mommyxs3 - Monday, 7 July Well, I'm glad to know it's normal. LOL! I dialated to 4 with my son without feeling a thing so sometimes I think I read more into things than I need to. I'm ok with her being in a little longer, I just wanted to know what I was going through wasn't unusual. And, apparently, neither one of us is having any luck. LOL. Oh well, it won't be long! Thanks for posting! :)
AChance2Dream - Monday, 7 July Haha David and I have only gone walking once so far and it was like a 5 min walk how lame! Yeah the heat is finally getting to me. Whenever we go out I find myself trying to sit after awhile because it gets too much and I get really tired really fast.
So any labor signs yet?!!
I am sooo not doing castor oil (I say that now though hehe) It just doesn't sound very pleasant and my sister tried it and it didn't work for her. I can't imagine what you are going through, I am already having a really hard time sleeping because like you said I have to get up and pee or the baby is moving and waking me up. I am actully beyond tired at work right now because I have been up since 3am just watching the baby stories on tv because I had to get up and pee and I couldn't fall back asleep. Good thing I can put off actually doing stuff until later this week and kind of just stare into space today. I am trying to figure out the whole baby shower thing now, like who to invite and which shower to invite them to (I am having 2)I haven't even started registering and people are already bugging me about it! Grrr people!
Mommyjewels - Monday, 7 July Finally read your blog. Did you talk to Ryan? Are you feeling any better about things? How are you feeling? Are you ready for this baby now??? Thinking of you...Jewels
carlybarleyx - Monday, 7 July lol I know! When I was in labour with Abby I thought I just needed at poo! What do the pains feel like? How far apart are they? xxx
autumnandbabygirl - Monday, 7 July I read your post of the weight issue, its very true. The weight does come off. But we all wish it came off a little faster....lol. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I tried so hard not to gain any weight, but like you said it just happens. Anywho I wish you tons of luck. I hope you have a safe labour and delivery.
scorpgrl20 - Monday, 7 July I read your posting about having cramps. I have them too but not as many as you. They come twice in an hour. Does your stomach get hard too? Mine doesn't, I thought if they were contractions my stomach would tighten up, so I really don't know what these pains are.
carlybarleyx - Sunday, 6 July You have every right to feel the way you did! If it was my husband I'd be so annoyed that he seemed to be putting his ex first. Baby has been going absolutely beserk the last couple of days! I can see elbows, knees and even a foot! There is constantly a bum poking out too lol. How are you feeling? Excited? xx
carlybarleyx - Saturday, 5 July yeah I've tried everything and the only thing that seems to get it moving is boiled sweets! How are you feeling about things now? xxx
CanadianNat - Saturday, 5 July Ok, well that is great that it went so well and that he completely understands. Now don't you feel better? lol. You can yap to me whenever you want I don't do much these days and I've got very good ears..haha. anywho, I'm glad everything is super now. I'm heading to the beach with my family so hopefully I don't pass out..lol. Have a good day and I'll ttyl!!
hotmomma - Saturday, 5 July I have a book that says you should contact your Dr if you have violent nausea and vomitting, it could cause dehydration. All the best! Hope you are feeling better.
carlybarleyx - Friday, 4 July Hi hun, glad all the support is making you feel a bit better. Sometimes just writing things down helps. Thing is, baby is definitely moving 10 times in 24 hours but just not as much as it was doing a couple of days ago and the things that normally would get it moving dont. Dont really know what to do! I suppose its just running out of room? xxx
CanadianNat - Friday, 4 July Good luck hun..I'm sure he will completely understand and your worried for nothing.
CanadianNat - Friday, 4 July lol..I feel the same way when I look at my stomach right now...like how and the heck can my stomach get any bigger..lol
CanadianNat - Friday, 4 July Hmmm, yes that is just a weird situation. I don't know what to say really...other than your a very understanding and patient woman. I'm not sure if I would be as understanding as you are but then again I don't know your bf...it's just a really odd thing to have to deal with. Maybe you still should talk to Ryan about it though...because this is still on your mind all the time right now and you are going back and forth with your opinion if it is ok or something for you to worry about isn't it? I'd just do it for your own piece of mind. I wouldn't care if she is good friends with his parents or not she's an untrusting person. Why kind of person would always bring up" when Ryan and I were dating in front of the new gf all the time without a alterior motive to make you jealous?" BAH...I dunno though, that's just what I think...maybe she is just completely clueless...lol. Hope it all works out good though and you can relax about the situation. Your bf is seriously lucky to have you.
AChance2Dream - Friday, 4 July Haha you are too funny!! I bet you get that from people who have already had kids too huh...you would think they know that it isn't a comfort to say that.
I know kind of know what you mean it was 113 degrees(F) here today and it is almost unbearable to even go outside. Thats why I said I would go walking at night so at least the sun isn't beating down on me.
Maybe you could just walk in circles in you apartment hehe like do laps I am not sure what helps labor progress besides walking and maybe intercourse hehe you can try that(no pulling out though)
I am hoping that because I am on a bowling league that helps me
AChance2Dream - Thursday, 3 July I feel 100% better today haha! My back still bothers me by the end of the day sitting in a chair all day and my feet get sore but everything else is going good for me. I am going to start walking at night with the dogs because I just need something to do when I get home to relax and I don't like just laying around so I am going to make david walk with me.
Can you believe you are what 37 weeks?! You seriously have 3 weeks until you are 40 weeks!!! CRAZY! I bet that is how I am going to be when I get that close haha..thinking that every little thing is me going into labor! Have you had any braxton hicks? Are you nervous about the delievery?
ChristineA - Thursday, 3 July Things are going great! And EEK...I'm getting excited! I'm officially finished work...I was going to go until July 4, but what I figured what the heck am I trying to prove anyways? So I finished June 25. I still haven't really had the chance to take a break anyways!! Today I'm going to the doctor's so I reeeally hope she checks me out. I feel the baby's been super low for like a week now and I'd really like to know if I'm effaced or dilated yet!! How are things with you?? Do you feel that things are moving along? Has the doc filled you in on anything? Is it getting hot there? It sure is hot over here. Yesterday afternoon I vacuumed the car thinking we'd have time to install the base for the car seat, and then we didn't so I did all that in the thick heat for nothin'!! Ahh well, maybe tonight. Besides that I'm all set for the baby to come. Yesterday I found some of those little pyjamas that look like a little gown with the elastic at the bottom...anyways they were originally 12$ for 2.20$ I was stoked so got two identical ones. I guess they are really handy for nightime diaper changes. I also got myself some cheap high-waisted granny panties as suggested in my child birthing class. They suggest highwaisted in case of c-section and cheap so you just throw them out 'cause they'll likely get soiled anyways. I had not thought of that. They also suggest chapstick...also something I never thought of. One thing that is super hard to find is pyjamas with a top that opens...I really don't want to pay top price at a maternity store...hmmm...maybe the men's section could have something like that! Anyways, hope everything is going well with you!!! Fill me in!! Christine
gr8scottswife - Thursday, 3 July So sorry to hear about the watermelon. I have been craving it for two weeks now, so I bought some last night, and what do you know. . . my ankles swelled a little even though I had 6 bottles of water and juice. I did not cut into the melon since I noticed the swelling after 9:30 p.m.
Even if it doesn't work, I'm going to eat a ton of it because it's so good, especially with salt.
Best wishes for the swelling. You don't have long now, so you'll be able to hang in there for just a minute longer.
