hi, thanku for the post, no i wasnt scheduled for c-section, i woke up wed 5th march at 7am, stood up out of bed,to give my partner a kiss goodbye for work,then my waters broke!! went into hosp,i was 3cm dilated, felt to see how baby was lying,she was transverse, so said i have to have c-section , i was gob smacked, really upset, cos wanted to experience vaginal, but some 5 hours later into contractions, they were what seemed to be every minute, i screamed i couldnt take any more,then they took me into theatre,it was 1.30pm when i went in, there was 5 other serious c-sections before me, thats why i had to wait and experience all those contactions!!! i wasnt best pleased... but it was worth it, i found it really hard after birth because i couldnt move, so felt really useless, when she cryed i couldnt just lean over cot to pick her up, i am ok now tho, just taking it steady, i cant believe she is here already, its all happened so fast!! good luck with your birth,hope it all goes well, xx

Hi ya,
I haven't had an enternal this whole pregnancy so have no idea if i'm dialated or not. Lucky you, must be nice to know that your on your way. Good luck with the primrose oil, I laugh when I 'take' mine, seems such an odd thing to do, it better work is all i can say!!!
Have been doing the sex thing too, at least thats a fun way to bring on labour :-)

Hi ya,
Yes I have heard about evening primrose oil...but you don't take it as such, you insert it! I have just started so I hope it works as it seems like a awful big effort if it doesnt. Am also taking raspberry leaf tea. Have heard about castor oil too but it sounds nasty, the way it works is gives you such bad diahorea that it sets off contractions...nasty! Good luck, let me know how you get on.

I'm taking 1000mg tablets of evening primrose oil. It is not supposed to bring on labor, just prepare your cervix for when it starts. I've also gotten some rapsberry leave tea which is supposed to tone your uterus but will also not bring on labor. I figure the combo of both of these should make castor oil more effective in a month or so if he hasn't made his entrance into the world :-)

lol i just saw the halloween pic that even more sweet. lol he'll break some hearts when hes older. It must make all the things youve known with your first pregnancy that happen this time just as exciting with a little one so interested in it. Atleast you know you have a good little helper when you have this one. Ive been feeling okay, ive not had too much trouble with my pregnancy, few bleed but not connected to the baby and a bit of morning sickness here and there, and well motion sickness lately lol. The good old sleepless nights are my biggest problem atm lol but other than that im good. lol antisipating the birth of my little girl. 72 days seems so long away but i know it will be here before i know it lol

hey linzee.. how are ya? I read your blog about the baby possibly being big. what percentile is he in, did the doctor say? do you think you will be induced? my baby is in the 90percentile and is estimated to be near 8lbs. but they said the same thing about my daughter and she was 7lbs 13 oz.
anyhow, i hear ya on the marital problems, my husband & I have had our moments so to speak with this pregnancy, guys just dont understand. they think we are being mean b/c we are pregnant or even better, when we complain, like 'whats wrong' ugh!! i feel like saying, DONT ASK just take the hint and help out. lol it always ends up working out in the end.
well, I wish you and your family good luck with the delivery of the baby. are you dilated at all?
I'm having a c-section Tuesday morning.3/11 sooo glad, i'm done with feeling like i need a forklift to get out of bed, lmao. ugh.. i'm soo clumsy, i feel like i'm in a fog sometimes.
anyways..keep me updated!

Oh yeah...i got 3D pics taken at 30 weeks. they arent the best, the plecenta was bein used as a pillow but you can still see his face...chubby lil cheeks!
i will post them SOON! My scanner needs to be replaced.

Hi there, I just read your page and your circumstances are like mine, my first son was over 10lbs on my due date and had a big head so would not come naturally so I had a c-section. I tooan measuring big again so im lucky that they have sort of said that another c-section is probably the way to go, I was a little worried after the doc said usually your second is bigger than the first. I hope they listen to you and induce you early, do you agree we have a gut instinct of what is right for us. Good luck with everything X

I still can't believe in just 2 weeks i'm going to be a mom..hopefully she comes sooner!
I got put on like a bedrest/maternity leave from school yesterday..eh..so now i have to be on my side like alot during the day.
Kinda stinks, but i'm over it.
How is evertything going for you?
