We are pregnant with our second child! I did not expect to get pregnant on the first try! If you can really call it trying. Wow, can this really by happening? My husband and I had our two year anniversary on Sunday. It was on our anniversary that I took the home pregnancy test and was very surprised by the positive result. I got light headed and started shaking. I was excited and nervous. Saturday I had been feeling nauseated, dizzy with a headache, and had been having mild cramping for a few days. Since I had been feeling a little 'off' I had realized it was possible, but I really thought that maybe I was just coming down with an illness...
I am nervous that I am once again not in as good of shape as I would like to be. I had been running 2-3x/week but had stopped about a month and a half before i found out I am pregnant. I exercised that very night in the living room and went running on Monday! I am planning to run as long as possible through this pregnancy and walk when I get too uncomfortable. I gained 42 pounds with my last pregnancy. I lost all but a couple pounds of that weight, but it was slower to come off than I would like. I also feel weak and flabby. I have learned in my classes that a fit woman that continues to exercise thoughout her pregnancy and afterwards takes only about 9 weeks to lose the weight while it takes a sedentary woman 9 months to drop the weight gained. I hope I can keep myself motivated this time around!!! I quit walking around 7 months last time. My goal is to gain 25-30 pounds with this pregnancy. I just fit back into my normal clothes! Darn! But here we go again!
I will be graduating with my BS degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Chemistry this December. My husband is also graduating with the same degree (we met in class).
Just since we are all pregnant or TTC or mothers I may make comments that otherwise might be considered too open.
Though I have complained about the adversities of pregnancy (I did NOT enjoy it last time), I feel great about having another child! Kayley, now 11 months, has enriched our lives. She brings unexpected joy to my personal life, my marriage, and also happiness and unity to our extended family on both sides! She is amazing. She has the best sense of humor (she is hilarious and loves to make us laugh).

Sunday, 7 December Ugg. that makes me sick when people do that. They do that to me so much that I find myself avoiding certian people. Megan seems to feel more secure when she has a hold of something. I tend to be insecure and timid in new situations too. Just like some people are more adventurous than other I think that applies to babies. Megan still will not take many steps at all by herself and will not walk at all if I let go she has to be the one to let go which does not happen too much. I tell pople she is taking steps now and then and now they say well mine was running within days lbah blah blah. They still act like something is wrong because she is slow to fully walk after her frist steps. You can't win. Is your duaghter ahead in verbal, my is I think because she has had plenty of time to consintrate on that since she surely is not interested in consintrating on walking. Laura Ward -

Friday, 5 December yes I can't wait to find out the gender...i think it's more exciting this time, maybe because i'm excited for a boy or a girl. another boy would be nice since they will be so close in age, but of course i do want to have a girl eventually. Plus i wont be able to use many of the same clothes because my boys will be born opposite ends of the year so kind of hoping for a girl for that reason. I didn't really notice a change when I weaned my son but i was also suffering with m/s at the time. He was 11 months when i weaned him and i thought it would be really hard on him since he was up all night nursing but he took it like a champ and sleeps so muh better now! Only 3 more days until we find out...yay!! Dirk -
Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading. shelly32 -

I gained about 46lbs with my son and was running from the time he was 3 weeks old until August when I hurt my ankle and now I just didn't get back into it because i'm so busy/tired! I'm terrfied of gaining weight again too and was finally back to my pre-pregnancy weight when I found out i was pregnant again haha. It's unbelievable how fast this pregnancy is going so far.
