He does have some redness on the top of his foot from the lacing but other than that he isn't resisting or fussy about any of it.
